Great post, Basil. The thing that triggers me, is, those with Stockholm Syndrome, those who will point the finger anywhere else but the board. They use whataboutery, it could be worse, conspiracy and they're all out to get us. The recent thing of wanting to throw more money at the RF is weird. It would still mean dillution and again some LTH wouldn't be able to take part. As it stands, the compsny has enough to deliver 1a data and a small runway after. If a company, whose business model is to license at the pre clinical stage can't do a deal at the clinical stage. Then the either the compound is no good or the board are no good. Why would you willingly throw more money their way?
It is what it is, we are here now. The pressure is on the board to deliver what they say they will and on time. Posters here keep telling us how good 1801 is. It's time to see if they are correct.
Morning Silver - not sure anyone would accept 25M but 200M+ (£2+ per share) and I bet many on here would now consider that given the rough rides of late and the uncertainties due to lack of comms etc .. and 200M is still very small change for the large pharmas
One thing I don’t understand is why at the current ridiculous market cap of £11 million we have not been the subject of an opportunist hostile takeover bid? Surely big pharmas like GSK etc know all about SARs products and research and anything up to £25 million would just be small change to them for products with huge potential.
Refreshingly, a great and honest post. Thank you.
Hi Krusty and Cobalt,
1. The reality is that the WRAP offer was NOT open to a large amount of Sareum's loyal private shareholders although some were eventually invited but too late, for example see Andy's post.
2. I would suggest that the uptake at 10p would have been significantly higher if it had been widened to all PI's via their brokers and that Sareum could have raised much more via a bigger WRAP offer. We will get a lot of waffle from the BOD that this was not possible due to timings but they could have. That's a fact.
3. I'm just not sure if Sareum want a large PI shareholder base (again) as we sometimes are made to feel an inconvenience. e.g. The disdain shown at the last AGM, in particular, was a poor show.
4. It's not a "conspiracy theory" as you state. It's actually based on 14+ years of being a Sareum shareholder and understanding the loyalty of the investor base here. That is something that the BOD failed to do with the WRAP offer.
5. I've been buying Sareum shares at historic lows for many years (14+) and only recently went in to the red here. I had 6.4 Million shares before the consolidation which became 128,000. On the back of an envelope I worked out a while back that I had invested far more than (some of) the executive directors bearing in mind that my shares were not options / gifted but actually paid for in hard earned cash.
6. To witness the shambolic self inflicted share price crash from 440p to 10p has not been a happy experience having been over x 30 up!
7. I'm normally pretty good at spotting a share and selling it at the top. I certainly spotted a good one in Sareum all those years ago but unlike with GGP, ARB, SNG, NCYT, RKH, PYC and a few others that have done brilliantly for me in my ISAS I did not sell Sareum. Instead I believed Tim Mitchell and Stephen Parker's assurances about creating shareholder value. That was a big mistake as the collapse of the share price and value / MCAP of Sareum has been a car crash of epic proportions.
8. It's more than likely that we will get the usual waffle and pompous blustering about creating shareholder value from its new base of 10p (ignoring and without an apology for the share price destruction) but my point is these guys have overseen a -90%+ reduction in value since 2001. That's a fact not a conspiracy theory!
This board is fairly busy. Busy more than the company is w/o an office.
Just bring on the results, Tim. He then can approach us PI and promote a further capital raise if he wants to to keep on going the business.
Buying RF out? What Bullsh$$t you are talking. Leave us PI's alone.
Sareum has willingly chosen RF as partners and supposed Rf is taken over any contract remains valid right to the end. Preparing the ground for another (WARP) investing ground like SOG already did?
Go home Modell and the like . You re alone with your thoughts.
Key board warrior now thats a first. I put forward a reasonable suggestion and ask that we see if there's away that the pi can take RF out the negative posters leave how that makes me have ball like pips im at a loss now I have 410k shares at an average of 56p so that makes me stupid or I have the balls to go all the way with this company Now im going to put 20k more in bringing my average down to 45p and thought there must be many like me averaging down but none of my further investment is going to the company So is there away we can club together and make our investment work for us and the company
When you think there is no more negative news, more comes. Tim needs to get on the media front and start boosting the confidence. Results should have been in by now
Still confused about your and you're. Oh dear, oh dear 😳

With nothing else in sight, it all depends on the results and with no news since the start, I guess that's good news. I like to remind myself that they know how good 1801 is performing, while we don't.
Model, stop been a pathetic keyboard warrior, I bet your balls are like pips, now run along as your becoming a bore.
Its not a rant its a fact so grow a pair start backing this or get out
None of your business what I do, to be frank, I’ve no interest in your big boy rants either.
Then sell up and get out
If can’t trust the board 100% then why would you throw in large sums, that’s due to the latest shenanigans
Its a shame there more on here looking at the negatives wish they would put there energy in to the positives
Well said Surfie....Modell is defo from that ever spouting nonsense camp
Oh and another thing with the few pence we have left let's all chip in and bail the company out. Brilliant idea Modell but I'm not to sure you will have many takers.
"Put up or shut up so many on here just talk this share down".
Ah, that will be why the S.P. has been down for the past two and a half years. Seriously you couldn't make it up!!
Is SDC-1801 still blocked from UK trials by the MHRA or was it eventually resolved?
And the consolidation, been absolutely hammered since then. BOD has either been strung along themselves on some ego/BS hype advice by PH and what the would achieve or they really have no business acumen whatsoever. Was looking really good before the consolidation, now looks like a dog's dinner being used to feed the leaches. I have been long term and hold till results/TO all along, however, wish I'd had better investing acumen myself to trade these when I should despite my overall goal. all we can hope is that results are great and we get bought out for something that has no resemblance to the current SP/MC.
That’s the million dollar question, why didn’t they.
To say money is tight I still can't get my head around why they want to chuck the money at pre-clinical / Pot anyone pre-clinical projects could that be to resolve previous issues on 1801 so to get approval for a P2a in the UK in the future? Or am I barking Mad
The WRAP raised 1.12m when they only required 300k the difference what we owe RF so they have the additional 800k sat in the bank and so far have chosen not to clear RF instead they are going to spend it on pre-clinical projects and potentially further pre-clinical studies on SDC-1802
Put up or shut up so many on here just talk this share down
