Sounds OK, but it looks like the midpoint of H1 guidance is a 13.5% reduction on 2021/H1. Hopefully this will reverse as time progresses and that it's offset by higher iodine prices.
Expect to get the Q4 update next week, and maybe other good news!
Sorry IOF.GB.PL
Don't really understand why the NEX market is used? Seems the early buys are hidden on there so anyone looking at trades gets a skewed view here. See IOF.PL.GB
So it looks like the last of the AB holdings has been snapped up by PI's. Nice to see that last block go so quickly. Very much looking forward to a bright 2022 for Iofina. Good luck all.
I’m sure that this must be the Somerset Bridge 1% holding. Just dumped on the market in one go by Arch Re just like they dumped the Southern Rock 8.76% holding on Friday and no doubt it was the MW SIPP 2% (4m shares) they dumped the day before. What a bunch of cowboys! At least, by my reckoning, that is the last of AB’s former holdings now disposed of. So hopefully with another good RNS in the next week or so and the price of iodine at least holding or going up there should be nothing holding back IOF’s share price now.
Richard sneller who has increased holdings to 11% retired as fund manager of bailie gifford emerging markets fund after 25 years ... he is accumulating a large position in iofina ... has to be some good news on the way, and I expect he is in tge know
Quote from Indmin just now...
"Fastmarkets assessed the price of iodine 99.5% min, spot, delivered US/Europe, cif Asia at $49-53 per kg on January 6 for volumes exceeding five tons....."
I hope so too Rylidan, I am looking for a good price rise and guessing that there was some not yet reported selling earlier today. That's AIM for you, OK for gamblers.
Not expecting to go up in a straight line! Plenty of trading opportunities as we rise.
Going up really? The indicated share prices have just dropped 10% on very little reported activity
By my calculation on a PE of around 5 for the 2021 numbers when they get released. The forward PE for 2022 is looking more like 3 by my calculation on a conservative average of $50/kg. DyOR
Also went through the 200 dma on Friday
52 week high of 19.75 has been and gone
Yes looks like 20p is in our rear view mirror and we could take out the 52 week high of 20.48p
A number of drivers, iodine price, IO9, Hostile shareholder gone, living with covid
10 to 1 majority buys this morning which makes a nice change
Not sure you are correct. Is AB held his shares through Southern Rock, they could still have been in his name, and owned by him, not the company. He didn't notify the market, which he should have done if you are correct.
Anyway, is of little consequence now!
People don’t seem to realise that AB effectively sold his interest in Iofina back in August 2021 when he sold his insurance companies Southern Rock and Somerset Bridge to Arch Re. Between them, they had c.10.6% shareholding in IOF. No doubt his other c.2% shareholding via MW SIPP was disposed at the same time. There won’t therefore be any shareholder notifications from AB, only from Southern Rock when they declare that they completely sold out on 7 January.
Fortunately, more than half of Southern Rock’s shares have been acquired by solid shareholders in Newlands and Sneller and the rest by private investors who bought on IOF's latest good news RNS.
We've seen who's bought the shares. Can guess the seller. All good news and should lead to a rising price to true value. Won't happen overnight, but a 50p to £1 range should be achievable in the medium term. Can't see many selling here, but then everybody has a different profit strategy!
It certainly appears so. If the buying pressure continues next week it could very quickly reach 30p. I believe its worth 50p but realistically I'll chicken out before then and regret it when it gets there.
Southern Rock have dumped the whole of their 16.8m shareholding (8.76%) on the market in the space of 24 hours. Good riddance. Hopefully IOF can now move onwards and upwards.
And another 5.25 million just reported!!!
Conformation of another 7.26 million sell this morning, that's on top of the 4 million and the 5.5 million sells reported late yesterday early this morning
Very pleased with SP holding 18p + after that 4 million sales.
IO9 news now will push on to 25 - 30p.
