Looks like it's about to kick off again.

It appears that FCAS (future combat air system) has been abandoned. Hopefully that means less competition for GCAP (global combat air program, or the Tempest as the UK calls it) with it's RR engines if that goes ahead. Now we just have to wait and see if that gets abandoned too, due to funding and political issues.

A reasonable update considering the global headwinds at the moment. The part that caught my eye was the statement about RR SMR:-

'Both contracts have now entered the execution phase and will generate revenues and profits this year.'

Pretty much contradicts NTC's reasoning for a share price dip, so hopefully when this ME mess is resolved, one way or another, we can power on back to £14 and beyond.

A Swiss Airbus A330 with Trent 700 engines aborted takeoff from Delhi for a left hand engine failure. Only injuries were from the captain deciding to evacuate the aircraft by the emergency slides. No indication yet as to the nature or reason for the failure.

My only concern here is that you and others keep referring to CIQ and not ConnectedIQ. CIQ is a US company whom use agentic AI to orchestrate workflows across disparate systems (yes, I had to look that up) and I am concerned that PubX may be using them and not ConnectedIQ. May all be confusion linked to peoples 'lazyness' to say ConnectedIQ by shortening to CIQ. Andrew Mole refers to CIQ, not ConnectedIQ, again, is this just 'lazyness'? I'm not sure if CIQ.com is involved in the CTV space at all, and this may all be a bit of confusion on my part. Once again, Thanks Muck165 for your continual sleuthing.

RR is a UK company with a global customer base. I think about 50% of it employees are based outside of the UK.

Can someone explain what our relationship is exactly with pubmatic? I know Gfinity announced then as 'our newest data partner', but what does that exactly mean. Pubmatic make no mention of Gfinity anywhere I can see so how do we benefit?

The main problem here, as I see it, is that this could plunge in price or rocket in an instant depending on what happens with the orange buffoon and his merry men. Totally unpredictable. In or out are both a gamble. Only saving grace is that the companies fundamentals are still sound and globally air travel has not yet decreased too much, only regionally in the ME . Will this continue? Who knows.

Jeez Louise, we were down at £10.96 the other day and in a shade under 5 hours we were back at £12.24! All depends on when and what the fat man sings. I'm pretty sure that it's about as unpredictable as it ever could be and I'm seriously not sure as to whether its better to be in, and risk the falls, or out and miss the vertical rises.
