Lol, touchy crowd here. Just a simple observation, I stand by what I said. Otherwise don't give rat's arz about this.
So, having read what is a fantastic RNS, you pick out a change to the final product that will give us 'materially' higher selling prices and basically trash the Co. I take it you aren't a shareholder here. This is a great RNS for a company with a tiny current valuation. You really do talk allthatguff.
All That Guff - Possibly the most ignorant comment on this board for months. We have all had issues with the company over the years, but if this is all you have to say in response to a very positive RNS then you are clearly a grudge bearer. Nothing wrong in adjusting the plan in consultation with future customers in response to prevailing market conditions. And, moreover, being transparent about it.
Good RNS.
Just happened to read this while browsing..
"Following discussions with buyers of Ironveld's high purity iron product, it has become clear that a granulated final product, rather than a cast product, will command materially higher selling prices. This led to an assessment of the existing Granulator plant at the smelter and a project to bring this back into production was initiated,"
Seriously? Bunch of amateurs, should do their research properly before spending any money on equipment. Shambolic.
This share is worse than my tap in the kitchen - drip, drip š§
ā¦ at least there is no leak - yet anyway š
Great potential however, looking at the share price you would never think that they would be income generating in the next 8 weeks - maybe confidence on Bod and trust is rock bottom stillā¦.
Come on Bod - you must have some update now to share with long suffering shareholders ?
"The worldwide shortage of vanadium is impacting many companies around the world and thus making offtake agreements available for ore production,"
?
The global vanadium ore market size will grow from $2.78 billion in 2022 to $2.97 billion in 2023 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.9%.
Another week passesā¦
My well-worn patience is running low. But patient I will remain.
Iāve waited long enough for production, so hopefully just a few more months to go. Months are manageable after sitting through years of failure.
Is IRONVELD finally going to come good?
I flipping well hope any forthcoming update IS positiveā¦.
Any sort of update !!!
Sounds like you and I are in the same boat there!
@zippernipper
KOD is my star performer. Fortunately bought a few million 2-years ago, so happy days.
Need it to balance out the startling under performance of IRONVELD.
Ironveld will have its day - just donāt know which one and in which year (or even decade for long term holders )
...ironveld could experience the party we're having on at KOD then this year will be one to remember
So when are we going to see some market interest ? Great potential here. I have 10 mill of these.
Excellent news, very important to the project

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, April 10, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Enernet Global ("Enernet") remains on-track to deliver a full-hybrid system for the Ironveld
Smelting ("Ironveld") Rustenburg smelter complex in South Africa, having already provided start-up generation required.
Following the successful implementation of a 1MW temporary power plant commissioned in late 2022, Enernet has deployed the first of four stages of power upgrades for the Ironveld. The first stage involves a 4MW power plant that enabled āHot Commissioningā of the first of three planned operating furnaces. This process included smelting of test quantities of magnetite ore in order to produce HPI and titanium ****. Working in a close partnership with
Ironveld and their sub-contractors, Enernet managed the rapid delivery of the first stage power with no safety or environmental incidents. Despite the inherent challenges of labour and equipment shortages due to countrywide stage four load shedding, the project was completed in less than 10 days.
Delivering the fast-tracked power involved road freight conveys from
Johannesburg, a 90-tonne crane and a site crew of up to 20 working around the clock to deliver the much needed power in a record time. Enernet's Vice
President Engineering, Dusan Nikolic led the onsite pre-delivery electrical safety tests and inspections. "The delivery of stage one power was a combined effort between Ironveld and Enernet, the quality and speed at which the work was completed is a testament to how well the two companies worked together as a team."
Enernet are now progressing multiple work packages in preparation for the future stages of power upgrades which will boost the on-site power capacity for the operation of three of the furnaces). These upgrades will enable the smelter complex to process approximately 40,000 tonnes of Ironveld's magnetite ore per annum which, in turn, will provide 20,000 tonnes of high purity iron, 190 tonnes of vanadium in ****; and 3,800 tonnes of titanium in ****.
Ironveld Smelting's CEO, Thamaga Mphahlele, commented "Our partnership with
Enernet is working extremely well and is provides us with the confidence we need execute our expansion plans over the coming months."
Imminently, work will begin on the design and construction of both rooftop and ground mounted solar power systems with a combined capacity of 6MW, for which
Enernet's power engineers are working with South African-based contractors.
The final stage of power implementation will comprise a hybrid of energy technologies includ
He left it rather late. Mine was used up 6 months ago.
Martin preparing for some serious tax free gains in due course ????
After what has seemed an eternity , over 10 years for me the company now has all the hallmarks of a growth company. Not much has been said about the appointment of John Wardle, a highly competent ,proven director who raised Ameriser from a small company to a two hundred million company. His knowledge and expertise will be invaluable here. The products were always here at the surface so it really has always ever been when not if. My main concern here is the dilution aspect here which as sure as night follows day will happen with the vast quantity of shares in circulation Sovereign oil was similar Clarke vehicleā¦ā¦ā¦
I feel your pain Basher - I was also very pi55ed off with the Jennings hand grenade, but glad I didn't throw the baby out with the bathwater. I think Martin Eales has done a good job over the past 6 months and deserves some credit. Still some way to go until we reach our rightful `7'.
Iām weary of agreements being āimminentā and then not happening as has happened before with Ironveld. The smelter acquisition had me on the edge of my seat because of that.
As a LTH, Iāve been on this ride before. Hopefully, things are beginning to change, but letās see. All in the fullness of time. Iāll save my congratulations for when the SP has recovered to at least 1p, the price before Align-gate and the subsequent and seemingly cheap, placing.
Taking into consideration Bashers point that it is just an LOI, some degree of worth has to put against the context of the announcement; āBurnStar will supply and install a commercial plant at its own costā. For it to voluntarily agree to this, there is likely to be some substantial benefit to BurnStar from it. Even if an agreement isnāt reached on the current basis, it may be that IRON can look to profit from benefit that would have gone to BurnStar.
I personally see the RNS as very positive and shows things are definitely moving in the right direction.
