Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
2-3 weeks ago there was to be a mass gathering of disparate groups descending on Boticas to beat a drum and dance around a maypole. Has anybody seen or heard any reports in the national press? Free handouts or Parish Mag? I realise that it might take a few days for it to percolate through the system, but you might have thought that whilst possibly not front page headlines, that there might be some sort of commentary might be available - who was represented, numbers, what was said or even a good time was had by all - but nada, nothing, zilch.
And then I see in Portugal Resident. https://www.portugalresident.com/climate-activists-occupy-ministry-of-environment/ And they want fossil fuels ended by 2030 - all well and good but both extremes of this argument need a pragmatic solution and some understanding.
Ramping again?
But you are right, lots of news in the pipeline with the tap about to be turned on.
Maybe. Certainly running out of working days. How much notice are folks to be given? RNS post 4.30pm for the following morning?

If SAV note this with interest, maybe we should as well.
Still no news on the NOA resource Jorc or the investor event as detailed in the annual report and set to be forthcoming before MayDay.
Get the popcorn in.
Headline a bit deceptive. 13% EV registration share v 13.9% last year, Hybrids up, Uk and France are up. Total mkt for all cars -10%. Early Easter. Diesel collapse even reader. New OEM rules coming in next year and reductions in grants may have.
Runs with a current ‘news’ narrative that anything regards EVs is bad

Interesting and very Timely? Security of long term supply and help for suppliers with their expertise and political engagement, especially in Portugal.
5.5% spodumene concentrate does not go directly to gigafactories but has to be processed. There are plenty of gigafactories planned across Europe, little processing capacity and with virtually zero eu lithium production currently and a target of min 10%, there will be substantial imports whether SAV produce or not.
Not sure why Teslas reduction in worldwide staff count or a peripheral (to Europe) gigafactory hopeful should prompt a sell. Just a brief stop to admire the view and catch breath whilst walking up the mountain.
Thought the tone of both MK and EP’s comments were both optimistic and realistic, recognising the progress of the last year and the hurdles that still need to be passed. I did note a potential change as they may look to move onto the front foot and to start to counter negative positioning and comments. Based on where they are at, what they have achieved and what is being proposed, methinks that this may be that watershed, turning from boy to man. The next few weeks may put some hairs on the chest.
For those that struggle to translate, some pertinent extracts:
“ "Savanna's process to identify strategic partners has now advanced to phase two, on time…….. "As planned, we are now moving forward with a restricted list of potential partners, who are expected to take the necessary additional steps in the coming weeks,
Emanuel Proença told investors that the strategic partnerships should be signed by April 2024. In addition, the company is also looking for "additional sources of public funding" for the exploitation of lithium it wants to set up in Portugal to start in 2026.
At the end of April, Savannah will publish its annual results for 2023 and will organise a new online event for investors”
If that isn’t the sound of an egg timer being turned over, not sure what is.
This needs to be read, widely.
With updates and info.
NOA Jorc resource - later this month
Visitors “top tier global groups’ - have been and seen
Investor event later this month, details to follow.
Further recruitment planned etc etc. DFS being worked up. Acquisitions continuing.
Very solid RNS.
Not sure that would go down too well.
I hope they tidy up after themselves, as SAV will do. Contribute, as Sav will do. Provide a lasting legacy, as SAV will do.
And yet what is more likely that there will be some sugary memories of a talking shop circus, that came and went, leaving little option for any with ambition to do anything but leave.
Free battery charging and brollies?
Helps answer one of the original local concerns regards lack of info and inclusion. Hopefully over the past months they will have seen the level of information available and this maybe far more detailed than wanted or needed, but shows that SAV are looking to be as transparent as they can be.
Knocking down another dominoe
Not just Climaximo. The ACP is looking to promote longer term employment and not hand to mouth short gig economy contracts. Are they going to recognise the opportunity that is available?
Much like the rainbow banner of LGBTQ…..x25, not all strands agree with the objectives of the others but will any be prepared to counter group think.
I also note that Quercus look to champion court actions. That’s fair enough but at what stage do they accept any decision? Are there endless appeals on progressively finer points to stretch out and delay or would they accept and acknowledge anything positive that would be provided by the BLP. Talking of court cases, be it against Government or Savannah, one might hope to get the decisions ere long.

Not quite the supposed purpose of the National Convention as the headline suggests as it is not a single focus but if they must meet somewhere, I suppose it’s a flag to dance round.
Looking at the organisers - “ The organisation of this latest meeting includes the Association for Combating Precarity – Inflexible Precarious Workers, Climáximo, Jobs for the Climate, Montalegre Com Vida, the Association for Urban Mobility by Bicycle (MUBi), OIKOS, Quercus, Sciaena, Último Recurso, XR Portugal and ZERO – Sustainable Earth”. I do wonder whether Urban Mobility by Bicycle will be looking for a grant from Savannah for cycle lanes around Boticas.
It will be interesting to hear about the weekend event and whether all the local residents enjoyed their scaled back version of Glastonbury. Meanwhile, will we see the new government break the political silence
26th Jan RNS
“ The resource infill drilling programme was designed to upgrade existing Indicated and Inferred resources at NOA, Reservatorio, Pinheiro and Grandao to both Measured and Indicated categories so that it can be used to define a maiden JORC (2012) compliant Reserve as part of the DFS study.”
26th Feb RNS - confirmation that Phse 1 drilling complete
12th March RNS - results from Pinheiro after slight delay.
That would imply that the drill results from NOA, Grandao and Reservatorio are likely to be very soon. If they are half as positive there should be some happy Easter Bunnies, and will make the numbers look ever better.
Something to look forward to after the break.
Well, no RNS. No sustained buying throughout the day. Looked like it was set to peter out when someone (our new 5% holder perhaps?) pops in with a good sized bite just as people are packing away their pencils before sliding off.
May all you Easter Eggs be Lindt. Roll on April
So, are we done for Easter?
Will we get a RNS tomorrow so we have a 4-5 day window to think about it and word to spread?
Are we going to see some sustained buy with many folk setting off early to beat the rush leaving the committed to help themselves.
Is it set to Peter out with nothing to write home about.
Whatever, stuff will happen when it happens
A few up from the 50m swimming badge.
Some interesting winners alongside - Lightsource BP
Well done SAV. More will come in time
