Well, by my reckoning, the share buyback is pretty much done. As of the 7 am RNS this morning, RR has purchased 106,291,417 at an average of 940.8083p. That’s £999,998,473.3 spent. Maybe they’ll spend the last £1526.7 today.

64,807,926 shares cancelled and 41,483,491shares held in treasury.

Airbus A330Neo is exclusively RR Trent 7000 and A350 is exclusively Trent XWB (84 or 97k depending on variant)

All narrow body Airbus are not RR engines.

As of 7am this morning, the RR share buyback was 95.29% complete. May even finish it by the end of the week, maybe?

Are they firm orders from Boeing or just options? Can’t see Tim Clark getting stuck in a contract that may possibly suffer more delays without an exit strategy.

That means their total order for the 777x family has now increased to 270 aircraft on order. Doesn’t bode well for a large AirbusA350-1000 order.

Emirates has placed an order for 65 Boeing 777x aircraft at the Dubai airshow.

As of 14th November 2025 they have purchased 98,850,196 shares at an average of 930.3129 pence (£919,616,125.0633). They hold 34,042,270 (£316,699,629.263) shares in treasury, and have therefore cancelled 64,807,926 (£602,916,415.80) shares.
