WBA ,
I don’t go along with that on the share options and they don’t give a toss.
It all comes down to the individuals and the company itself.
I was a director of a large company with plenty of share options. Lots of the staff had options as well and I only ever wanted to see our SP increasing , as did the staff.
Also the staff want to keep their jobs as probably so do the directors.
I’m in this for the long term but I guess result end of this month will tell us more about what direction the company are going in.
Testing in UK will decline markedly over the summer , however I'm sure worldwide it will continue for a while.
Testing will be with us for us years but obviously nowhere near current levels.
That's why it's vital for long term success of the company that they use the profits from this covid period wisely. The have to buy a bolt on addition that can diversify their product offering.
Maybe that's why the new CEO was brought in ??
PCR testing is increasing daily throughout the world , countries are struggling to get supplies. IF Novacyt are not selling every single test they produce then some very serious questions need to be asked.
Could be a clever ploy by Avacta basically saying , look we've got the best test there is but it doesn't meet specs , were pulling it for now so I would suggest all the other tests out there are checked.
When that's done and the others have been binned because they're useless our updated one will be ready!!!
Chinese test were not subject to the same process because they would fail and then the government would have been left in deeper ****e then they’re in now.
The whole covid Ppe & testing spend is a complete and utter shambolic process of lining the pockets of cronies.
The Chinese are laughing all the way to the bank because they are counting their profits in the billions from a pandemic they started.
The only reason that the government has dropped the required PCR test for travel to the UK is to free up capacity. There is a huge shortage of PCR tests and I have no doubt that Nova are selling all they can make.
Testing is going nowhere but up and we just need that RNS confirming sales.
Marik,
I did mean AS ,
For months I have been suggesting where the owner at BP can go . His initials are AL & now every time I type a capital a in computer it autos to AL .
I meant AS of course , just got over excited at the news??
3 cheers for AL -

Nova SP is dropping because the markets know as much as us , nothing!!!
No orders announced , no idea how many were selling and if we are then who too. On top of this we have an unsettled dispute.
Markets hate uncertainty and until Nova RNs what is going on then the SP will just stay in its current range .
The trouble with Aim stocks is most companies have little regard for their shareholders.
UK government should be charged with treason. Absolutely shat on UK companies that have tried to help whilst supported Chinese crap with billions of £ orders.
Trouble is by the time the truth comes out Boris & all his crooked cronies will be hibernating in their wealthy beach villas.
IF Nova are increasing sales via their current outlets or taken on a lot more sales via new labs / private testing companies then it wouldn’t need an rns .
Any significant new contracts etc would , so we could have a huge increase in sales without having to inform the market until the next regular update.
Although a good sales rns will shift us northwards until we get the DHSC farce sorted the SP won’t wonder too far from where we are.
Where's there's money there's corruption. When governments are involved it's deeper and most get away with it.
When all this covid contract farce finally gets out the money & the culprits are well gone.
Hopefully Novacyt use their cash pile wisely and build a better company for the future.
The problem with Ncyt is there are no significant large insti holders.
Therefore no pressure on the BoD’s and the reason why the agm struggled to get enough votes.
The SP went to £12 on the back of the covid testing frenzy and PI’s hoping to become millionaires. The DHSC fiasco obviously didn’t help but that aside the £12 price was unrealistic.
If the DHSC is resolved the price may get back up to somewhere around £5 but not before a lot have bailed out on the way.
Hopefully if the dispute is resolved they will use the money wisely to add a decent bolt on that can take the to the next level. Only when could we start thinking of getting anywhere near the £12 again.
Would doubt the new CEO will come in Monday and announce fantastic Q3 sales.
If it was me they would be watered down , lower base to start your leadership from.
Only way is up from there .
Amazing how PCR tests now giving false positives and LFT tests are giving better results than first thought.
Nothing to do with government change of travel plan criteria !!
Whilst pcr tests will no longer be needed for entering England a lot of people are probably not aware that all those booking holidays to Spain , Portugal etc will still need a pcr to enter these countries .
Not sure how much it will affect Nova re travel pcr tests but I don’t think it’s as much as people think.
Hope this is not a prelude to a poor update tomorrow !!!
Never good sign that ceo announces step down just before any news , assuming we are getting an update.
Surely with this news and Novacyt news we must kick that Chinese crap into touch.
Donate them all to 3rd world countries and see how eager they are to take them.
I seem to remember sometime last year there was talk of Novacyt losing the contract with the DHSC because they said the product wasn’t working.
It turned out that it was staff in the Norwich area not using it properly , Novacyt said at the time they would retrain the staff to use it correctly.
Could the dispute revolve around this problem !!!
Maybe the DHSC want a refund for all those machines supplied at the time.
DHSC say machines not working but Novacyt counter it was the NHS staff not using it correctly.
