Todays RNS showing Oryx have been busy regarding their shares. I really am a novice here, so can someone tell me if they have purchased MORE or SOLD their recent acquisition? TIA
Looks like the ride is over .. unfortunately, for the time being. Still feel this is still undervalued.
very nice.
by the looks of it :)
hellooo !
in taking this up :)
Seems to be liked so far..some monster trades around.
Thank you Hawkshead, good to know.
Oryx int growth fund are a group of fund managers who invest in companies that offer good prospects for their clients in the future. If they are impressed then lake house must be doing something right. These people are not fools I think they know a good thing when they see it, as do many of the contributors to this board.
Who / what or are Oryx Int? Help please, is their share purchase a positive sign and why? TIA
a week today..oryx international increased there stake.
Interesting that oryx int growth fund have bought 4m shares in lake house giving them 5m shares in total. Must be something good on the horizon?
Think your right Johnny. Things I DO KNOW is that Bob Holt is making an impact and I suppose is implementing positive change. And the Smart Metering is going forward with the Company ready to push on. Agree this could be a good time, if the price reflects, to top up. GLA
yes this was mentioned in the trading update but I didn't notice it said Notice of Results. All companies have a year end but not many publish results at the year end. Normally its a few weeks after - if I m not mistaken. So whats changed? We know that it will take a lot to turn the business round, but there's a plan and an allegedly competent leader at the helm with am excellent incentive to do so not forgetting his consultancy fees. So sit back, relax watch this get pushed down to 20p and top up perhaps?
Is today, 30th, trading update figures released??
Today's release is disappointing. Bad debt remains a problem with it seems no apparent plan of dealing with it. Smart metering contract(s) is positive as are further contract renewals. Bob Holt sounds positive but the update consolidates my view that this is a long term hold position. The sp is still, I'm, way too low. Sad but not totally unexpected.
Thanks bud! Was thinking the same, genuinely no idea what to make. See the case you've outlined, but not inspired by prior updates on Lake. Ironically, I tried to trade few million shares (day trade) and was told my order can't be fulfilled, because of it's size, SP went up 5% day later. Will continue to watch.
unknown other than the Prelims in Dec. - suspect we might get a trading update in September. It's not too much to expect after all the upheaval and the disappointing SP. - If this dips below 25p again its a screaming buy imo
Think I might have asked before, but LSE financial diary doesn't have it. Do you guys know the date for the next update?
have been hinted at in the last update that the previous management team made. It was reported that the company have strong relationships with the large utility companies. The installation may be up to individual customers if they own their properties, or it could selected out of convenience by social housing customers/ private landlords.
I think that's a good summary Johnnyd. Do you know/think smart metering is coming. I agree it seems logical that it should be included but surely that is a decision for the customer to make, and included in the bid writing etc etc.
Apart from the sad news about Mr. Rawlings, all seems to be proceeding to plan. The underperforming Directors have left and the business is on a better footing. Im not sure Holt would accept the role if he wasn't confident of turning things around. With a credible plan/leaders 50p - just over half the float price, should be achievable. Now for some smart metre installation contracts and a better trading up date next month?
That's a fair comment. Will continue to watch and keey an eye out for the next update and see how the divisions of Lakehouse are getting on. GL
I totally agree with you, SP has over reacted with no announcement however they believe the share prices are under valued so it could be a reason why they bumped it up. Currently their target is 50 by the end of this year. Please do remember, the higher it goes, the harder it could drop.
