It could even go to 20% if Labour is cheap and panels are bought at good price.
Average cost of 500w panel in the UK around £100 some even less.
I wouldn’t know where to start with working out ROI on the renewables stuff. We just don’t have any information yet. But many major markets trade around 10x earnings. As this would effectively be government backed, it’s probably about fair.
But I reckon that is way off. All that matters for now is getting this damned permission/signature and getting on with Heron. Anything else is a bonus. But I likely would hold onto a few shares to see how it all plays out.

// am I right in expressing my opinion that between March and end of April 2024 we should be starting oil production at Heron 1//
Yes indeed that is the HOPE. However, even if H1 production is as estimated, after costs/fees/taxes it will yield barely enough revenue to keep the lights on. More wells will need to be drilled with associated costs & +/- chances of success to ensure profitability.
The only difference is Bad. Your not wasting millions on wild cat drills.
So plus side there.
I'm sure PM has spent over $100m over the years chasing wildcats.
I am an infrequent commenter on this bulletin board but am I right in expressing my opinion that between March and end of April 2024 we should be starting oil production at Heron 1? Looking forward to your thoughts?

//From.my calculation you get 10% ROI from Solar in Mongolia//
So it's 10 years before you start to make any profit?
From my calculations to produce 1mw of electricity from Solar should cost £1m to set up. That 1MW PH.
It requires 2000sqm for 1MW .
From.my calculation you get 10% ROI from Solar in Mongolia
Mr BP
Mongolia called possibility of "New Saudi Arabia" so where to build new refinery? Lots of new oil block so think Govt, India investment, Engineers have better knowledge to decide where to build.
Think you little bit impatient to want so big rise straight away. Think most of us investor want to see STEADY RISE over coming days & weeks.
When RNS release official then maybe you will see some very big Institution investors come in. Until this time take opportunity if you want or not.
I am happy with new CONFIDENCE for GOOD REASON and STEADY price rise.
Focus on investment not daily price move 🦉

With a very encouraging RNS (despite the LP not yet being signed off) and huge positivity on this BB, the bid SP hasn't really threatened 4p. Who seriously believes that this will be a multi-bagger even from this abysmally low level? Do owls live in cloud cuckoo land?
PS. Why didn't they build the refinery closer to the oil?
Yes WOS, this could be a matter of days I reckon.
FOMO is kicking.
Massive rerate and opportunity which shouldn't be missed.
Mr Hamm he also say - "The mechanics of the transfer have taken some time for the Government to determine but we expect this to go through SOON!"
🦉
Will see Mr Wigster and no one really know what happen on day BUT lot of investor will see understand this -
- All issue agreed, money in bank & wait for transfer so RNS can come any day now with company expecting this.
- People now start to take longer hold with CONFIDENCE / UPTREND in place
This is why situation not like before with so much uncertainty which suit trader but now more certainty come for RNS, Operations, Production, Revenue which suit more commited hold investor.
Also what work AGAINST us before with low volume / hard move will work FOR us now - just like rise from same 3p to 35p in 6 week that happen before (this is example not forecast).
Like then with upside many multiple of buy price now people will not want to get left behind! 🦉
Chief Executive Officer Mike Buck said: "On the land issue, we feel that we are almost there, but we will keep pushing until the process is complete. In the absence of any recent precedents, every step has been something new for the government which has caused delays. We will certainly be ready to operate at the end of the winter stand down when we expect the long running saga of land access to be fully resolved."
Oil is over $80.
Sentiment positive.
FOMO.
Multi bagger guys.
Hopefully by the time we get land access approval we get to 9p+.
Don't miss this big opportunity.
This is what people also maybe do not understand and what I say for months - Mongolia have global biggest RENEWABLE potential & massive user market next door in China.
In Dec 2022 RNS it say they explore this and identified "highly experienced and well connected" potential partner - no JV at this point.
This is where I say mr Mike Buck is genius with company GROWTH strategy so with research did not have problem for extra fund raise after to make JV happen.
Say again will be MASSIVE for company / shareholder but will focus on very near term Production base RNSs now 🦉
Hamm, I can see this dropping back slightly today and carrying on slowly downwards until we get the next RNS. I do of course hope you're right and I'm wrong...you could well be, as we did hit 7p+ in May on nothing more than anticipation. Either way, this weeks' RNS was extremely welcome to calm the nerves, and hopefully the "big one" really isn't too far off now...
All IMHO. ATB & GLALTH.
I can see why Mongolia has solar/wind potential too from that photo.
What else could you do there?
This should have been 6p. Very cheap. Let's see if we cross 4p today.
Massive rerate definitely.
That's an interesting find....

This just posted on gogo.mn on FB
Thank you mr Dozzaeba 🦉
Header say all - some speculation what if this? What if that? I focus on MAIN point which is what really push price.
Company set now to go from EXPLORER to PRODUCER in 2024!
Last time this year we did not even have Cabinet Approval just EL and non RNS comment from Minister.
Now we have mechanism in place & explain with all condition satisfy, money in accts & transfer we can expect very soon/RNS.
This will lead to MULTIPLE RNSs as part of process for Operation start in March /April.
Some try to second guess this / that - no problem your money - buy or not and no force or guilt.
I look at MAIN point with focus on INVESTMENT in my timeframe. Think lot of other also start to take longer position with UPTREND we can expect as company move to first Production / Revenue.
Just like we suffer with drop on low volume now we look forward with CONFIDENCE with this work in our favour as part of uptrend.
My focus always on Investment Main Known points 🦉
Keep that type of info coming WOS, it's very much appreciated
Interview today by Hans Taka, Representative of Eurooean Bank of Reconstruction & Develooment in Mongolia - about large scale power transmission / distribution network with export to neighbouring countries.
Also last week Bank of Mongolia announce increase finance for renewable energy projects -( source Bloomberg.mn)
Petro Matad have position themself at just right time with high level Govt contact for projects / available finance options / separate revenue stream to from oil operations
Will focus on near term Oil production but important to understand how strong Petro Matad are position in exploding / well finance sector 🦉
Ah, so you did! Great minds and all that…
