Another bad day for a traditional British Company , not many businesses left in British hands , and a Company that has always been held in high regard. It was a sad time when Tate and Lyle shut its Liverpool factory on Love Lane and threw a very loyal workforce out of work. The site is now a car sales showroom selling foreign cars. We should have stood our ground and continued with cane sugar .I was a long term holder , and when senior management changed for the worse in my opinion , I jumped ship . Next one to go is probably Premier Foods , which is profitable and doing well , share price too low.

Which Board Director decided to only stock and sell white eggs to cut their carbon foot print . That must have taken some deep thinking , Some hens naturally lay only brown eggs . Is this discrimination !

I agree the share price drop has been an over reaction. Is this being driven down for a reason , as far as I can see their Christmas sales appear to be good . Price really is too low for such a diversified business .

I was very upset when I was told my account was being transferred to International Investor . I had been with Jarvis for many years , and lived down in Kent close to Tunbridge Wells and had a good relationship with them. To this day I cannot understand why they got rid of their share trading , it was so simple to trade with , by 'phone or online.

Did anyone else see the programme on television last night about the launch of Terry's Chocolate Baileys . Where were the directors ,I thought the whole thing totally amateur ..Let's hope the public buys this product as our shares are collapsing dramatically.

Drove past Woodvale Airport on Merseyside yesterday and the site huts have been delivered , so new builds will start very soon , a few hundred new houses .

The biggest mistake was to allow Cities to become traffic free , streets now pedestrian only along with bicycles. The banks including Lloyds have abandoned the High Streets , and to be honest most people went into town to go to the bank , and with shops closing , and on line banking the City centres are doomed. Shoplifting is rife , drugs and the stench of cannabis is dreadful , we are becoming a nation that is totally out of control , run by a moronic government with no morals. The only person who can save us , and is intelligent ,a rare commodity in politics is Kemi .

Why the drop today , the results are good and am pleased with progress . A Board of Directors who know what they are doing , and focused .

We can only build houses if people can afford to buy them , and as stated the estate agents, building societies and the dreaded stamp duty are putting prospective buyers off. This along with a totally insane Labour party , causing many companies to close down , does not give anyone faith in their future employment status . More companies and businesses have closed on Merseyside over the past few weeks. We have even lost our famous tea shop on Bold Street , " Leaf " , heart broken !!! . Only good news is that Baby Leaf on Castle Street to continue.

Yesterday I lost more in one day than I have ever lost before , well over £10000 down on what can be described as good stocks. |These morons have got to go , never mind taxing us out of existence , we are at the stage where we will have nothing to tax. Words fail me , when I look at the state of our Country , now even squeaky clean Badenoch is accused of telling lies on her C.V. Is anyone left who is truthful in this once Great Britain. I dread todays share prices.

We could buy back at half the price we got for it , now there's a thought . Not many would be in the market to buy .Only problem there are too many coffee shops on the High Streets now , and raw material prices are very volatile and very dependant on climate problems. Be interesting to see how this plays out

£500 deposited , got £241.29 and return of £258.71 . So basically the same as everyone else . If it goes , at least we have only lost half of our cash!
