Great minds think alike I have exactly the same weighting
SF,
Sorry to hear your position regarding insider trading and seeing the potential here.
I am invested in SNG with 70% of my portfolio and the other 30% in in AVCT. Have a read on them. They have a good platform of drug trials and antigen test kits to pop out any day. DYOR
Good luck

This guy is just a deramper and wants attention. Ignore him. He wouldn’t be stupid enough to broadcast it here if it meant his partner loosing there job. This guy should be reported for miss leading information to potential buyers.
It's quite simple. Don't do it.
https://www.naspp.com/Blog/April-2014/Husband-and-Wives-Insider-Trading
There's a high chance you'd end up in hot water yourself and that's ignoring any risk to your partner and their job.
Find a share that you don't have any connection and invest in that.
No, they usually go up in a straight line, unless MMs are playing their games.
how odd. is this usual for shares to fluctuate?
the share was in the 30's, then hit 70p ish. then went back to 30's then hit 225p ish. i was out the running as soon as i knew the share was up to 70p first time round. hence why i did not buy.
so what i am asking is, now the share has rocketed and i did not invest at any point this year, lets be clear on that, now the share is a free for all, the risk is the same for me as it is for anyone. it could go up as well as down from one day to the next.
How odd I was posting same thing Ghia this morning on another board because of something someone posted . Strange this poster posted this later. K
If you are truly an insider you will be required to fill out forms in advance of all of your trading activities.
As an employee of an AIM listed company I have to inform our legal secretary before every trade for permission, this extends to my immediate and extended family.
When going into any relationship, I check NAV of the lady and check for any issued warrants. This way I can protect my lifestyle. If the the price to earning ratio is poor, then I drop the stock.
The only thing I short is women. I never like over exposing my position or going long.
Sparkle.....I am not condoning it.....just the opposite....
But just making the point it is real...very real....
Is your name jeoffrey archer. If so, its probably OK
One word of warning, if you are genuine then you are on thin ice now I think. If not, then interesting ramp attempt.
Organised corruption .... end of !!
Might be worth a read to see if you fit into any of the definitions:

@swimfan, it's always good to check your agreement, however that's not the only item to check. There are other regulations that may supersede and as such. I've always given advice that it's a big no, it gives the company and yourself a peace of mind.
Fortunately, even though Synairgen happens to be a front runner, there are other opportunities on the exchange.
manifesto... you are 100% spot on .. but you still wouldn't want to be done for it. And the trolls on this site are not nice.
Swim: i'd swim away from here fast.
Anyone who thinks insider trading is not rife are deluded...It goes on
everywhere....FCA are not fit for purpose.....USA is totally corrupt...Don't get me started
on China and Russia ..They manipulate stock markets around the world and Singapore can
be added to that list....
Sad but true....
swim... i'd be real careful to not discuss this further as your other half probably / almost certainly should not be disclosing anything to you at all and you may be putting his job on the nose. My other half point blank refuses to discuss anything at all until after it is public knowledge. I am the very last to know. I don't think id take the risk personally.... there are a myriad of other companies in this sector you know nothing about. I think if you were accused of insider dealing, what you have just admitted in that you knew the results before the public would be quite damning evidence tbh. Why take the risk? Or ask Synairgen themselves for their view given your other half works for them? If they are OK, then probably OK. If they are not OK, then you have your answer.
Hi and welcome-
You will tend to know if you are an insider - or you may be asked to come inside.
Your wife will have either an explicit rule that she can not buy stock or will be detailed in her employee handbook, but either way even if you work at Synairgen you may not be classed as an insider.
You may be in the lucky position of have more info or are just better informed..
"i knew news before the stock holders on here. hence why my pot is at £42k not £200k plus"
That makes no sense, however good luck.
Get on board the rocket ship or watch it take off, your choice, but whatever you do just don't tell the the other half about it as it's very hard to follow the number 1 rule - Protect ones capital.
Appearance and perceptions matter. If Mrs B independently makes a fortune on a play where you have insider info, no-one is going to believe she did it off her own bat. The world is corrupt, those who prefer to play honestly are still automatically assumed to be cheating when they win. People distrust and fear what they don't understand. Everyone understands cheating, few have much understanding of reason and logic and risk etc
swim - it's all down to what's on the paper that's been signed.
In terms of insider trading,
- you shall not conduct insider trading
- you shall not be seen as conducting insider trading.
The second bit is quite wide ranging, so you'll need Mx Swimfan to get a formal approval.
Second bit is Mx Swimfan's employment terms. You can be nowhere near insider info, but the terms of employment may prevent you both from dealing in any shares, etc. I used to be subject to such rules and I have a strong feeling that they most likely violate one's freedoms, but it's a tricky area.
What annoys me is that there's plenty of real insider dealing going on anyway - people who break the law cannot be controlled by introducing even more legislation.
Right, I'm going off on a tangent now. Better go and make me a coffee and actually get some work done today.
thank you Mr Big, that was the kind of response i was looking for.
it's the going forward from here that i and tentative about.
as the share has rocketed.
anyone could read about that.
hence why i did not buy in in the 30's.
to me, now, i would just be like any investor.
difficulty is, holding the stock for gains,
but if i know info in future that is news meaning the share will plummet, then i sell, take a small fortune, that is the same.
human nature would be unlikely i sit tight and watch a life changing fortune dwindle to a pittance.
it's a double edged sword.
i do not need to do research in the company.
i knew news before the stock holders on here. hence why my pot is at £42k not £200k plus.
