Petro Matad receiving some ramblings from the Mongolian FB protester. Something must have rattled her cage. Could it be the Land Permit?
Mongolian Government desperate to be non-reliant on Russian oil.
Big times could be on the way after the shutdown fro Covid.
So what does this Canadian consultant say to the Mongolian government? Give MB access to the land, so that he would take up his direct duties and stop being an empty talker, traveling and parasitizing on his money?
Obviously something has rattled their cage as i understand they have been fairly quiet for a few weeks now or have we just not heard about them. Maybe their some news on the way before Xmas rather after.
Cashrules - thanks. And thank goodness for the translation option!
This adviser reference. Its something to do with (the real) Richard Bowlby who is an adviser to the Mongolian government I think. Interestingly she also posts aroynd 6 days ago how someone has contacted her saying she is "Richard's wife" and wanted to meet with her.... most strange!!!
Bowley (not Bowlby)
The rattling might be a good news that LP is being granted soon.
The question is how high the share price will go?
20p or 50p!
Amazing opportunity if you can see it.
Mr Bowley looks like a well connected person. Hopefully he is part of the solution and not part of the problem…
I see from his LinkedIn profile someone on here has already contacted him directly…
Wonder what the news was….Anyone here was it..?
I have a feeling this has a lot pent up energy behind it because of the time it has taken to get any news (once we have it). My feeling is that the true market cap figures will initially be smashed with a share price that is ridiculous and would then settle down to a basic market cap that will move gradually with each bit of news. With 20p we have a current market cap of £180m and 50p at £450m, that third part report suggest 29p to 43p when oil was $55 a barrel and the exchange was probably around $1.35 to the pound now it is $1.25 to the pound. and barrel of oil around $80 and climbing. And that is without velociraptor yes in time 50p could be a real possibility but at the beginning it could fly to 50p before settling back Personally i would like to try get out at one of the high points early on and then try get back in later on for a few when it settles back down. But like always will probably miss all the points along the way.
PV we all have our own opinions, but think you are wrong to question Bowley's credibility.
I said I have been in contact with Bowley for weeks, actually it's months. Bowley confirmed to me on Oct 30th that his wife had contacted the FB Activist to try and engage with her.
44 days later the FB Activist posted about the wife of Richard had contacted her. Her husband who is a shareholder of Matad and advises the Mongolian government. Think that says it all to me about Richard Bowley's credibility.
As I said I want this to come good for all shareholders. I have been in touch with everyone regards the issuing of the LP. Matad's Brokers, consultants the UK Ambassador Philip Malone. Mongolian MP's who are on Twitter. I follow every Mongolian news outlet on Twitter and FB.
If people can't read between the lines of what has been happening here then they are blind. Corruption on a huge scale happening at the moment ref coal theft. 12 days of public protests, big announcement in parliament tomorrow. People in high positions are going to be called out. Laws changed this week in parliament ref corruption. If convicted up to 20 years imprisonment and banned from working in public life. With all this going on regards coal fraud. Think about it. Matad discover oil - millions of points worth of revenue for Matad and more important the Mongolian government. 3 years down the line and still no LP. Why not. It makes sense, great for Matad, government and the locals in Dornod province. Who in government is holding this back. Someone who wants a pay out, more corrupt politicians. The Mongolian government are trying to sort out the coal theft corruption and they need to. They won't want further corruption down the line within the oil industry.
So imo I expect the LP to be granted in January before close of the Autumn Parliamentary Session.
Dozzawba, the FB protester relayed back that she was contacted by someone, claiming to be the wife of Richard, a shareholder in MATD and advisor the Govt.
That doesn't prove anything at all.
We know bribery is rife in Mongolia (and many other nations).
However, we don't know that's the specific issue regarding the LP, even though it may be.
People may agree or disagree with my own assessment of the investment but my reasoning is transparent and can be independently verified accordingly.
I always ask people to do so.
As soon as we start ascribing insider or privileged info to any individual posting, that BB then really does become the 'Wild West' of information dissemination & analysis.
We saw the dangers of that with the previous in country poster, Spanish.
Although I agree with you re: the LP issuance likely in Jan, we'll have to (respectfully) disagree on the issue of posters presuming or claiming to have insider info.
It's makes for a very dangerous environment, where info cant be independently corroborated and leaves the BB open to abuse.
Hope that clarifies my position.
Regards
Let's move on guys. It is very difficult to get any quote! Something is happening.
Hope we can break4p soon.
Agree Hamm. I will stick with what I believe. I do not disagree with PV in his factual posts only his query ref Bowley who I am actually pleased we have on board. Yep we move on
Hopefully 4p before Xmas and LP in Jan and we can all also move on
Oh look, the bitterprophet is back. Only here to try and make people as miserable as he is, after he sold at a loss! Said he wasn't going to post on here again......guess he can't do anything rite......
Ha thats all you can pick up on, wow you really are grasping at straws now! Can't actually deny what i said, so pick up on spelling/gramma, always a sign that you're losing an argument
Again, no real argument from bitterprophet as he has no actual knowledge or facts. Hes just here to try and make everyone else as miserable as he is. But luckily for the rest of us smart investors, we are still here and watching our investments go up
Same as last year:
No LP (and even if obtained still eco-warriors to contend with)
No agreement with DQE
Possible (20%) wildcat drill
Burning cash.
If you don't like the message shoot the messenger n'est pas.
Yeah nice try, but i didnt report your posts, but i guess you're good at jumping the gun and making incorrect statements!
BTW: There's a French phrase which goes:
"N'est-ce pas" which means "isn't it?" or "right?"
I guess that's what b/p was attempting to refer to. "n'est pas" (as quoted by b/p in his post @10.10 today) means nothing.
Not trying to be picky here - just making sure that grammer is correct.
