I suggest a little research will let you find the percentage of planes run by rr , currently within the commercial sector 13,000 planes .
Since when has RR power 80% of all planes in the sky?
The miserable messages being posted on here gives me a giggle , airline industry on its ass as we know , testing will commence and boom we can start off again with the fact that 80% of planes in the sky are powered by rr , which in turn makes great profits in monitoring these with out making new engines. So leave it out the airline industry cannot have rr go through end of simples
again - if long-haul civil aviation restarts in earnest, I'll accept the logic that RR might re-rate. RR does not own any part of CFM/IAE/PW (which powers all popular narrowbody types) and thus short-haul civil aviation wouldn't do much to improve their balance sheet. In fact, the retirement of 747s/757s/767s armed with RB211 (and them being older planes that need more servicing on the older engines) might imperil things as well.
No one can doubt the quality of this company however the pandemic is making the rules of which no one including the board of RR can control.
Larkin. I am extremely happy because I am watching the arse drop out of this before I buy.
NT to buy most of the times now... 75 about to go...
Flight will start... planes will fly... How would people travel to different countries??? once vaccination at Airports starts more people will be flying... people want to fly but no flights ...that will soon change ... but this price want be here once we get next news about testing at AIRPORTS...
Larkin. I am extremely happy because I am watching the arse drop out of this before I buy.
More like 232 ... 70 was the Bottom.. once break 75 back to BLUE
If not happy sell and go... this is buy ...
Did that yesterday thanks very much! If youre recommending a buy then at least put forward a reason for that.... Not saying you are wrong, but you should be looking at the fundamentals of the company. I recall the same kind of chat about HMV whilst I sat there and shorted it into the ground. Great British Company.....Much to established to fail.....Holds a special place in everyone's heart.... These are emotional ties and not reasons to buy.
could do 32p
I had a nice 20% earner from trading RR yesterday morning. I’ve bought back in again now. Content to hold but will also trade if it bounces again.
I’m also Looking to buy again/more once the dust settles. It’s RR!
This dropped to 72 and then went above 100... could happen again as MARKET is BLUE...buy-sell your choice...
If not happy sell and go... this is buy ....
"So why the heck is down 30% from yesterday"
Probably the same reason its down from £7 in February.......Global Pandemic, Nobody flying, lack of confidence, no new orders. Yesterday was down to volatility - It happens during RI's If you scroll back on your charts a few years - exactly the same thing happened to RBS share price when they did their RI. The real question is - Why you seem to be buying, ramping, misinforming etc when youre asking such basic questions as the one above!
magmanus, you seem to be speaking from a position of fear, and not belief. And honestly, I'm worried for your mental state.
Even the rampiest people on BBs don't sound anywhere near like you.
News was out early Oct about rights, and yesterday was high as 1.10p? and now down over 30%? so going dirt cheap. Understand the value in grand scheme of things.
Not selling a single share, only buying and once all in - will hold until the cos come home. expect more TR1s and update from RR following over subscription of the rights. Read RNS.
So why the heck is down 30% from yesterday, meaning we have 50% upside by default? well
sometimes, people de-ramp to buy - once positions taken - it usually zooms up. a little piatence will go long way here.
After all your buying RR. Not any crap on AIM
its not under valued its pretty much where it was pre RI - The rise in SP to £2+ had already factored in the additional capital the RI would raise. If you can explain why you consider the SP to be undervalued then share some insight as the rest of the investment world seems to be missing your point magmanus.
mkr down for 2 days in the row and giving cheap shares on RR. That's why you are getting a steal here. Buy and relax - you will be glad you did.
rights issue or not - it is under valued now by 1/3rd - try to get that around you heads. lol. I am impressed with the level of knowledge here.
Good for Goldman Sach good for us all.
Presumably youre in good form because you are now up???
My maths is pretty good but if as you say you put £50K in yesterday - I wouldnt be crowing if I was you.
If you admit that your strategy involves catching falling knives then Id be impressed.
again, most followed and bought stock since yesterday. On top. Very good to see.
