Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Just watched their briefing. This is a professionally run outfit operating in tough, tough markets. They have done exceptionally well and when the economy turns this company will thrive - IMO
Directors did not appear desperate in the slightest
Yep, makes absolutely no sense. Anyone who sat in on yesterday's presentation would have seen the confidence, vision and excitement of the company's leaders. Trite to say but as they continue down their growth road taking share from competitors in a growth area of healthcare and as distributors and regulatory approvals come in, the SP of this company is only going in one direction. I may be wrong but that will happen quickly when it happens. Have not sold a share since buying my large stake
Yes super progress and as you say new product which aims at a part of the market where there is great demand.
Who knows re the market today but at some point this company will be properly recognised for what it is, in my view - a gem.
Brought a smile to my face when I read your entry. I have had some terrible moments with aim shares and given the odd performance of the share price here I totally understand why you had your nightmare! As stated by others below I hope floundering SP purely reflects lack of profitability with its potential ignored for the time being due to current difficult markets. So hopefully market just ignoring future potential as against current but reducing losses and nothing else!
Would settle for 15% plus growth with more detail around when new distribution agreements are likely to come on line and also estimates of costs involved in future expansion plans.
Hope we all sleep well tomorrow night
Sell has dropped to 49p and even at that price you can only sell a small amount
Someone has been consistently selling over the past couple of weeks with lots of tiny inconsequential buys - I am a big holder here so hope this is just someone selling out their holding have lost patience - we’ll know Tuesday
Yes very well written and you certainly cannot argue with anything he says but does imply they are still struggling to get a major to take this on with the clock ticking
It is ridiculous that the greens are blocking what would be the perfect short term solution. The world is so uncertain, it makes no sense whatsoever.
There is something here that just does not resonate with the market. They have not made spectacular progress but that will happen as regulatory approvals are given and new production facilities built in the years to come. You would think the way this company has been turned around (excellent management and workforce) together with first-rate products and new agreements in a growing market.... it will have to turn soon otherwise buy-out?
Hope this set of results provides the impetus for some SP growth.
Not a step to take lightly but it worked at Tern plc - where the CEO was forced to step down and no rights issues permitted. This obviously creates problems in terms of going forward but I have had enough here so will vote against the board next time round unless there is news on Ireland in the meantime
Sold most of mine but still have a few left
A company that has promised for many, many years a calendar full of news flow - sporadic at best and seldom positive. Certainly the action box has a lot in it but nothing ever is delivered. I would certainly vote for a change although took a big loss on most of my very long held shares - the fund raise was the killer for me
Ireland is the one, last, great hope
otherwise start buying back shares and forget your hare brained schemes EOG
Yes, it is utterly baffling. I suspect once the distribution agreement are up and running and regulatory approvals made this will take off. But even as things stand the SP should be around the £1 mark on TRX's fundamentals. Is there something we don't know or can't see around the products and their future uses, future fund raise for next growth phase.... All indicators are positive at the moment so hopefully re rate and then upwards for this great company. If the SP does not improve then surely a TO has to be a distinct possibility
Agree. Have been buying further shares in small amounts. Results next month will tell us more but with the new distribution agreements in place, new products, settled and capable management team in place this will I hope see steady improvement in the years ahead - with the pace picking up when they expand their production facility in two years time - happy for a rights issue at that time unless hopefully they use their loan facility dependant on interests rates
Good luck to all holders
