The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
If we had anything worth while it would have materialised a long time ago . If there was anything with great promise the big boys would have bought us out. They have had a very nice life style provided by suckers like us putting our hard earned money into their bottomless pit.
This must be the most useless shower of so called scientists we have ever bought into , for years we have been told that it is on the cusp of something great , and for years nothing has ever materialised that has become merchantable , very sad , but as with the rest of us , we all live in hope !
The way things are going , with higher wage rates per hour , we are pricing ourselves out of the global market , and economy will stagnate . I expect the only way out for the useless politicians whether Cons or Labs is to devalue the pound . Will not affect them with their bullet proof salaries awarded for destroying the economy , nor their gold plated pensions.
Interesting to note that Booths Supermarkets are getting rid of their self service check outs , as the customers do not want them , and do not like to use them. Personally I too prefer to go to a person on the till . Our Tesco has the same situation , as invariably the bar codes do not work on certain items, especially frozen goods , and an Assistant has to come to the rescue. Well done Booths.
At least they are making some money out of this money pit . Time these shysters retired , and we put younger higher qualified people in charge of the business . We want cancer cures through hard work , and long hours , not people swanning off around the World on jollies . I am a very long term share holder , and disappointed with performance.
I think you got it right with "is a British band headquartered in London " , unfortunately as a Group they will never make it into the top ten , and would be booed off the stage at The Cavern . They need a good clear out of wasters at the top , and open some bank branches again . I am a very disappointed investor in this lot.
tesco should look at the major fire at luton airport , and find out if it was started by an electric car . irrespective of this , it should make sure the charging points they are installing are shielded with fire ******ant walls and far enough away from buildings and entrances to stop spread of fire if the worst happens.
Has the fire been started by an electric car ? The intensity of the fire and rapid spread looks highly likely batteries are involved. I could not afford one, but if I could I would not park it in my garage which is under bedroom four in my house. I have a classic car from 1959 in the garage , and the 6 volt battery is disconnected because I am frightened of fire.
So who thinks the major fire has been started with an electric car , apart from me ? This is going to cost the insurance companies a small fortune with all the cars destroyed and building collapsed , not to mention the flights diverted or cancelled. I have seen an electric car on fire on motorway , terrifying , you cannot put the damn things out.
Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston , pre second World War , was TWO HOURS FIFTY MINUTES . This was carried out with good old reliable steam engines . I am quite happy with a journey taking about 3 hours to London , and I am sure most travellers from Manchester are quite happy with under 3 hours to London . Whilst travelling you now have a lap top , a mobile phone and are in constant reach of people you need to talk to . HS2 has always been a massively expensive unneeded big boys toy . Get the train at 0630 , and in the Board Room at 10.00 , what's the problem.
Instead of the infighting nonsense posted on this website , perhaps we should hold the Directors of this shambles of a Company to account . Year after year nothing happens except the share price falls or more worthless shares issued. The Company should be put up for sale to the highest bidder if we could find anyone to take it on.
We should get the Chinese to build the damned railway , it would be completed in quick time , and at half the cost . Too much money has been spent on excessive wage rates , objections , planning nonsense ,and so called consultants with their " my fee will be" . Just get on with it , it is only sleepers , and railway line , should be able to lay at least two miles a day ! If not the Chinese , maybe Hornby could scale up their layouts to full size . But seriously what a bloody disaster , which is making us the laughing stock of the World.
I agree with you, I saw Starmer on Television yesterday morning with Laura K , and basically he is a book of empty pages . He kept on repeating the same boring statements over and over again , in other words nothing . A typical useless politician .My opinion is that he really is thick and dangerous. I don't know how Laura kept her cool with him answering none of her questions. Did he get paid for the non interview , and if so how much ?
