If I remember correctly, Bracco hold quite a few shares in POLX. How would they react to a buy out offer from one of the other big MRI manufacturers? I can't see them being happy about it tbh.
JMO
And we're forgetting the mri company with biggest foothold here.... bracco
Got to be increasing chances of a buy out I think. See it a lot in med device companies. But also partnerships... whichever mri bought it the others would be licensing off them but I'm thinking they're currently looking at it as professors rather than investors and wanting the world to share polarean technology... whatever I'd be happily bought today at 50p region.
Apeirogon, I think your valuation is on the right track, thanks for sharing, but don’t forget to add the value of the Gas Exchange.
IMO add £400 - 500m to your current prediction and you will be in the right ball park.
Exiting times ahead!
Thanks for that! Presumably these guys make the prototype and eventually Polx moves onto a bigger (Philips/GE) manufacturer.
Our clients at Polarean Imaging received FDA approval for their novel hyperpolarized MRI contrast agent, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Polarean came to Blur looking for a manufacturing partner that could transfer their design from small-run prototypes into a viable workflow for FDA submission and large-scale production. We worked together to understand their device, update documentation and design for manufacturing, and get them to FDA submission.
XENOVIEW™ (xenon Xe 129 hyperpolarized) represents a leap in current non-invasive lung imaging technologies, and we are excited to see how this technology impacts lives!
These are our manufacturers

The UK has 77 teaching hospitals and the US has over 1,000. 60-70 units is a fraction of the demand globally.
Who is contracted to build the machines ?
It feels like we have some many newslow lines potential and growing its just a question of what not when. May has been prolific so far and I think we're not finished yet
I would happy put good money on Boehringer Ingelheim being involved in the Polarean story somewhere along the line.
They are also the lead sponsor at ATS, in the booth right near Polarean.
Just a hunch though
Some news about a sponsor for the FDA gas exchange trial would be welcomed, a drug developer would make sense to me, that type of relationship would be mutually beneficial imo
Awesome Slick - things are moving here 👌
Lots of actively on LinkedIn today, brilliant to see!
A few very interesting comments on the GE and VIDA threads well worth a read!

Truly proud of our relationship with Susan Wood and the VIDA team. Looking forward to a number of meetings with the team and potential sponsors at the #ATS meeting in San Diego.
But I’d happily take your valuation Apeirogon that looks more realistic than where we’re currently at
I think they set the targets really low, I’m sure they expect to do much better but it’s always nice to write significantly better than market expectations when reporting the results
The strategy update talked of 60-70 systems in place by 2028 each doing 10 scans per week. That’s about 34k scans per year. Given that there are 250k Scintigraphy scans per year (a fraction of spiro 15m and CT 10m) the 34k number seems more than achievable.
That would produce about 10m profit per year. Multiple probably 30x for a fast growth business = $300m. Discounted to today at 15% p.a = $ 175m value = £139m.
Another example of crooked aim mms doing their best to present an alternative to confident buying so they get cheap shares for next leg up
A lot of buys been listed as sells or unknown today, I bought twice and both listed as sells, I like it when that happens because it feels like a real bargain, but it is misleading for anyone who is watching
Excellent find Turbo, what a start to the week we’re having, everyone wants to show their support for our technology

momentum building massively here!
If we officially partner with the other massive mri Company without exclusivity we are going to be in the pounds not pennies
Yes and he will have seen some tech in his time and him being convinced it will become a standard add on tech is an amazing statement and confirmation that leads me to believe that this could be the final part of the funding collaboration partnership
Great find JJ7 that’s very encouraging news, he looks perfectly placed to make things happen
