Disingenuous again RHOA/Puma/CoL/Whitesuitguy and your usual arrogance is on display.
You are overlooking the fact that we LTH’s here were buying this share by the millions when Sareum was last down at these levels. Same narrative and the sp went to 9p making a lot of people a lot of money. Where were you then? We also sliced very healthy amounts of money out at that level and, in my case, I continued to hold 9m shares which got consolidated etc: I have been adding since £2 was hit.
So all is good in the world of the LTH thank you. Once you have closed your short position and long gone I am optimistic that the sp will climb but in a more sustainable way and on the back of solid news. Quite happy adding here and some on here are clicking on to the fact that just under 30p is 100% profit. If it goes lower - fine. More shares and a lower 100% profit threshold. Are you getting it yet?
WILD GUESS !!!

Out in force as soon as Blue appears ..... working hard for your Boss's PORSCHE upgrade lads
My last post for the day but SAD unlike your daily top ups the amount of posters agreeing with you are getting less per day just like the S.P.
That would be great if it came just as the new ISA allowances come in. The current modus operandi of you shorters is to prevent or convince the rest of us not to buy. Fat chance of that I’m afraid.
Surfie61 l have been adding for weeks on a nigh daily basis. Smallish 15k shares yesterday at 16.13 hrs was my last addittion.
Just over doubled my holding here.
The price is ridiculously low for what we have in the pipeline.
That is my belief and why l continue to buy. A similar belief to others.
Regards
To be exact I am 96.78% down and invested on 01/02/22. So any further drops will not make a huge difference to me because my initial investment of £10,000 is now £322.05. I can't predict where this will end but I am fairly confident that on current form with no data results and a financing issue this could go a LOT lower yet. If you need a number how about 5p? Let's see who is correct as the days tick by.
No spin Surfie, just cheap shares on offer. I do not give financial advice and neither should you. I don't believe you hold any shares for the record. My purchases are all individually laid out on a spreadsheet so that I know when I profit on a particular transaction. As with shorters here, making money is the objective. For the record though seeing as you are keen to quote negative percentages. Where do you see the sp in 4 months time? Genuine question.
''Where is the support from our Government when we need it?''
Where it usually is...no where to be seen! 🤔🤨
Laz, your best bit of advice was yesterday when you stated “don't take investment advice from me”. If lets say you bought a month ago this would have to double now to get your money back. I just don't get why people (like you) are throwing their money away here. I am 96% down and it gets worse each day. This company could go down a lot further still. To me it makes no difference but to put more money in and watch it go down further just doesn't make sense however you spin it.
I have been contemplating what could happen here in the next 3 months with this dire funding situation whilst waiting for results and I am torn at the moment as to whether we are going to get through this.
Thoughts:
1. We are waiting for results in H1 24 for P1 but we are struggling for funds... is the struggle for funding going to cause a delay in results (are we fully paid up to date for the results?) and if so, we can wave goodbye to what we have left.
Sareum aren't the best at meeting their date deadlines and I can see this funding issue having a snowball effect on dates and an announcement being made about delays to results.
2. Are we expecting our half-year report, like last year, or is it being held off so the results are published within that RNS?
Hopefully it is released and has an upbeat tone to the release (I won't hold my breath) - which, with good results, should see a bit of claim but one that is restricted due to the funding struggles currently sat above our head.
If it isn't released, I suspect my theory for my first point will realise.
3. As much as I am hoping for this share to materialise, I think reality is that without any source of income and the struggles for funding - we really are in a terrible position. Any annual update is going to continue showing losses and the market doesn't like seeing those sort of financials especially with a company that can't find funds to fill the gaps that the losses are causing.
We are close but I think close isn't good enough unfortunately.
Even more annoying that my holding was at 5 figures once upon a time and is now sat at 3 figures - with the loss in an ISA, I can't even use it!
Are you giving me financial advice, Bull? You don't want to do that, you could lose your fancy paid member badge.
You are providing liquidity for the sellers....stop buying and if you still believe in the company, buy after the financing has been agreed.
Buying/selling at the bottom/top is impossible, however if there is a material event which is going to happen it would be silly to buy before it.
That's right Potnak, T & J will probably only know if there's been any major adverse effects. Since 1801 did well in the preclinical tox report, I doubt we'll see anything that would prevent 1b taking place.
The answer is pretty simple, Bull. The financing might not be an immediate problem if the target is to get to the 1a data readout. I think it's obvious that some negotiations are going on. That's why we have complete radio silence. I have been buying in small chunks since last Aug. I bought yesterday and will buy another 2 or 3 tranches this week. This way, if the SP does keep falling, then, I keep averaging down. If I could predict the bottom, I would buy then but as it stands, any piece of good news will see the SP rise and it might 2 or 3 bag in an instant.
I doubt anyone has been adding, anyone buying before financing news is throwing their money away. IF they can get financing it will be in the low single figures.
Not even RiverFort are prepared to lend them funds, which tells you how desperate the situation has become.
Oh Dear - Surfie has a new recruit. Surfie, I will say this once more. I have been topping up. Entirely up to you whether you believe it of course. Thats end of topic for me. Time to tell whoever you lackey for that the tide is about to turn.
Nooooooo... don't point out the S.P. has been dropping for weeks (actually months) BullorBears not when SOG and Lazarus would have us believe they have been adding for weeks themselves! You couldn't make it up could you?
Why? The company has no money, wait until they announce a placing or how they plan to raise funding.
The SP has been dropping from months, it will continue to drop until the financing terms have been agreed.
Thanks, HBD, That's how I understood it but wasn't sure so didn't comment. So if double-blinded then Tim and John won't know until the data is available?
Accepting you can't use discount to NAV or similar measures as a way of assessing SAR, there must be a way of valuing the opportunity. 3 or 4 years ago, the market cap was c. £200m, so effectively the market was saying there's a 20% chance of SAR being worth £1bn if the trials went well. That feels about right to me - a 1 in 5 chance of striking it rich. I suspect most LTH's invested on a similar basis having assessed the risks. However, despite only positive news in terms of progress with the current trial, the market has now discounted our chances of hitting the big time by 99%. How on earth are fledgling biotech's supposed to thrive (or even survive) in this environment? Where is the support from our Government when we need it?
Hi Potnak - as far as I'm aware both 1a & 1b are double blinded so the doctors handing out the medication don't know if the patient is getting a placebo or the real drug. Only a couple of people at the dispensary will know what they are handing to the doctor. It's only once the trial is complete that the results become unblinded and they know who took what. That way there can be no influence on the patient or doctor i.e. they've given some pills to a patient who then begins to feel unwell but they won't know if it's down to 1801 or some placebo effect until the trial is over.
As far as placebos go, the mind can play many tricks on our body. Studies have shown the colour of a pill has an impact on efficacy e.g. people respond better to red pills over yellow pills and 2 pills must surely be better than 1 pill etc. An injection is perceived to be more potent than a pill and so on. There are also studies that have shown that even when someone knows they are taking a placebo, they feel it has a positive impact.
Cheers SOG but what happens in p1b that blind?
Good morning Potnak.
I am pretty sure that Tim and Co have a good idea how phase 1a is going.
However, they cannot release any info regarding until all date is analysed.
Follow ups on trial volunteers will add some time.
Tim an Co can be confident of good results, that is about as close as you will get in an indication.
Pleased l have added considerably over past week or so.
Regards
I don't know enough about the P1 Study to comment but, I'm not sure Tim can say anything other than topline results. Chances are they won't know how the trial is going\gone until the data is released. for a P1 tox study, no news is good news. For the dosing study, the devil will be in the detail and no one will see that until it's ready to be published. But the fact that the SAD\MAD dosing is continuing should give us hope that P1a is good, how good, who knows?
Thanks Potnak- points well taken.
However I was unaware of the terminology and surely it behoves our CEO to report progress or otherwise to shareholders in understandable layman's language rather than dressing it up in technical jargon which, in my case and probably many others, led to a misunderstanding?
