Bloomers, is that all you have left, scare tactics?
The latest YouGov polling suggests the Tories might end up with just 13 MPs, and four of them would be Grant Shapps.
COVID is like flu except you aren't forced to bed, was out running on the third day. Wasn't worth trashing western democracy for really was it?
Sticky you think a 300 labour seat majority of closet commies will be good for Britain. Expect the lights to go out roughly in 2030 as these lunatics push for the impossible net zero cobblers, then when they've failed at that they'll doubtless start raiding large private pensions/ISAs. That's what commie filth does, steal, steal steal then blame the problems they've created on everyone else.
..interested in this data in particular this week..the ECB decision to lower rates is very 50/50 now.... "FRANKFURT, May 31 (Reuters) - Euro zone inflation rose in May, data showed on Friday, in a sign the European Central Bank still faces a slow and uncertain journey to reach its goal of fully reining in prices.
The bigger-than-expected increase in inflation was unlikely to stop the ECB from lowering borrowing costs from a record high next week, but may cement the case for a pause in July and a slower pace of interest rate reductions in the coming months."...........As always the US employment data this week is interesting.......Away on holiday atm till the end of june gla & atb.
@Chid
The LSE site is full of the same comments. This bb has nothing to offer the pi. In respect of information that may help them make decisions.
It is called the โstock marketโ because it is exactly that. A market. Prices determined by supply and demand.
Same applies to the published prices. The red or blue is only relevant if it determined at the moment of the transaction but as we know that information is delayed.
These fools allow the brokers to buy and sell at a price that suits their task. As in Lloy case, average price being paid for buying the shares is .51
Anyone selling at todayโs price imo is crazy. The fundamentals (this time round) say the demand is greater than the supply
Is it me? As I am constantly amazed by long standing posters, who seem perfectly sensible in every other respect, except when it come to the daily 'buys and sells' and come up time and time again with comments such as " Generally a lot lot more buys than sells " etc.
Where do they think the 'buyers' are getting their shares from, if there were to be 'fewer' sellers?
Every buyer needs a seller, and visa versa.
Or am I misunderstanding this.
IF I am correct, then what 'is' the point of listing buys and sells IF they are always equal?
Perhaps the unpopular but wise Lti, could enlighten me (us) in the usual cutting way?
Tories predicted to get just 66 seats and labour to have a majority of 300.
Popcorn anyone?
Great day for the DOW,
Good chance the FTSE will follow on Monday,
Gonna be a long sleepless weekend for Fakey!!

Brixton, we were about to send out a rescue party.
Welcome back!
Covid is uncomfortable. Lasts about 6 days noticeably with the 2 middle days very much so ๐
Noted many big mega buys always after the market closed a big ยฃ50m buy again today. Generally a lot lot more buys than sells hopefully we will soon get our breakout to the upside.. also good to see some banks like Barclays is sitting on a 52 week high. So again hopefully Lloyds will be looking to follow the trend to the upside..
It's where the money is going that counts.
โLatest figures from the Bank of England today show that households squirrelled away ยฃ11.7billion into tax-free ISAs in April, almost certainly mostly in the frenzy up to midnight on April 5, the highest for any month since records began in 1999.โ
If it comes about, how long before the eye of the new regime at the Treasury and the debut Rachel Reeves Budget this autumn gets their hands on some of it?
Nothing will be safe.
