Yes totally agree with you - EG it is and maybe some upside re wressle if they get a move on
Country will pay the price for political approach to oil and gas industry during period when renewables are no where near ready and the world so dangerous a place
Let’s face it does not take a genius to work out the sp can’t go any lower - ffs it is at .85p - I bought years ago at 8p * I am entitled to be a deramper - trust me, it is not something I enjoy
So obviously it can only go a tad higher - perhaps to .95 or the dizzy heights of 1.10p. They had the chance with wressle to make us all some money and blew it
So frustrating - the sp is stuck on 61p - just don't understand given years of growth - guess they need to transition into true profitability not EBITA profitability but even so SP should be at £1 given all they have achieved - what is holding it back?
I totally agree with everything you say and am in exactly the same position. Do something for shareholders for a change and buy back shares at this horrific price
Problem is as the recent attempt to change the direction of the business illustrated we are in no way the owners of this business, we have zero control over successive boards who seem to think they are on the set of Dallas. Good salaries etc, funded trips and lifestyle whilst we throw away our savings
Yes and no way to remove him until his term is up
Pure Deja vous today - lots of similar tbs’s over the years / copy and paste - but as the old Wendy’s af used to say where’s the meat - better be coming for all our sakes
Yes markets in the doldrums - in other times the growth story here would have been richly rewarded. IMO it will happen soon enough - maybe a move from aim to nasdaq? The fact they can’t raise prices shows how competitive their market is so surely their being bought with less resulting less competition/economy of scale makes sense?
For instance why not use say 25% of free cash flow to buy back shares at this ridiculous price - they won't do it as they intend to squander the last of wressle entirely on further projects - so angry but I will keep my promise yesterday and stay quiet and then loudly eat my hat if EG comes off
Absolutely they are
I just wish that for once instead of setting out a glorious future with dates they won’t even get close to they showed some humility and introspection in terms of how things have gone so wrong for so long - the project under numerous ceos has not worked. Why - where is the analysis to inform how they go forward. Yet we get the same approach with the word strategic sprinkled liberally around and the use of their collective business acumen to identify new projects. Please sell what is left of the company and wressle whilst there is still some value left. Even the cash position looks poor with a chunk mortgaged off to EG.
I hold a large number of shares., am generally a positive person but this company is being run for the directors wallets/egos. At least wh did but a few shares so that was something
With the shares at almost 1p surely you jest (bought mine at 6-9p). Same mo - lots of initiates, lots of anticipated and exciting news - focus on future news with nothing delivered - where are end’s
If wressle had been properly handled we’d be at 3/4p. Only people who have ever gained are successive directors who travel the world at our cost - so unjust
Promise I will stop bleating
The problem is they are not accountable - long list of ceos and directors who have failed - on high salaries driven by remuneration committees - take their full and then someone else takes over
All we can hope is that they pull either
Ireland or EG off otherwise we are proverbially stuffed - lost so much here
Is WH different - serenity would suggest not …
I think that is the key point - I thought for many years they would have to raise again when they expanded and they have now ruled that out. Not only is that almost unique in an AIM share it also confirms management's confidence in themselves, their employees and the business
Very true - our only card to play is to vote directors out at each AGM as they come up for re election - my finger is hovering
Hope they achieve something, anything rather then relying on growth chart related to the cost of the board
A decade of failure
