underhanded deals with Tory peers? what randox possibly do?
any tips anyone ???
Hi harchris...... 221 - 242....... - 10 +10...... Range.... Middle..... No news..... Its someones banker...... News needed...... Watching randox on tv... Big audiance... visibility... People may ask what do they do....
Ha I just meant after saying I was happy with the share price action it suddenly dropped 5%, recovering a bit now though.
As for the share price who knows but personally I expect at least a small rally prior to results (perhaps topping out around 300p) - if I was trading ncyt I would be looking to scale in soon.
Why do you say that Harchris? Do see the sp going down or up?
I did perhaps speak too soon about trading sideways until next week!

and vol today, are they stop loss searching? Can stop losses be seen? Genuine Q?
as sp doesnt seem warranted imo
My patience is waiting / hoping for the transfer to ISA to complete before they release the Krakan!
A lot more optimistic, as we still do not have conclusive updates on Bio's buy in, or indeed TaTa's involvement, which frankly, should have warranted an rns update, all buy itself, especially when they are being so "Nova" pro-active in the marketing PR etc?
imo dyor
Why not? The share price crashed mainly because DA pretty much stated they'd be little news until the full year results in which more of the strategy going forward will be shared - there is now much more expectation of substance from David after six months in the CEO role and with that comes a bit of anticipation for the update.
Add to that Nanopore's resolution and £50m payment from the DHSC and there's reason once again to be a bit more optimistic.
HarChris, previously we had rallies leading into results, not sure that happens anymore.
As spotted by Larry

Interestingly takes us into DA's biggest week as CEO imho.
I don't live in the past Surfie, I take it day by day. If what I see today signals better times ahead I'm happier than if what I see today signals bad times ahead. I don't set an impossible benchmark in which to compare everything with otherwise I'd be eternally depressed.
HarChris, you must be one of the very few "happy with the share price"!
What a strange comment from M0neyMan... the one thing novacyt doesn't struggle with is margin. Sure the margin won't be as big as when we sold millions of tests to the government in one fell swoop but on the whole we have better margins than 99% of AIM companies - in fact very few make any profit whatsoever.
As for the share price I'm rather happy with the share price action - if history is anything to go by this rallies into results about two weeks prior which would be from next week. A little more sideways trading then a move north next week is my thinking.
maybe he is related to baroness mone, who stiffed dhsc for 128 mil of crap ppe which she paid 46 mil for?
I think he's strayed onto the wrong board.
Agree there Wilson - from a recent post
"Historically (2018-2021), - ie throughout the pandemic, - NCYT have achieved a 60-70% gross margin, and I therefore don't see our gross margin eroding because our prices have dropped." - (Source 2018 - 2021 RNS's)
++++
The company insists on these high gross margins year in year out, so margins are achieved in times of need, (virus transmission high in communities / higher hospitalisation numbers), but prices not so competitive otherwise.
(Other pricing plans / contracts exist for WHO, NGO's etc.)
++++
IMO this approach would cause peeks in sales, but otherwise would allow as much stock piling as possible when demand was lower. The company stated it keeps high stock levels here:
30.09.2020 AGM video 25:00 mins - Anthony Dyer:
"We have chosen to invest heavily in building a strategic level of inventory because that allows us to respond rapidly to any demand anywhere in the world, so a selling point of ours is not only can we make significant amounts of this stock but we are also able to deliver quickly wherever need is identified."
Many purchasers would want a full shelf life for every assay purchased.
tHowever, here may be some purchasers who would not insist on a full shelf life,
a) provided the shelf life was not close to expired, and
b) might be available at a negotiated discount.
just to help Moany Man - does the figure of 87% help you jog your memory
Moneyman pse explain why you think the margin is "poor" my research says it's anything but....you have the floor.
I feel, is correct way, pointless hanging on all this time, to fall at last couple hurdles!
#patienceasalways
There is no boom. The other business was always doing okay but you need to look at their net profit not revs. Thats the worrying bit. Obviously people are pumping here but bod have form and its been poor and i doubt that will change.
You can sell products and have a great turnover but if your margin is poor, then you may as-well not bother. This bod i have come to realise are leeches.
Good morning Wilson, hope you are keeping well? Yes me and Dylan are still about, looking in everyday, waiting patiently for the day we can complete constructing of our tree house and reach our ninety eleven hundred pounds a share (but he's growing up now and thinks saying that amount was stoopid and something only a baby would say lol. He's still my baby even if he has just rolled his eyes at me lol!!) . What's our tongue twister to get our teeth into at breakfast? Sheaf Hearted, Ice Melter - hmm, we'll have a go. Take care and have a good day. We BOTH think there's much exciting news to come soon and we continue to wait patently like good boys! Have a great day.
Feel like coming into the new financial year, with new budgets is a good time to have cleaned up this dispute, so wouldn't bet against it.
Chart is begging for it so would tue in perfectly.
