I don't understand why PM just doesn't take legal action and look into getting refund back from the government for this situation.
It's like you look for oil with your money and we will confiscate the land once you find it.
What a joke.
Legal action should be taken here for wasting company resources and time. Compensation should be given to PM as this is not really PMs problem that the government can't control the land which they allocated to PM at a cost.
Why can PC continue even after breaking environmental laws and PM can't even though they have spent millions in helping the locals .
MB cannot take a legal action because he was well aware of all these frauds and that is why he constantly lied to us about some kind of huge support that the Mongolian government provides to the company. That is why I realized that this is a swindler, because an honest person, first of all, would not constantly lie to us about non-existent support, but would long ago solve this issue in a variety of ways, including the threat of going to court for huge compensation.
Again: Speculation mode.
None of the posters on this board knows what's going on behind the scenes. Horror stories seem to be what everybody wants to hear - as far a they like to bash on PM and its mgmt.
I say: We investors are in a shi**y situation not knowing what is really going on. And I agree that at this point that no news appears to be bad news. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about it - but wait and see.

Surprisingly, some do not even understand that only crooks operate behind the scenes. And the mere fact that such a suspicion arises about something happening in secret already speaks precisely of a scam. An honest CEO will not hide the truth, much less deceive his investors for all the years in office.
Manro, respectfully, if you dislike MB so much and have so little faith in the share amd managemt , its very surprising that you continue to stay invested or why you bother to put so much energy into throwing blows at MB when you have absolutely zero idea what is actually going on either behind the scenes or actually.
You can't have it both ways so are you invested or just deramping.
I think we know the answer but you tend not to talk n fact.
Here is your chance

Thanks Dozz
It’s also worth mentioning that the land law package is still in its draft stage…. It will take many months of revision and discussion to upgrade it from its draft status, will be another 12 months before any vote ti approve imo painfully slow it’s taken 3 years just ti get ti this stage
Issues to be discussed:
Draft revision of the General Land Law and the submitted legal bills /Submitted by the Government on 17.06.2022, whether to discuss or continue/
Draft revision of the Law on Cadastre and accompanying drafts /Submitted by the Government on 17.06.2022, whether to consider it/

To present the opinions and conclusions of the Ad Hoc Review Committee, which is responsible for presenting proposals to the State Great Khural on the issue of the quality of human medicines, the production and supply of counterfeit and non-standard medicines in Mongolia, to improve the inspection of medicines in Mongolia, or to make the inspection activities more effective.
To listen to the answer to the question "About the activities of the Tannery Complex" addressed to the Prime Minister of Mongolia by B. Battumor, a member of the Great Khural of Mongolia.
The idea was while MG is messing around and working on land issues an special permit to be issued for MATD!
I don’t recall investing in any other stock where the CEO/mgt team are so quiet. The SP has virtually halved in two months, why not come out to at least try and defend the SP? They could learn a thing or two from POW.LN. RNS’s on an almost weekly basis and regular webinars from the CEO.
For the first time I’m now considering selling my admittedly tiny holding and putting the money to work elsewhere.
Can see this below 1p by year end, so much opposition to PM I can see this been a long drawn out legal battle that could go on for years
lambo - we have heard your view on the future share price a few times now, no need to repeat, it's boring!
""Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Petroleum Products /Submitted by the Government on November 29, 2021, first discussion/..."""
Would you say this is the draft law amendments which concern us directly?
Email, I think this may help answer your question, my take is this law you refer to is for the supply of petroleum products from other entities but I think once these governmental issues regarding land access are sorted then if and when PM start producing then it could have an effect on them. Will need Google translate to read the article. GLA

Interesting article. Mongolia have recently opened their new airport in UB, with the aim of becoming an international hub. The loan on this needs repaying and this can only be achieved if Mongolia can become energy independent and thus a cheap refuelling stop. Along with the refinery, Mongolia has bet heavily on becoming an oil producer. It won't be long before this political pressure resolves the land access issue.
@Jimithebrush.... thanks, interesting article ... I do agree with your assessment of it. Good luck!
As long as I understand the board hasn't been honest yet and will not be in the future. They treat shareholders as outsiders and never been level with us. Fact.
This happens for the simple reason - the vast majority of investors do not understand at all that they have some rights, not to mention that they are co-owners of the company. And if so, then who will reckon with the opinion of those who are not only unable to defend their rights, but even do not realize that have them.
Just like local people in the UK don’t want fracking companies to drill for oil, the Mongolian people don’t want oil companies such as matd drilling for oil on their land! The opposition is huge I very much doubt the government will go against the will of the people and the people say get out of our country your not pumping oil on our land!! As Iv said the best bet now is for matd to cut their losses and leave Mongolian imo and start again in a different country who actually allow oil production
Lambo are you serious? There is 5 people who don't want to extract the oil and thays hardly "huge"
Like any growing economy you are always going to have a vocal minority who try to drum up opposition to any form of development, normally funded by large not for profits with ulterior motives.
It's a sad fact of doing business in this "woke" world we live in.
The government wouldn't be spending 1 billion ++ to build a refinery for yak poo so, the reality is the country need MATD to be successful and producing oil asap to provide revenue, jobs, assist the local people and be a good corporate partner. It's quite clearly articulated in the Government's plan for the country and backed up by the money they are borrowing, to build an OIL REFINERY!
Keep trying though, it's entertaining whilst we wait for the license to be issued. Which will happen real soon and you and the lol brigade can crawl off to another board.
Best
