If you're a trader, a quick 14% gain is nothing to sniff at.
If they did manage to get them all away @ .31 having cost them .2679 they would have made £7,857.
Why bother? BWDIK
Have a look at the trades at about 9:30 on the 2nd. The ones ending in 63,680 and compare that with the ending digits of todays announcment.
Coincidence?
Today.

It appears that prior to the H & W acquisition, II’s were a scarcity for Infa, therefore are we to assume that they have invested in Infa purely for the H & W side of the business? I think the answer to the statement is 100% yes. I wonder if some of these funds were involved with H & W previously? I will have a look and see if I can find out.
I would take this as really good news especially if the majority of the new issue is held by these institutions, as Si states we are now just half way through the new issue. If the majority of the new issue is going to be held tightly I see that as very good news indeed. It means the shares will not be traded in the short term and Infa will have a very good base of institutional investors who will be around for a very long time, assuming of course H & W is steered in the right direction. It also would mean that although the shares in issue has increased tremendously, let’s call it 4 billion, it does not impact too much on the potential for significant sp rises going forward.
Once H & W start logging contracts and attaching numbers to them I can a re rate here, added to which we still have the Q4 news incoming for IM, so for me a win win situation. Maybe it will be a Merry INFAChristmas again!!!! After all!!
Mr T
Do they have 1.2 million left to convert? Can they do this willy nilly or are there limitations / restrictions? Need to get this cancelled if we can! Seems a piddly amount to convert... Why bother or why not more

Okay, Kibuc. Thanks.
@Si_Derman "long-only" means then don't short equities, it has nothing to do with the duration.
I doubt it, looking at websites they seem to be out for long term investments only. Looking like these are proper II's, not the typical aim ones that flip shares for small profits. Looking good!

Meant dont suppose they will sell under 0.40
Dont suppose they will under .40 ?
Well, 8.4% actually. This one, Crux, say they manage long-only equity investments.
More sticky hands, as they say.
That brings us up to 928m, so just under half way. From my calcs'.
Another 8% announced

Yes we will have 7 cavens to store it in when they start getting it out :-)

Ofgem funding to project focused on converting the network to 100% hydrogen
The future to decarbonise heat imo
Am sure heading in right direction .. but gotta think all the activity recently may just push any RNS on Nov milestones out. Hope not, but a lot of balls in the air for JW and Arun. I am preparing to remain patient and hopeful of stockings being filled for Xmas
Seems okay. What is does show though is that there is going to be quite a high percentage held by potential LTH's.
Depending on the numbers from the OO and PB, £1m to £2m, we could be looking at another possible 666m additional shares on top of the 3.5bln. Will hopefully all be clear by the end of the week.
that all the remaining pieces of the puzzle will be revealed, I believe:
1. Confirmation of H&L acquisition including new work contracts/deals
2. Remaining TR1's
3. November milestone updates
4. Marine licence updates.
5. Q4 updates
6. EU refund
Take your pick........it all begins imminently!
Hi Si_Derman I am sure your maths are not that far off & clearly there must be more TR1's over the next few days.We do need more news but clearly the declared large investors have faith & so must we.However it would be good to see the respective business cases including cash flows etc etc.
Having put the numbers into the spreadsheet the new TR1's holdings total 17.67% of the new issue of 3.5bln.
But that's only 628m of the 2bln placing shares.
Or about a third of the 2bln placing shares.
So, more TR1's to follow?
Will double check my calcs to see if I messed up somewhere.
