I can understand to some degree the problems in getting Kou upto nameplate. What I can’t believe with Dan & his merry men is that in Yan they have turned a mine of 80k+ oz with Aisc of less than 1500usd & gold at 2300usd into a loss maker. Unforgivable and if Yan was producing as should be the probs at Kou would be blips .

Hate to be pessimistic but no news is generally bad news with Hum , think Q2 poor & they’re hoping July will show some progress to mask over it.

Opportunity for Nova !!!

This is a good outcome for both sides , the government look like they have won something out of it and Nova have secured their future.

Irrespective of whether the test were faulty or not this case was 50/50 and any outcome could have been possible. I think Nova accepting £5mill costs is a great option against losing the lot.The governments claim was greater in value than ours and even the most concrete looking cases are hard to prove in law ,especially contract law where a lot will depend on interpretation.

The big issue now is can the BoD’s use the cash pile we still have to turn this into a better future!!!!!!

In these cases I thought the judge would look over the main case of both sides and let them know prior to the case starting whether they should try to reach a settlement based on his opinion!!!!

If the case actually starts then they must both feel they have solid claims .

Failure rates of 10-25% they reckon !! Yet the Chinese crap they thrust on us had failure rates upto 70%.

What’s frustrating with this company is that with a much better PR & more under estimating they would still be in the same position production wise but the share price would be double. Punters would buy in on the expectation of future results rather than the constant knock backs. The price is where it is purely on Dan’s constant missed over stating production levels.

In Dan’s language 200k per year by mid 2024 means Kor want be fully running until mid 2024, factor in his usual over estimating and it’s likely that it will be early 2025 before that’s achieved.

Then factor in the Aisc that slower production will cause over that period and suddenly Hum are struggling with Kor.

Dan and his cronies have the great ability to turn optimism into pessimism in such a small period of time.

I cling onto the hope that even this BoD’s can’t be as incompetent as the Covid government. Also if they say our tests didn’t reach the accuracy required how the hell did we end up with billions of ££ worth of Chinese LFT .
