"The new £1.18 million award from the Fund backs collaboration to identify and advance the optimum technologies for a fission nuclear system, benefitting both UK and US space nuclear development programmes for a range of space power missions.
Rolls-Royce is collaborating with US firm BWXT Advanced Technologies LLC (BWXT) to deliver this phase of development, which has been cemented in a Teaming Agreement between the two companies."
The contract only worth $1 million? Is it a typo? Could it be $1 billion? $1 million is smaller than a peanut, lol😂 😂😂
Retirement-plan, guys like you amaze me,.
How is it possible to think so negatively?
Is the Delta 767 powered by Rolls-Royce engines, if not why are you commenting?
If yes, then do you seriously think the share will retract on Monday?
Rycey went up nearly 4% in New York yesterday as you know, so they weren't bothered by the Delta information.
Last weekend, the half empty guys like yourself were predicting a regional war in the Middle East, outright war between Iran and Israel, WW3 et al.
What happened, nada!!.
Me, I'm predicting an increase in Rolls-Royce on Monday, if you disagree, open a short position and let's see how much you lose!.
Seriously mate, learn to chill out and keep your negative emotions in check or you'll never make any money.
Sounds like an operator maintenance problem to me

🗣Rolls-Royce awarded NASA Power Conversion Development Contract
🇬🇧Posted 26 April 2024🇬🇧
🗣Rolls-Royce has been awarded a $1 million contract to develop an Advanced Closed Brayton Cycle converter for NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio
Good find Rowaboat 👍
The 767 was 33 years old!
Suspect if the "none routine vibration" is due to a latent defect with the Rolls Royce engine it could be a concern. Doubtful but I we all know how things get mis-reported in press
Why should a issue with a Delta 767 cause RR any issues? it wasn't a engine blow out and even if it was in could have been GE, or PW
None… how is that an RR problem?
Wonder what impact that will have on the share price next week🙈
RonR The RR SP is tied very closely with the movement of Mr Market i.e. SP500 compares on the two charts as does twin engines on a plane they balance each other 😉
@ Drury, are you perhaps confusing CGT with stamp duty on same day trades?
Drury, why would you think day traders avoid paying CGT?
CGT allowance isn't soley related to shares but in any case it's an annual allowance so it doesn't matter if you exceed the gain in 364 days or 364 minutes, once the gain is realised.
So therefore, day trading is just trading, why would you think differently?
Forgive my lack of experience re selling shares (I’ve only ever bought RR over the last 20 years) how do day traders avoid paying CGT?
I hope so. I topped up half this years ISA yesterday at circa 405. It's always psychologically difficult to do as the rest of my RR holding averages 150, so 405 still 'feels' expensive. But I'm sure RR has long legs so hopefully its the right thing to do.
Have a nice weekend ladies and gentleman!
But is still down on the end of March close at 426.7, even with a fantastic order but deliveries don't start until 2027, so can't see present pricing holding. I want to be wrong, but sadly the sp has been bubbling along all month seems it's not sure where it wants to go. Damn day traders must be making a fortune with all the fluctuations
The share price has risen up by 6.5% for this week as the closing price was £3.955 last Friday.
So, it has been a great week after all the ups and downs during the week.
Here friggging Here.
I can see 435p test coming for RR. Stock Markets back roaring ahead. RR has fantastic prospects. So why not head up to the share price highs of recent !
Yeah Robdude, that was a blinder of a finish that.
That wee + helped big time, so here it comes, coz you know you want it.... are you ready..
.......Whoop! Whoop!
You can add more t's to your ''Getttt in'' now Hawkdude.
