There has been a lot of white noise on here and X today.
Does it flow or not?
If so what are the rates of flow
Then you can move on to all the White Noise
On a discussion board the discussion isn't the white noise, surely? That's provided by people like yourself with nothing constructive to add.
Oily..your be gone at .25p..so no worries..
This is not a forecast. It is merely 'white noise' which Oily & others can safely ignore. On 14th March at the Proactive presentation, Paul mentioned the licence extension, a necessary precursor for Sandjetting, and that it was expected in 3 - 4 weeks. SJ equipment, team & CTU were all to be available by end April. He then announced on 1st May that the extension 'had been ratified', although no date was given for the event - it could have been weeks earlier. That announcement was 6 weeks after the Proactive presentation, so approval was a maximum of 2 or 3 weeks later than expected. This could mean that if we are to be told the plans for testing, it should be this week. Unless they have decided to screw up the casino players by starting already, which some of us would find very amusing.
They may start on MOU-4 for 2 reasons - lack of formation damage and further info on the Jurassic in order to fine tune MOU-5. However, priority will be given to the most likely source of the initial CNG - this is the shallow overpressured gas, including that behind the two layers of casing in MOU-3, which they have stated they can penetrate with SJ. In this respect I would think that they will also want to look at the potential of the upper part of MOU-1, which appeared to have biogenic gas over a column of several hundred metres. Finally, testing the MOU-Fan in at least two wells will give an indication of the volume of the largest potential reservoirs - MOU-3 is the monster here. Paul has suggested that this will be more gas than is needed for CNG, but volumetric results will nevertheless be needed to feed into the acquisition discussions. I do not expect any results until the conclusion of the testing - all data will need to be checked and integrated, and info from more than one well would be preferable for volumetric calculations. Everything will then need to be checked and approved by ONHYM, and given the potential importance, probably also approved at a higher level.
Neither white noise nor silence necessarily indicate inactivity.
I would like to think we are actively working SJ ops , or even nearly ready to commence. However precedence clearly has been set by our BOD, that for ALL forthcoming well operations, RNSs were released some weeks prior , giving estimated commencement date , overview of scopes and estimated length of operations etc. unless I have missed something, I can see no RNS advising this, so unless we receive one today, advising us, or imminently ( next week or so ) or they have decided to commence ops [ which are material sensitive news imo ) without an RNS, I would opine we are not anywhere near commencement of SJ ops. Would like to be proved wrong… strong buy .
I was thinking the same, its either started or due to be started in the next 16 days, just because there have been no anouncements doesnt mean things are progressing with sj equipment on site ready for use, this is obviously the biggy we are all waiting on,will it flow or do we need to redrill if poor flow. im sure a bit of dried mud will yeild to high pressure sand drilling its wall through metal caseings and then not able to drill through mud is a fairly low chance of failure, watching a water jet(sand in the water) cut through 10mm plate steel to make a complicated shape in 2 minutes right in front of your eyes or on tv is a site(and noise) to behold, when that would take me days to cut and file if done with a electric saw and powered hand tools. i know this is under ground but the principle is the same point it in the direction(s) you want and let it rip and turn up the pressure for more penitration/depth of hole horizontally from the well pipe/caseing into the gas bearing sand/rocks,i dont know what the limit is,but useing s.j. in various directions at different heights will give many opportunities to get to the gas, we know its there afterall.
In the 5th Feb RNS they indicated SV-101 should begin drilling MOU-5 by 31st May as contracted. Someone previously mentioned Chariot drills may take 2 weeks each so that would be end May.
The BoD has announced that Sandjet would occur after approval for No.4 amendment was received, we have this now.
They did not announce commencement of rigless testing PH.1 just the results.
Hence, I wonder if the aim is to complete Sandjet by late May/early June. Drill MOU-5 and allow rig to move to sound while results are analysed and evaluated for next steps.
Think it would be up PG Street to pull a rabbit out of the hat.
End of the day he will work to the timelines they can effect and little said here will change this.
