ScaredieCat,
Earlier you said "The £20 billion tender which Microgen won with 145 others was awarded on 2 Nov 2020. So whatever portion Microgen got, was already built into the current sp."
then you said "The tender has been awarded to Microgen and Primer but we just don't know how much of the £3B they will get as there's no indication of how the money will be divided"
How can it be priced in if it's unknown, you're all over the place.
Trying to catch up on Today's events, which in the main sounds very positive, however confused about the following item: https://twitter.com/AdrianSulisz/status/1383473115137642516/photo/1
Is this a wind up?
@SC,
Don't recall ever accusing anyone of being a shorter ever !!!
Check all my posts because as far as I'm aware it's not even a term I have ever used in my life.
The rest of your comments are so pathetic, they are not worthy of a reply.
I will expect an apology if you can't come up with evidence regards your main accusations .
troublesome,
After this reply, I'm going to treat you as Lockedandloaded did when you accused him of being a shorter too, which was to ignore you completely.
In fact, I've lost count of how many people you have accused of being a shorter (basically anyone who doesn't sing from YOUR hymn sheet. So, which one of us is paranoid?
This is not Mao's China or Stalin's Russia where anyone that doesn't toe the line has to be punished. People need to talk frankly without you accusing them of being mentally unstable or a shorter or both.
In fact, I've noticed that half of your posts are critiques of other people's posts, either correcting their typos or mocking them or accusing them of being ... (see above). At least, most people know the difference between 'whose' and who's.
You know what they say about critics - those who can't write, paint, act or come up with an original idea, become critics.
Finally, how insecure does a person have to be to put 'LOL' at the end of his own (very unfunny) jokes?
But as soon as the dhsc were on board it shot up.
I think cv19 is sticking around but i dont reckon it will be enough for any company to sustain themseles off. However, ncyt i reckon have the basis to build something big. May take years.
I am sorry to.all those who lost money. I lost 2 k but it was only papaer mondy cos i got inn early. Having saif that, i gonna srick around at least til xmas. I reckon cv19 is just part of what will make this company. Sorry for spelling mistakes. At the pub. Bloody freazing!
Gla dyor
Good time to buy i reckon. I have been in this share since jan 2020 off the back of a upday article (annoucing english/french company develops test for covid 19). At this time nobody took the covid thing seriously. People in the staff room were just saying its just a cold, and this and that (im a TA). But i decided to invest 200 quid.
Around march, just before the lock down i was in the pub and was watching the price got to 210. I was amaized! I was folling this board which had some regulars but 95% have dissapered. Ramlers and derampers. Back then it was all about the company getting FDA approval. That was considered by most to be boom time. It did come. But it took ages. During this time of waiting the lock doe kickex in and the sp went to around 5.10.
I could have sold here but i i didnt. I know bugger all about investing, trading, etc but when i see a company might have something going on i get on board. Of i think they have potential to make money of the babsis of my rudimentle understanding of currnent affairs then i stay in.
Stay in i did.
What the sp struggle
I’m not even reading scars or cats last ramble a tee reading the first few lower down. Saying awarded November but we never heard and built in Sp? That’s the weakest de ramp I’ve ever heard. It’s obviously bullshxt. So I’d you say you are invested and you think that is true you are a fxcking idiot also. Binned. What a tool.
@SC
If you click on the II tab you will see they have been increasing their position - look at the green Up arrows. They are spread across multiple funds.
The morning star data is not that accurate anyhow, a number that i know holding are not showing on the list.
Anyhow, you invest or short as you see fit, its of no concern to me.
I'm adding that's my call
au revoir
@ScaredieCat,
Who are 1/2 of the people and Porkys mates ?
The CEO is the biggest deramper yet there are so many unknowns here that nothing seems to have more than a temporary relief - from what ? I'm not sure how many fellow Novacytians have lost as much as you on paper either ?
Hope you are in a sound mental state as some of your comments sound a bit paranoid.
If the stress of the present situation is too much for you, it may be wise to take a break from the board and return when you are able to see things more clearly - ATB
Porky,
I truly wish that I had shorted this share instead of investing half of my savings in it. I don't know why you are so threatened by me. Almost half the people have filtered me because of you and your mates. And this share's biggest deramper is the CEO. Hardly anyone listens to me. I just don't like super-rampers who get people to BUY BUY BUY without producing any factual basis (supported by evidence) for them to do so.
I commended you when you stopped super-ramping and went out of my way to reconcile you with VanV.
I do think that the latest news will get the sp up just like the launch of Versalab did (from 710 to 755). But, for how longs?
I bought more shares at that time instead of selling as I had broken even. What happened after the temporary rise? The sp fell to 400.
There are so many unknowns here that nothing seems to have more than a temporary relief. So, today I remembered that someone had posted the total shareholding link once and that I had book-marked it. I looked to see what had the IIs and MMs done since then and was absolutely shocked at how much they had sold, even though you'd think they's buy give the current sp.
I'm not saying they wont buy from tomorrow but am taking nothing for granted. If you don't want to take any notice of this link, then please ignore the link and filter me by all means. I try to help my fellow Novacytians, especially those who lost huge amounts like me.
Hope that you'll come to see me as I am, and not as some people have portrayed me here because of their own agendas. I have never lied about this share, nor told anyone to sell. You should look back to my old posts when I was just as bullish as you, although I never told people to buy (except some of my friends who, luckily didn't listen to me). But, I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to all those who HELD here because of me constantly reminding them about the fundamentals, when they were down in the dumps.
I'm going to buy again when the MMs, especially BlackRock (which is still our biggest holder) starts buying again. I genuinely wish you all the best of luck.
@Saintsmith
100% - Once you follow the board for a while you can work it out. Annoying as money is made trading both long and short. I only play the long game myself. forewarned is forearmed
@Wilson63
With you all the way, Our time is coming again now, its going to start getting real interesting
Good luck to all genuine holders
Pork's
I’m with you there porky . The timid feline has made appearances here before trying to sow the seeds of doubt and disruption.
Normally just before a big rise in the share price .
There is a team working on de ramping this share and that’s a fact ;)
EXMEX, ok great that clears that up, thank you:)
The companies which have been successful in the tender are notified by the Authority . There is then a 10 day standstill period during which unsuccessful businesses can appeal ,after that the contract is signed within the next 20 day's and published. This would have all taken place before April 9th.
Porky9 I now have them green binned, but far more posts in a week relative to how many posts in their whole history, I'm surprised but you live and learn, however back on point we have something to look forward to be it Monday (that would be funny) or in the near future.
Correct me if I am wrong but once a contract is agreed with DHSC. Is there a 28 day cool off period before anything can be announced officially?
@Hydr31
No - I actually find it most odd that you would invest so much time de-ramping the stock ,12 negative posts in 24 hrs, when you apparently no longer have any vested interest.
No risk of you losing any money as you are not invested, so mission accomplished !!!
Equally no risk of you making any money either should the SP make a rapid recovery and based on the recent awards that's now looking highly likely
Good Luck...
@ScardieCat
Bit worried about your syndicate short for open on Monday?..
Could get expensive fairly quick hopefully
I'm adding for sure to further add to the buying pressure, this is a major turning point imo.
Good Luck
Porky- nothing of the sort. My clear agenda is to not lose more money here. I’m happy to invest here but I want sentiment to change before risking more capital.
If you want to talk agendas, look no further than those invested. You want the share price to go up to the moon and you can’t stand any view that isn’t on that narrative.
Position's on this National Microbiology Framework where awarded on April 9th , 30 day's after all those new jobs started to be advertised at Novacyt . There are 112 companies which have been awarded a place on this framework.
Big thank you to Larry for the link to the new three gene covid19 test , that will probably supercede the original test in any markets where there are variant's.
Apologies if I misunderstood.
CT - Bakky was only talking about qPCR assay, not SNPsig.
Yes thanks, Bakky, I wasn't aware of the competition.
Certainly the number of assays offering 100% detection of all variants has reduced now, (as FDA have been advising).
Indian authorities will surely be giving much attention to those assays offering 100% detection.
With a population that size and present rate of infection, I expect quite a number of variants from India in the coming months.
Badly, that just confirms that the performance of their assay is not affected by variants. Thats not the same as SNPSig.
Yourgene Health have developed a robust database monitoring and
laboratory workflow for viral strain development to complement the
Clarigene SARS-CoV-2 assay. This process allows us to be confident
that so far the performance of the Clarigene assay is not impacted
by any strains circulating at high levels in the population. The design
of the Clarigene assay relies not on amplification of the apparently
highly mutable S gene, but on the relatively more stable N and E
genes. Users can therefore be confident in the ongoing, long-term
ability of the assay to detect emerging SARS-CoV-2 strains.
Thanks for clarification everyone.....seems to be a couple of tenders at the moment, let's hope we get a good slice of the pie and just as important GM tells us via an rns!
