...that whenever a bit of good news comes out the same few decide to get super negative and bring out the past....
If you dont have anything positive to say why are you here? surely you should be out and looking at other opportunities, anyone thinking about investing if they come here to start there background reading they will be well and truly put off by the same few loud negative individuals...
Bleating on about the same things aint going to change anything.
Just filter them. Don't give them your air time. If they are invested they are actively trying to destroy their own investment. If they are not invested, they have nothing to say to investors.
Because they are buying and want to get shares as cheaply as possible, play them at their own game. Increased negativity is a sign of positivity, pi's will get spooked at sell at the bottom, this is the bottom there's only one direction this is going.
Stonebuilt, A solid foundation to build upon - be fearful when others are greedy; and be greedy when others are fearful. With the right news, this multibags to, at the very least, Lupi’s sensible prediction of 1.8p.
Couldn't agree more, I'm so glad to be out of this share as I just don't trust the BOD anymore. I genuinely wish all lth's the best with this but I came in trusting JP and now I don't believe a word. I thank SML for teaching me alot about investing, especially exiting when you see cracks appearing but when you compare the fundamentals of SML with similar sized copper plays such as PXC, I know who I trust and where I want my money to be. Good luck all.
isn't it so nice when people pop back in after selling out to quickly tell us how much they hope we do well, even though they know the company is going down the pan and we are clearly not as wise as them, perhaps sometime they should even mention another share just in case a few fancy selling here and joining them! and yet they accuse others of not being trustworthy!!
im actually sick of it, any good news and the same few come in here sh** on the company, wish us well and then FO until the next bit of good news...
What do they think they are achieving?? Should we be thanking them??
Its like someone having a birthday and getting nice presents and then they stroll in tell you how sh** the present is and that your closer to dying now.
Have we had some good news? lol
We will do this Q IMO. PEPR and funding, watch this space.
Hope so Lupi (very slow at bzt too!)
I’m with you on that, Lupi - like a dog with a bone.
DV, You just stick with RMM.
hey i like RMM too,, i got in at a nice price and its doing well, but it does have similarities to this one, i.e. quite likely a lot of LTH are underwater
Slurm, And therein lies the equally similar potential - get that PEPR and finance, and off we go!
I got in a good price, too - just can’t work out when to bail out.
yeah, there is a lot of talk...thats the big question
Yes Prop, bought into RMM for a quick punt which evolved, as I learnt more about the company, into a substantial long term(ish) investment. Much like SML! lol
Hate to say it but RMM does appear to have a very decent BoD but, hey, i once thought that of JP and his gang...
Well, I took the plunge and finally sold my remaining 2 million shares yesterday and probably a few here will be annoyed that I do wish you all well and hope that this share comes good in the near future.
I have been in SML since October 2016 so have experienced the roller coaster ride alongside a lot of you.
I don't need to restate my reasons for leaving as you will all have a pretty good idea.
So, bye for now and I've enjoyed your company over the last few years!
Each to their own. We are due news this most probably this quarter regarding the PEPR and funding to bring a second income stream online. We have held this "bottom" for a long time so this it where we are. We may fluctuate around this mark but this is the Market value and the tangible asset value. We have an income stream of circa $3m pa and we have an mcap that will respond to the slightest interest or PEPR news. If I had been watching this share from a non holding position since 2016, I would be asserting that this is the time to buy, not sell.
Rest my case selling at the bottom
DV, I, too, bought RMM for a quick win - but has now elevated into a marathon gain.
Hawkmoon, I’m unsure as to exactly who would be annoyed at your selling and leaving SML: it is a - relatively - free market, from which you can enter and exit of your own volition, without anyone really caring. Best of luck to you in your future investments - I know that I need it myself.
I bought RMM this week - DJ was on about then ages ago.
Hawkmoon - all the best - I site here on a big loss thinking I should have sold up either when it briefly reached 0.8 to 0.9 when we were in court about Brendagate, or when I was buying GGP at 1.6
Hindsight is wonderful
Cheers for the good wishes, take care :-)
Thelearner, He may well have been on about them, ages ago - but, if you classify ‘ages ago’ as, say, about a year ago, then you would now be significantly underwater: RMM was a mismanaged company, with a significant debt to repay - hence, new management, with a turnaround plan, with debt wrapped for equity; the lesson is clear: don’t buy into shares without performing your own due diligence - only now is RMM a good investment with multibags potential, much like this one.
