Don’t think you can go really wrong with paragon, very well managed company and I see great dividends ahead I will add some more to this!
I keep adding small amounts, but the price keeps dropping. I am starting to wonder if the market knows something I don't! I think it is a well-run, profitable business. I think when the next set of results come out, they will resume the buybacks!
IRB H1 2024 expected
lower Capital req , enhanced return
Well,
UK Outlook Raised to Stable by Moody’s in Win for Sunak
S&P maintained its stable outlook on the UK
No it’s not, hopefully. chance to add more here
EY upgraded UK GDP forecast. Too many people are pessimistic on UK, oversold imo
Under 580p seems undervalued indeed.
Definitely a gift at the moment! Picked up a few more. Let's just hope this isn't the start of a full-blown banking crisis!
anything under 580 is a gift....
Hi All, the divi is looking really good for PAG. Anyone have an buying and selling say 11,000 shares in one deal at live bid/ask? Thanks
https://www.hl.co.uk/investment-services/active-savings/fixed?
Paragon is at the top of 1 year fixed interest at 4.2% aer if anybody's interested.
However, you only have half an hour to put some money in!
Another bank showing the way in terms of increased profitability.
that was a fantastic set of results
Hate to be pessimistic, and I like Paragon - but the deteriorating economic conditions will almost certainly now mean a faltering housing market and energy costs will hit businesses and likely increase unemployment, despite the current 'noise' being about domestic consumers.
Paragon has certain defensive properties (interest rate & rent increases etc) but it will be hard work against the external grain.
Moved up 3p so far today, It must have been very disappointing to see the fall in price yesterday , after such a tremendous effort has been put in by all the Staff under very difficult conditions , to give such good results . I still consider this share as a buy , and long term hold. Well done.
Anyone know why the price has plummeted today , after such good results yesterday , I am baffled . Down 5.71% or 32.50p
Ticking up more Today ,hoping for more of a rise Today ,while watching gdr to see if any news is released ahead of next week
this going to be one of shares going to watch hoping for a nice rise here Today
This sp should be over 500p , even after the divi payment. It has strong residuals, better and expanding market in mortgage debt! It should be around 520p by March?
As predicted, £5 per share to be hit by the end of 2020 or maybe by close of play tomorrow !
All banks to start recovery now.
BUY.
back to pre covid levels now.
The share price has some momentum now along with other banking stocks. Expecting the run to continue up to next results due on 3rd December and beyond. Could hit £5 by the year end.
A little director buying but otherwise all is quiet. Until next trading update
