Court cases are adjourned with the goal of ensuring fair and equal access to justice by all parties involved. Within this framework, there are numerous possible reasons you or your lawyers could submit an application for adjournment. Adjourned courts allow more time to:
collect new evidence or amend existing police ‘facts’;
assess and review the evidence to form a case;
seek legal representation or interpreters; or
request for charges to be withdrawn or arrange a private settlement.
I like the sound of option 4
Amers , if seen on mobile you'll be thrown out
of court.
Adjourned until 14.45, still discussing. I just told disc lot, we b happy with 135 ml
Perhaps both parties are outside of the court doing a deal, settlement upon the steps, it may still happen.
I m in the court & nothing happening at the moment
Thank you valju ....good cause ... The court case is needed to publicly clear and restore reputation ...
It’s public case & you can just walk in
Well it seems we are now in the hands of the judge...
£10 to RNLI will be done today... #abetsabet !
Pebble .you can just rock up.
You will need to go through security bit like airport security and they make you take a drink of any water you bring
It was clear from the pre trial review that both sides think they have a strong case
This will go the distance and the fact that it will then take time for the judgement makes me think this will be a pivotal case that the judge will want to get right...setting precedents
That is why I changed my mind to more 50-50 than I originally thought
I prefer their expert to ours..but there is one loophole that needs to be explored ..going on the research I have done on him
Gla
Can those who go please let us know if you can just walk in without prior agreement. The only week I might be able to go is the week commencing 24th June, apart from then I'm not in the country.
If one concedes, I think it can be halted, not sure if can just be stopped, unless evidence proves to be wrong or deceitful?
Anyway just as you get there, dhsc will have folded lol #fingersandtoescrossed lol
In these cases I thought the judge would look over the main case of both sides and let them know prior to the case starting whether they should try to reach a settlement based on his opinion!!!!
If the case actually starts then they must both feel they have solid claims .
It's gone to trial after all this time, there's a case to be heard from both sides so no Judge Jefford isn't going to come to an early conclusion like that.
We've been informed by Novacyt that it runs from 10th June to 4th July and they expect the court to reserve judgement so that shows it isn't cut and dry.
Question for investors with more knowledge, if the Judge thinks, that DHSC are talking lot CRA*P, can she stop the case in our favour?
Brilliant, thanks Amers!
I'm thinking to head up later in the week, possibly Thursday or Friday.
You deserve ur iwn title thread,,,do appreciate u going and keeping us all updated,,,,thank you
I b on the train at 09:30 and will inform everyone, if I understand any thing.
Im not giving up on a settlement until 10.01 lol #youneverknow
A neutral result that returns a small amount to Novacyt from the VAT and the share price will be well above a pound due to the major uncertainty and risk being behind them.
A win in full will be a major shock to the market. Only a few holders expect that, the wider market doesn’t whatsoever so we would see an absolute pile on over a number of trading days.
It will peak and then come down but that peak will almost certainly be above £2.
"Swag - £2+ is ludicrous. I don’t think any genuine holder thinks that."
With respect p100 that is rollox. I hold and could see that figure. bEing achieved. Harchris and Val are also holders and said it is possible..so that is 3 of us. I doubt we are the only ones
I don't think it is ludicrous at all.... It was back of a cigarette pack calculation based on the following
They sit at 67p with £36m in cash..
If they win and get £80m then looking at 3 x current sp..so around £2
You even posted later a possible spike to £2????? so not sure what you are on
Never saw the copy n paste?
Holdings are substantial and my biz…
Like some, on a positive, I will recoup investment and let rest ride!
On any other result, will stick in bottom draw and suck it up….
Not in a hurry, although would rather be out of aim!
3 holdings currently keep me here, until then….
Patience (mostly)
Val - I’ve said many times I know I’m not recovering my investment and am so far down I’m now just in for a roll of the dice on the dispute.
As for fictional, well I posted a copy paste of my holding the other day do you do you.
HC - you’re a sensible but £4? Don’t be silly. Novacyt have made a profit once in its listed history, purely down to covid. Don’t think YG was much different. A top end spike of £2
MAY happen if wr win outright but it’s a huge if, and it would lead to so much selling the drop would be swift after they
