I think overall though this is a step in the right direction - the market it likes it for a start! Yes Martin did set out a vision which was exciting but frankly he achieved nothing. You only need to look at the share price. Complete annihilation on his watch - good riddance. Yes we knew of the funding but its not official through term sheet - I just hope this doesn't drag. SA isn't exactly an easy place to do deals.
While it does continue to be a basket case, looking at the flow of trades all the sales have come from retail investors ultimately fed up (I dont blame them here). However, the big players, board, Align, Premier have stayed put, otherwise the the price would have been even lower. Even TP's last raise was at a 'premium'. The point is, there is some faith left even if I'm scraping at the bottom of a very empty barrel.
I dunno - seems too soon? Ironveld have yet to publish any earnings from sales. I think this is ultimately what the market wants to see before we see a restoration in the share price. I can’t see why Ironveld would entertain taking this private when this news is within weeks. I would also only suspect Martin Eales would only except a deal (appreciate it’s not all down to him) if the share price was higher than when he took over – anything lower would be a failure in my opinion. If it’s possible to work out, would love to know what Giles Clarke, John Wardles and Martin’s average position is. At what level did Premier buy in at? Anyone remember?
It is a decent bit of PR - they need more it. Ideally in something more mainstream but in time.
Bought another 2m this morning. Showing up as a sell here..
It is pleasing to see steady progress being made but it feels a little like 2 steps forward 1 step back. We seem to be 'weeks away' all the time at the moment. Also there are no numbers attached to any of this at the moment and given the company's history, its not surprising to see the share price fall. Surely they could have used this RNS to update the market on their 'maiden sales RNS' from the 28th June?
Agreed - reads positive to me. 10,000 tonnes gives an indication on revenue too. Would have been nice to have had an update on furnace three - that was ‘weeks away’ weeks ago…
I don’t get this stock - 12 years of crap…last 6 months made steady positive progress to the point of making a sale yet the share price keeps falling.
I wonder, as the sale was from 'local buyers' it could be small and basically inconsequential - technically its a sale, and therefore inline with previous statements?
By Q3 2023, the Rustenburg facility will produce 40,000 tonnes per annum. Around $20m +
First sale expected this month
Oh so many questions I'd love to have answers too - I wonder how many of them will get screened out!
I for one think that is a damn good RNS! Nice to get such a detailed update across the whole business.
Sounds like you and I are in the same boat there!
...ironveld could experience the party we're having on at KOD then this year will be one to remember
Martin preparing for some serious tax free gains in due course ????
Forgot to mention...Bernard Aylward is quoted! Great exposure

Just wondered if anyone had any light on this? A disgruntled tweet in response to Ironveld's current attendance at the mining conference in Cape Town. Curious to understand what deal with Glencore he is referring too??
Your deal with #Glencore cannot be allowed in SA when its in the public domain what #Glencore did in the #DRC... hands dripping with blood of Afrikans, its scary what #ironveld is bringing to #Lekhureng Limpopo please SAns pray for local communities, lucifer is rearing his head!

From memory the old glory days were a ripping rally from 0.05 to 0.60p - good times but these are even better given the where we are now
In agreement with Basher here. Maybe we've just been in this horror show for too long. Nevertheless, the board is communicating more and things are progressing which is good. Personally, I don't see the share price moving much until the furnace renos are complete and those offtake agreements can finally be worth something! Until then, it's a pipe dream.
