Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
26th Jan RNS
“ The resource infill drilling programme was designed to upgrade existing Indicated and Inferred resources at NOA, Reservatorio, Pinheiro and Grandao to both Measured and Indicated categories so that it can be used to define a maiden JORC (2012) compliant Reserve as part of the DFS study.”
26th Feb RNS - confirmation that Phse 1 drilling complete
12th March RNS - results from Pinheiro after slight delay.
That would imply that the drill results from NOA, Grandao and Reservatorio are likely to be very soon. If they are half as positive there should be some happy Easter Bunnies, and will make the numbers look ever better.
Something to look forward to after the break.
Well, no RNS. No sustained buying throughout the day. Looked like it was set to peter out when someone (our new 5% holder perhaps?) pops in with a good sized bite just as people are packing away their pencils before sliding off.
May all you Easter Eggs be Lindt. Roll on April
So, are we done for Easter?
Will we get a RNS tomorrow so we have a 4-5 day window to think about it and word to spread?
Are we going to see some sustained buy with many folk setting off early to beat the rush leaving the committed to help themselves.
Is it set to Peter out with nothing to write home about.
Whatever, stuff will happen when it happens
A few up from the 50m swimming badge.
Some interesting winners alongside - Lightsource BP
Well done SAV. More will come in time

Not an endorsement per se and it is only one persons view, but an example of an increased and wider level of interest in the BLP, with a view that the project will move forward.
Coming on to the end of Q1 and a number of the strands are coming together and should be set to report on. Aside from any headline grabbing potential of offtake agreements, EIA progress etc, I am looking forward to hearing the drilling results, upgrading the status of the known resource and hopefully expanding it beyond the 50mt marker. The high grades recently announced will make quite a difference and the work still to be done/reported on is likely to enhance. Bigger and better brains may need to explain the implications once these results are in and I am looking forward to that.
And meanwhile CALB gets its Sines battery plant go ahead from APA.

Lots of difficulties are a result of the lack of earlier decisions and endless prevarication. Some bullets have actually got to be bitten.
Not the crossword, but following the attendance at PDAC and Giga Europe, this weekend SAV hits Madrid with private and institutional investors.
This year with all that is going on, there is an especially good almost tangible story to tell.
I see the Creative English Course is helping to paint pictures with words.
Excellent set of results to take to the first day of the Giga Europe event .
They will have had their breakfasts and getting ready for the opening speeches.
The last Politico poll of polls showed a much larger margin between AD and PS so maybe the Presidential plea for people to vote and high turn out has had its effect.
They are all aware of the different issues that face the country, high rents, low wages, immigration, emigration of the ambitious and perceived (or not) corruption. The BLP touches positively on many of these issues and, despite the implications of the SundayTimes article yesterday, the confirmation from the authorities that SAV has no case to answer would help undercut any political opposition looking to make objective decisions for the benefit of the country.
As you say TB, one might hope that the AD and PS will be adult enough to enable positive economic development for their respective electorates, and not use the possible disruptive votes of Chega to stall, just because they can. I can understand their name, looking back and saying ‘enough’ but do they want their current battle cry to be associated with ‘Not Enough’ by their current and future supporters if all they do is prevent economic renewal?
When the political 3-legged milking stool has one much shorter leg, it doesn’t make it very stable for business to plan.
EU day at PDAC is over. On to the next one in Stockholm with the Portuguese election over.
Friendly?
Long term?
Just asking?
Not sure that all RNS need to be price sensitive.
The recent RNS to detail the conferences that SAV were set to attend this month was informative rather than price sensitive.
“Tier one and new entrants” and “ additional sources of public funding have become available” were interesting/ teasing tidbits.
I know that Portugal seems to take its time in many ways but it struck me as interesting that SAV are included as part of the wider EU delegation. Reading though the details of the EU Day at PDAC, would the EU be happy if one of their party was under a cloud? I note that confirmation of our attendance/ inclusion came after the update and review RNS. It should give added confidence that a clean bill of health will be received whenever.
Meanwhile, only a week to go until the election which should establish a firm base and a chance of clarity.
Hell of an ISA.
Could be crystallising losses to carry forward for CGT. Budget next week, tax year end 5 weeks
Are they matched trades? Or is someone having an early spring clean?
There was a bit of a rally for a number of Li plays at the back end of last week with the potential for supply constraints/ reductions. Was it coincidence? Coupled with some more positive news flow versus a well overdone faux drop. A first look might tie the two together. A second, might give a flicker to an element of doubt.
Sorry, mathematical dyslexia late at night.. as it would depend on the number of issued shares but I am sure it was over 5p
In the tweet that Savannah posted the other day, it mentioned an interview that he had done with a local to company. This is available on U Tube and is well worth a listen. You may need to fiddle around in the subtitle settings to get the language, but persevere.
It confirms many things on many levels.
