Thanks Dozz
Thanks for posting that news Dozzawba. Are you able to provide a link?
Ojay, the way I see it. If the SPC comes in the share price will shoot up. I have an alert ready for news. This means of course I won't catch the bottom price, but I do know that I will get in low enough to make a profit, as such news will be game changing. The share price may even rich that mythical 50p projection. I can also sleep easier whilst waiting.
I don't know if that makes me a chicken but if so, that's fine with me. I prefer to be a live chicken than a spit roasted dead duck.
I would rather buy back in at 10p with the SPC in place, than buy back in now, when we could face wipe out.
//the question of whether PM will still be around to supply that oil stock is moot//
Its a concern on two counts imo.
One is if PM runs out of cash and cant raise further funds
The second is that exoloitation licences contain a revocation clause. What if another company is more acceptable to appease the locals to get their "buy in" Then what?
Sadly I think its just the facts speaking for themselves.
PM need to issue a really good reassuring RNS right now!
Whatever happened to Fair Analyst ?
50p in H2
More likely 0.5p :/
//it is quite conceivable that PM will go down the tubes //
Sadly I have come to the conclusion that itcould. Anyone rememberwhat happened to Xcite energy? At the time allegedly the "safest play on AIM" ?
S0 Dozz. Maybe a CEO and senior management of more clearly Mongolian heritage who amplify the Petrovis parentage might help?
Been watching from the sides due to lack of news flow from anywhere.
My view is that Petrochina are too big for GOM to fek with but we aren't... so not granting us special licence is a performance to keep the locals vote.
I believe the GOM are happy to let the oil discovery sit there for now and that licences will only be granted once the refinery is up and running and then the oil will be earmarked for the refinery.
If Petro Matad collapses in the meantime it will be of no concern to GOM.
Really sorry to be coming to this conclusion and really hope im wrong.
Oil will be flowing one year.
Will petro matad still own the exploitation licence when it does?
Surely the big question, the elephant in the room, is IF the government is supportive then why hasn't it granted the special licence already?
Once granted then the answer is the share price will go up and even Fair Analyst's share price prediction might be correct. But bearing mind that a) these contracts have termination rights and land use rights revocation rights and c) that the local people and its local government have systematically refused to grant the licence, is that the reason the government hasn't (and won't?) grant the required licence?
Has anyone had any luck posting on the Dornod Govt FB page? I can't see anything?
I haven't posted for a while as Im out of this share.. Personally I don't believe the licence will be issued this year. I'm also concerned why the government hasn't issued it. Why not? Watching from the sidelines ready to jump back in on good news about the licence.
Yes. Thanks for the link. It beggars belief that this person has been able to do shut the road for a week. What a weak country that allows such one person to do so much damage!
Why so much joy at posting such predictions if you are shareholders? Really odd to say the least!
Sorry Manro - TLDR
lambo222 "H1 isn’t coming this year unless they sort the land access issue and get a contractor… they havnt achieved this in the last 12 months so not sure why you think they will achieve it within the next 4 months before the winter weather closes in…"
.... because the legislation to alter the need for land access from local got IS GOING THROUGH PARLIAMENT RIGHT NOW!!
Also if you've been keeping up with the programme you'd know that the government is scrutinising the current PSA contracts and will be reporting imminentnly on whether any amendments are required/desired.
NONE of the above was going to be settled before this end of June mandatory RNS.
Oil tankers on the move again!
I doubt Mike is quaking in his boots that you are posting on here Manro ;)
