val - i was expecting a bit of a drop tbh..as anyone who holds outside an isa sells to crystalise a potential CGT loss to ofset against any profits in other shares.
i think give it a couple of days and there will be more buys in isas etc
Have to say, I really didnt think that we would get to the Isa and Sipp top up's tomorrow (6th) and still be low 200's... #luckyforsome :)
There is nothing to say that they are or are not talking to Bio, or indeed TaTa, until it is "rns - able" they wont say.... but, if they do? expect sp to re-act accordingly and many to get left behind, some to get burnt and the LTH in over a fiver a sporting chance to recover and hopefully make a few bob. #isthesilencegolden or not?
Johnny, I agree with you 100% - use this money for M&A will be the best option, but they haven't done nothing since the last report. Lack of communication with us Shareholders is killing any Loyalty investor. I noticed few good people disappear, they sold? They get frustrating or fed up with constantly ramp from someone?
If they were able to start buying back without informing the market then I'd have happily seen them scoop up a few million at £1.30 a share and reduce the free float but as the share price rises there are much better uses for the cash pile.
We want to see novacyt become a midcap company, to achieve that they are going to need this £100m cash and some.
Obelix, it would be financially imprudent to use any funds for a share buyback. The funds should be used for M&A activity that will broaden revenue streams, and not rely on an ever dwindling covid revenue base. Also, nothing will be done with the current cash pile until the DHSC dispute is resolved, again all imho.
Well it hasn't exactly set the EKF share price alight has it? In fact it's down about 15% since announcing the share buyback. A small cap diagnostics buying back its own shares appears aimless and ambitionless imo with no vision of how to grow into something much bigger.
Why they don't start to buy back their shares? They asked us twice and nothing happens.
Look at EKF Diagnostic, they asked and now they are doing.
Why not use the money they have in the account to make an acquisition? Buy back few shares? Getting frustrated with this new BOD... bring the old BOD please...
Well I'm expecting something through the pipeline on this either this week or next. Either the DHSC wants to settle in this years finances or maybe pushed into next to spread the load. Either way extremely confident now about this coming imminently.
ALL businesses need to test ALL staff daily. Send home staff testing positive to self isolate and expect all negative testees to be in work tomorrow!
is costing airlines miilions daily in compensating customers of failed flight bookings. It would surely be a saving if ALL staff were tested IN HOUSE, daily.
I treat any information published in the DM gutter rag with the same credibility as the Beano, complete sh1 t show of a publication
Thx MrM I was asking because I was wondering what messages Novacyt have in their possession from when Bethnall and Hand lock were desperately trying to source tests.
Hi Kaeren, I'm no expert but from looking at this it seems one might be able to get messages back - see https://www.fonedog.com/android-data-recovery/recover-old-whatsapp-messages.html. I know from year past that deleted PC files could be reinstated; a deletion on a hard disk was much like rubbing out the first letter of the title on the contents page of a book. Putting the letter back makes the index work again and you can then read the page in the book. Not always possible if someone has written all over the page in the book (or the hard disk if you get me).
As you are all aware there has been a spate of DHSC/govt phones lost and a lot of deleted WhatsApp messages. Can anyone confirm that once a WhatsApp message has been sent and read by the recipient that the message in question still exists on the recipient 's phone even if the sender subsequently deletes that message .Thx
Think this could go very well tye rest of this week.
Covid causing agro now everywhere.

Let’s hope today’s rise can sustain
No
I recall having a partner for our antigen test. we havent heard aboit that front for a while. Could it be Bio?
Too many people living too close together is a perfect environment for viruses to spread. China has zero chance of containing Covid's new highly infectious strain as they move into winter period. Next new Covid variants will start appearing here and Europe in the autumn along the same pattern as cold and flu variants now that everyone is fed up with lockdowns.
Air pollution?
Contributing factor?
Covid variants will start popping up all over the place now that the world has grown tired of population controls, thus giving the virus a perfect environment for mutation. Sad though it is, it will no doubt bring lots of new opportunities for companies like NCYT. Aimho Adyor!
The problem with China being like Russia, we never get the full and complete truth. There could be a huge more dangerous rise in infection across the whole of the country and we would never know. We get told what they like us to know.
Well China has finally lost all control of Covid 19 as it spreading like a wildfire across China and Shanghai goes into another lockdown of 26 million citizens....in a population that big there will be hundreds of millions of news infections within several weeks if the pattern in the rest of the world is repeated as we saw in the UK last week with 5million new cases...
