Reminds me of what Carlsberg used to say in their adverts.
" If Novacyt did rollerr coasters................
Good weekend everyone. A long wait will soon be over. Looking forward to the next 3 weeks.
P100- you call Brown very crafty yet you call Torys all sorts of names!!!
Brown actually ruined the stockmarket with his crafty ploy and we havent recovered from it
I think Brown was very crafty with his pension fund raid. I used to do the accounting for the pension scheme for one of the major banks. Every month I filed a reclaim for dividend tax - that amounted to millions of pounds. I said at the time most people wouldn't realise how would affect them.
Don't forget £118 Billion raid on pensions dividends when Brown got in Office. Rinse and Repeat
Hi HarChris ...no because there are too many shares with no visible holders .who owns novacyt . ..
Hi HarChris . you'll find french shareholders are the majority ...because
It’s a French company in registry alone, how many staff actually live and work in France?
Really they are attempting to bankrupt one of the few diagnostics companies in a space that the government repeatedly claimed to be championing just a few years ago.
And bankrupting them over some very technical legalese rather than overt and conspicuous corporate abuse/malpractice.
Giz, I agree that the government want to go to trial . I see it as a similar situation I witnessed in a large ftse 100 company where my boss thought a trial was the best career option for him as he could move on in the meanwhile even though it was obvious we were certain to lose. He managed to do so and , of course we did lose and it cost us double the amount we could have settled for.
Giz..you make some valid points there unfortunately.
Thanglan, posh boy Kier demonstrated during the itv debate that he cannot think on his feet and frankly is a bit too slow witted to make a decent pm. Shame really because we need someone at least as smart [but not as rich] as Rishi to lead us.
P100, theft is irrelevant - its all about spending -40% of UK now on benefits or working in public sector -that needs paying for , and then there are the huge debt interest payments. The next labour government are in deep doo doo and after their 4 years of percieved failure we will likely lurch to reform out of desperation imv. Losing this election may look like a wise move in a few years time - we shall see.
Its in euros for some reason
Different, that 50k is a buy, according to my HL current sp value?
Ak_gabba, the Note left by Liam Byrne was NOT a long standing tradition....a rare truth from Labour.
The Toxic pair, Brown & Blair, had sold off UK Gold Reserves at a knock down price to the USA , Germans & Japs. They Sold off school playing fields to fund dole-payments...
Have we got a lot to look forward to with Posh-Boy, Keir & his mouthy Deputy?
The gov want to go to trial ....it's a win win in public opinion...gov fighting a french based company to retrieve taxpayers money ...a settlement without vindication of genesig clinical.... diagnostics to decide treatment course would have negative effects on Yourgene novacyts nipt test ....a choice of life or termination ...carefull folks a lot of investors will depart before trial and during ...riding the speculation .....if primerdesign UK ltd ...lose ...novacyt /yourgenes future as a lifestyle company will see a fundraise in 2 years .....genesig clinical is sound but not 100%....
It’s a wild ride between my pre dispute outcome prediction of 80p and PI100s 10p - just two days ago he was feeling all warm and fuzzy again as the share price fell and a win for him was once again looking possible :
‘ Nothing to say really, share is tanking back to closer to where I initially said it would pre dispute’
Back in my favour!
PI100 Thanks for posting and be happy today, as things could only get better. I almost 5k in profit....not rubbing salt in would, for the LTH, as all will come good for everyone
Still a long way to go before many people reach their averages, I know people who bought in £10+ but a step in the right direction.
For once I agree with you P100
Gov are bent as nine bob note
I thought the note being left was a long standing tradition along the lines of no money left or what a state its left n however it was made public for some kind of political gain.
Can you imagine the note being left on 5th of July :O
i have no idea whats going on at the hearing yesterday but obviously hope it's positive. if either party think their chances are poor or have diminished they may seek an out/settlement prior to the trail starting. i'd like to think the report that was submitted presumable on the 14th May was positive for ncyt :)
“The note” from the outgoing chancellor, that thing that everyone knows is a long standing tradition and joke.
As if there was no money left, have you seen how much the tories have stolen and given to their mates over 14 years? They’ve decimated public services to the bone, massively increased debt and raised the tax burden to the highest since the war, yet there is still ‘no money left’.
Theft, pure and simple.
This will be too embarrassing to go to trial - The UK Govt DHSC appears to be on the ropes and typically they have been stringing this out like Ariadne's ball of yarn. If settlement is reached this share price will explode upwards like that scene in Alien, exiting actor John Hurt's stomach at warp speed.
Now 72p paid - But may just be because no -one is selling before the trial. Having held on this long why would you?
