I've been in SOLG over 10 years now although only been seriously invested last 3 years (and been lurking on this board around 18 months).
If I was offered £1 now I think I'd take it. What about you other LTHs: Would you take £1 for each of your SOLG shares?
Stevie - your not the CEO of RIO/Newcrest or BHP are you trying to gauge any wobbly PI's looking to relieve them selves of a few shares ? :o(
Nah mate - I've waited this long so £1.00 wouldn't do it for me.......riding this winner
No, DG - just a guy patiently waiting for this to come good so I can retire early. Have amassed a fair chunk of shares in my pension so £1 would do it for me.
I would not be happy with £1 if we got that just for cascabel. Alpala is a small part of cascabel and what about the other priority targets with gold amd copper at surface? This is the time we have been waiting years for not he time to throw in the towel. Be strong man!
Sit back and have another cigar.
A pound is far to cheap .. look at the growing assets
Lovely big porphyries..
GLA
Plenty room for more growth in this company, especially given the other sites and early scrape indicators. Just depends how this is packaged up in terms of SP and time frame and what is being sold
Good stuff Steve - a little more patience and I believe your retirement will have arrived.
A bit like Cascabel I think £1 is only scratching the surface
I'll take what Nick recommends.
Stevie mine can go for £2+
Probably being lazy and can try find out for myself but just wondering if anybody knows how much cash in the bank BHP have? Anyone know?
Ah Google! BHP reported a net profit of US$3.71 billion for the year through June, down from US$5.89 billion in the 12 months prior. What is really like to know is how much cash they actually have to hand?
More than most country’s Rich.
21,481,000,000 aud

Blmey! That's nearly £15.57 GBP
Thanks Smickster. Wowsers!! So if BHP can turn a profit of around £6B for their next year (there was a massive one off payment they had to pay last year) and give it all to SolGold please we’d all be laughing as would BHP with potentially £90B worth or resource in the ground for Cascabel only! £6B Cheap as chips for BHP!
They doubled their cash holding in the last few years....must of had there eye on a deposit somewhere that they fancied.
Like most investors and certainly NM I want to realise a true value for the resource we have so taking Alpala in isolation with extensions to Trivino and possibly Aggy I would like to think once we have drilled the guts of it towards the end of 2019 and included in a BFS around the middle of 2020:this could and should be worth north of £2 per share and hopefully nearer to £2.50 especially if it sparks a bidding war! £1 is far to cheap to sell some of our Crown Jewels in fact it would be daylight robbery but could happen if bids come in too soon hence why NM is trying to keep BHP sweet and onside until he has a proven financially viable mine rather than just resource assays. GLA whichever way it plays out as we will all be winners it’s just a case of when and by how much
Thanks for the responses folks. We shall see how things progress. I look forward to having to make the choice when the sp is beyond £1.
