What is that rns worth ….20p rise as at seems good news here anyway doesn’t always reflect in a good sp rise but bad news we seem to plummet… just saying gla
So every assay that the DHSC could conceivably have had a problem with has now passed their own self professed rigorous accreditation process. You can guarantee they were looking for ways to fail them.
Only the lfts left but they were developed well after the dispute was initiated.
In the absence of evidence of outright malfeasance by the company this is becoming farcical.
"James McCarthy, Acting Group CEO of Novacyt, commented:
"The approval of our COVID-19 3G test, our seventh product to be approved under the UK's CTDA legislation, reinforces the market-leading quality of our tests. We believe the ability of our COVID-19 3G test to simultaneously target three separate genes within SARS-CoV-2 provides a highly accurate option for detection. This latest approval ensures we are well-positioned with our consolidated COVID-19 portfolio for any potential future outbreaks and as we continue to focus on our wider diagnostic product offering as part of our growth strategy."
Infectious disease doctors may not be aware of fast strep tests.

Pros
Free refreshments, most of the colleagues are friendly and supportive
Cons
On site management are bumblers. Bad decision making, naive and basically awful. Some teams are incapable of performing a simple task but the clueless managers are blind to the blatantly obvious.
Advice to Management
Learn the business. Go on a course on how to manage........Either that or do the decent thing and leave.

So either the government gave us a contract then after tested our products and found them faulty , OR tested our products and gave us a contract even though they didn’t pass, Or gave us a contract without testing them but then found out afterwards they failed the test.
Either way I guess total incompetence comes to mind and it’s not Nova .
"A UKHSA statement said there were 851 cases of Group A Strep reported last week, compared to an average of 186 for the preceding years, almost four times as many as would normally be expected "
Clearly there is a need for testing all children presenting with fever coming into hospital . Novacyt have winterplex & Strep A Rapid LFT . A big contract on its way ?
Hi KT, several NHS hospitals were running pilot programmes using Novacyts NTP system (this used exsig direct) in July 2020 nine weeks before the main contract was awarded. From the rns 27/07/20
Extract from Han****s covid diaries concerning Baroness Mone
"Mr Han**** said further investigation revealed that the company she was representing had not won any contracts because it had not passed the rigorous validation tests."
Extraction from Times article.
"The government launched a £135 million breach of contract claim against Novacyt, which has hit its shares and profits and forced it into a large writedown of stock. The government has alleged Novacyt’s test failed its validation tests and had “poor sensitivity and false negatives”.
So the question is were tests put through the rigorous dhsc validation process prior to contracts being awarded? Seems the sensible way to go about business.
If so this means novacyts products must have passed as contracts were awarded.
Great working culture. Excellent communication between different departments. Forward thinking managers. Market leading research and development. Excellent company to work for . Competitive salary.

Buggered if I know
Would that be because our tests are crap KT ? Off to ponder that :)
why else would so many, be so keen, or be so negative & try to persuade pi’s to give up ?
#why?
why not? went to 13 quid which was way more than 40% and the perfect storm is now brewing!
wouldnt be surprised to see dhsc settle rather quickly, to endure Nova co-operate?
#400% coming again imo dyor

Guys and St Thomas Hospital using Genesig for covid testing.
@pck76, sorry I don't have a link. Can't find one either.
21 &mg, a journalist will always get in contact if they are writing an article where you feature. Is it possible that no-one at NCYT engaged with the journo last time, but did this time or even more scary could he have been encouraged to write this article. Lets go total wacky and ask, is it possible that there is now someone at NCYT that cares
Rns for another covid 19 test? Market won’t give a ****.
You can add a kid from Portsmouth to that list as well unfortunately, seems the issue with strep A is mainly in the south at the moment. Test the kids and treat the infected with antibiotics, it's easy enough to do. Government might get off it's @rse if the deaths get in to 3 figures.
Yes much better than his first article. Perhaps he took on board my comments when I wrote to him....look back at my posts if you want to see what I wrote.
Sir_digby do you have a link to that article? I remember reading it on this board but can’t find it anymore.
