@Trello I don't believe the certification process will, or can be sped up. The certification test are becoming stricter and are set by outside of the company by aviation authorities (FAA, CAA, EASA etc). The core is 'based' on the Pearl core, but it won't be a Pearl core. Even if it was, you'd still have to do very rigorous testing to prove there were no negative interactions with any of the other parts. I would still think entry into service by the mid 2030's is possible, but only likely if no major redesigns are required all the testing goes very well with no unforeseen technical issues.

There has been talk of narrow body production being in Germany for a while now (months), after all, I believe all the IP rights are now held there thanks to Brexit.

I also don't think UK production facilities could actually cope with the expected volume of narrow and wide body engines unless facilities were expanded dramatically. Is this reality, or just Tufan heaping pressure on the government?

I suppose we have 5-10 years before this becomes a problem as narrow body doesn't exist yet and judging by the fact Tufan doesn't want to spend any money on development,m it may be longer.

They're not looking for £3bn, that's the cost Tufan's quoting for the narrow body project. They are looking for the government to fund £100-£200 million.

£200 mil won't last long in a development project, a single engine, doing a single test visit can burn through millions of pounds of jet A1 in quick time. Got to remember, at full power these beast can be gobbling up to circa 15,000-20,000 liters an hour.

Please correct me if I am wrong but, any trade time stamped after the close is only the time of the trade being registered and not the time the trade took place. It is therefore nearly impossible to actually tell whether it is a buy or sell. The website algo just assumes the closing price is the transaction price and therefore assigns it as a sell.

@kendalsc I would say it's nearly impossible to advise you on what to do as everyone's circumstances are vastly different. What is good for one may be disastrous for another. Maybe seek advice from a regulated and independent financial advisor who will take your personal circumstances, goals and plans into account and offer you options.

Be very careful with advice given on stock boards as this is unregulated and those giving advice often have less of a clue than you.
