This will go up
So what if CEO is not great
Its the product that matters
Another pompus i know better... zzzz
Invested, wish i wasnt, but there you go.
I have several hundred thousand POG shares ypu can invest in if you like.. fundamentals and all that.. build build build.. lol. Yes, check in in 2026. Owl turd will still be at it and the shares will still be under 5p
Thornogson - lovely post at 10.13.
Really does put everything with PM in prespective.
Cheers
Because so many investors here prefer not to see his obvious discrepancy for the position and for some reason continue to believe that he can achieve something serious and even enrich them. Isn't it clear that such a completely worthless CEO is imitating violent activity just for to be at a good feeding and will live off investors as long as he will be allowed by hosts who have appointed him? A worthy leader, would never started to lie so frankly about the huge support from MG but at the same time continue to be unlicensed and unable to start production for 5th year. The sooner he gets away from this position, the sooner it will be possible to get PM and investors out of the hole into which this rogue drove everyone.
"The question has to be why the CEO is now intimating that the formalities are gonna take longer than the special permit itself took. It doesn't make sense."
I think he's managing our expectations. He probably pokes his head in here now and again and sees a Wise Owl telling everyone it's all guaranteed and due "any day now"!
Correction...
We do have permission to extract oil.. An exploitation License.
We also have land designated as Special Purpose.
Justified as being of national importance.
We only have formalities to conclude and we have the national land agency pushing this along.
We have a two week workover needed to start pumping oil which does not get blocked by the Mongolian winter. We have all materials needed in country. We have the mining ministry seemingly onside with our development plan.
The question has to be why the CEO is now intimating that the formalities are gonna take longer than the special permit itself took. It doesn't make sense.
//If it hits 10p then it's only a matter of time until it hits 50p. By which I mean 1 to 3 years.//
Maybe 10 to 30 years? This IS Mongolia after all!
BTW - all these price predictions - has it been determined how much PM will get PB for the oil it eventually supplies to the refinery (assuming that happens in my lifetime).
Mikec365 - I think a P/E of 10x is optimistic. The FTSE 100 is trading at 10x.
The likes of Barclays which is making £5bn yearly is trading at just 4.5x. I think for a microcap AIM oil stock I'd be assuming 5x at best for any calculations. Again, anything more is a bonus and would probably signify it's overvalued, unless of course there is something else on the horizon and earnings are anticipated to skyrocket.
Interviews like this are probably planned. So MB knew the questions hé would get and probably helped prepare them.?
So i think it is odd hé did not take the chance to give comfort on the cash balance ledt and no equity raise needed.
Missed opportunity? Did hé forget? Or deliberate as hé is contemplating one? I do not know the answer but would not be surprised if it would be the latter @ 3p? Could be seen as positive after raise at 2.5 earlier.
Thanks for your kind words. Very judgemental of a stranger. I appreciated MBs update. Not much more he can do, it's a patience game, that's life in a frontier country with new processes and regulations.
I don't care about short term volatility I am accumulating a position as I think there is remarkable value in this share. I bought more today and will probably buy again. My average price for three days has me in profit on these purchases now. My average price is below 3.
The very simple question is why people with no shares care what I do and why you follow a share and bag out CEO because he isn't running to your imaginary timeline.
Yawn...... it really is boring check back in a couple of weeks
People who invest do so on fundamentals. This share is dramatically undervalued and will provide significant share price appreciation to those that ride the bumps into production and or a takeover at a big premium.
Have a good weekend. One day closer to production.
If it gets to 10p it'll have got there for a reason.
I suspect it'll be a bit 'all or nothing'.
When news arrives that Heron has the go ahead the price will jump, then move on and finally appreciate significantly.
We've always said that Heron was the key to Petro Matad's future, for the oil and income that it'll generate and because it'll buy other fields, wells and then renewables.
If it hits 10p then it's only a matter of time until it hits 50p. By which I mean 1 to 3 years.
You're probably right in the best of all possible worlds! I think many PIs here would sell up at 7p and almost all at 10p.
currently, with no permission to extract oil and a ceo bent on self destructing the company, i would sell the ***s and pocket the proceeds
My previous post got removed on my take on this interview which is a shame. All I can say is that the best non fishy explanation for doing it was to manage expectation in the knowledge a delay was coming without releasing an RNS which would have been even worse.
And this is velocoraptor.. is the type of unbridled moron this board is full of.
2 scenarios..
1st - in a sea of buys and sells, you managed to buy at the price everyone else was selling at. A good 10% less than everyone else
2nd - you managed it, but spent around £7000 more than you could have this morning and maybe £5000 more than now.
Hardly a that was me winking scenario either way.. no wonder owls turds get so many likes
The SP moved up yesterday on no news, was it being pumped ahead of releasing the interview?
50p would be good and could happen
trying to work out an exit price target on these (back of a *** packet calculation). say average life of well is 20 years, based on 60,000,000 barrels@$40 profit, so $120,000,000 profit per year just on heron. say net profit is 50% of that so $60,000,000. value company on pe of 10 so around $600,000,000 about £500,000 a year so about 50p per share just on heron. please correct me if i am wrong ?
He had to stop hiding behind the sofa eventually. LOL
I think he felt pressured by the shareholders to do something, when nothing would have been better!
I truly couldn't imagine any disclosure or update being possible unless it was good news. And yet, there it was. A big blob of nothing. Another statement of "frustration" and "delays". Exactly what no one wanted to hear.
740 "Who'd be a small cap plc CEO? He's welcome to it."
Me for one money for old rope
Doc "We do seem to have the MG on our side"
I'm not sure we do. Nothing but obstacles placed in our way one excuse after another . Beggars belief
Because he looks in here occasionally and sees shareholders constantly complaining about his communication, or lack of it, probably has similar in his inbox, so thought "I know, I'll communicate." So now the he's drowning in "why did he do it."
Who'd be a small cap plc CEO? He's welcome to it.
Huge volumes of transactions, as you would expect after such a weak interview yesterday by MB.
Price still holding above 4p, which is amazing good really.
A lot of de-risking and rebalancing of portfolios and we will wait to see what happens after the frenzy is over.
Or 6 years.....
