Whether you meant the comment as a joke or not, the unusual price rise on Friday remains unexplained.
Izstar at least you got the joke
I am sure Oscar meant that as a joke - not many millionaires being made if there was inside information! SP utterly bombed out despite today’s good news
….and just how did that price-sensitive information get out and traded on? Deafening disinterest from any other buyers today!
Hence the reason for last weeks buying
Avannah Resources Plc, the developer of the Barroso Lithium Project in Portugal, Europe’s largest spodumene lithium deposit, is pleased to announce the completion of the resource-related drilling in the first phase of its current two-phase drilling programme. The first set of assays from holes drilled at the NOA and Reservatorio orebodies have also been received showing excellent grades and continuity of mineralisation. These results, along with those still to be received, will be used to finalise plans for the second phase of drilling and will be fed into new resource estimates for the orebodies as part of the Project’s ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study.
08:10 RNS - Did someone have a late start this week :-)
Still worth the 70 minute wait over the normal 07:00 RNS to get these results. Showing how much the resource can be increased adding to the already competing reason for MdB to be progressing into production ASAP for EU Li independence.
When will Europe look at this project properly? Great opportunity for the CEO to get this to the front of the agenda
“…a road paved with potholes.” Rather like SAVs journey in Portugal to date?
My post? :-))))
Any idea why we're on a nice jump up...
Full ask paid
I see we have a new tool on the board, literally
Interesting to see some much larger than usual trades going on in recent times? Doesn't seem to be pushing sp forward though. After Oman and Moz thought we were in safe hands moving in Portugal, little did I know!
The money spigot remains open for strategic investment in critical raw materials such as lithium - here the UAE will tap its sovereign wealth fund to invest in Australian projects

Seems that Savannah and Keliber (Sibanye-Stillwater Keliber lithium project) are currently involved in EXCEED and LITHOS EU Horizon RDI projects. Metso is also involved in LITHOS and if I have understood correctly Keliber will implement Metso's technology for lithium refining. What if Savannah also?

1.65.....should be the downtrend low..imo
lets see
Sorry, mathematical dyslexia late at night.. as it would depend on the number of issued shares but I am sure it was over 5p
In the tweet that Savannah posted the other day, it mentioned an interview that he had done with a local to company. This is available on U Tube and is well worth a listen. You may need to fiddle around in the subtitle settings to get the language, but persevere.
It confirms many things on many levels.

Well over 3p. Over 6 if my single grey cell is right as they were set to put in £6.4mfor a10% stake..
As you say, SAV backed out of the deal later on, rightly at the time to my mind, but it has been a fraught few years and current times are hard, at least for the now. The current yawning gap that has developed, fora project that is now much further on than the original arrangement would hardly make it comparatively expensive than previously. No doubt we shall see.
I believe it was over 3p / share for 10% holding, in addition a 50% off take agreement to help funding. And then WE cancelled.....good call in my opinion.
Mick, won’t be cheap? Can you remind me of the price agreed with Galp a few years ago?
Even my wife would be able to park in that empty field.
EIT RawMaterials financed two projects, “EuGeLi” (geothermal
brine extraction) and “LiRef”.
Keliber, Savannah, Galp and Aurora are/we're all part of LiRef so may well see Savannah follow a similar route to Keliber

It is surely possible to produce lithium hydroxide/carbonate from spodumene concentrate in Europe profitably. Keliber's lithium mine, concentrator and lithium refinery for lithium hydroxide production are under construction in Finland. Because of the 600M€ investments needed, the company is currently owned by South-African Sibanye-Stillwater and Finnish government-based Finnish Minerals Group. Production will start in 2025. Savannah should probably make the same - refine lithium hydroxide with some big industrial partner like Galp/Aurora - not sell spodumene concentrate as such although that is profitable as well.
