Stokey, news coming i think looking very good today
I do not normally post tweets from the leader of the commons but this is an exception. Please see this tweet https://twitter.com/CommonsLeader/status/1329050667760152582 We might get a feel for any defence work that may be coming up.
Just seen this tweet from INFA https://twitter.com/InfraStrata_Plc/status/1329017092687925257
When i first invested in Infa i was surprised by the amount of negativity i found when i visited this BB.
How great it is now to read so much positivity!
I saw a business with massive potential just like i saw with Greatland gold and powerhouse energy which have seen massive rises 1300% and 500% respectively.
I see a business here that will stand shoulder to shoulder with both of those 2.
2021 i believe will be a fantastic year for infa.
Onwards and upwards!

Yes good news hopefully for HW Belfast , The german company RWE have been installing windmills for years in the Irish Sea. They have the Gwnty Mor windfarm in Liverpool Bay and used Cammel Laird yard as a base . Brish companies involved in these projects will need a lot of funding to gear up for these projects. RWE had the huge transition pies towed across the North sea from holland or germany and held at Cammel Lairds until ready for installation. Siemens the gearbox manufacturer have a facility in Hull.
Si_Derman thanks for your 08.36 post. Between these and the turbines planned under the ten point plan if INFA can get some of the fabrication work then it is likely to keep them busy for a while.
Despite £1 Billion on the table for carbon capture and major push towards hydrogen development, there is still no movement on the ML. Fine rhetoric, no action.
HMG have actually managed to put out their ten point plan. Of note is the stress on electricity from off shore wind. To generate the amount of electricity from wind farms that is needed by the plan will require a lot of wind turbines. This raises the possibility that INFA can generate a lot of business fabricating parts for the turbines.
Had a listen of the podcast and my ears pricked up at about the 20 minute mark when JW mentioned an inquiry about 12 boats. Hopefully they can turn that inquiry into an order. The other ear prick was the discussion about the Navantia tie up food to note it is not an exclusive arrangement. But the more interesting thing was that I counted about ten projects that are being considered as part of the joint venture. All being well 2021 is looking like it might be a good year.
Stokey, thanks for link ,things coming together Very nicely now imho
Just seen this have not has a listen yet https://twitter.com/Harland_Wolff1/status/1328708228977397761
Hi stokey12 - He means exactly what he says a 'full refit' which I see as being all aspects of the mechanics of the gates effectively a 're build' so it brings it back to full spec to avoid more work & avoid any break in the flow of work moving forward.
Chrisatrdg Thanks for your 10.45 post reading some of the comments I note that one person asked if there was going to be a full bearing refit. JW confirmed it was a full refit. Do you know what a full refit means in this context?

'As we push on with our repair and upgrade works to the dock gates in our Appledore facility, it’s great to see the dock gates open ready for lifting out for steel repairs. First time in several years, some thought they’d never be open again!'

Patience will be rewarded imho
If only all decisions only took 3.5 months!
Tango1 In relation to your 15.01 post if my reading of the bill is correct then I doubt that there will be any significant change so we may find a possible three and a half months delay on transactions caught by the legislation.
stokey12- I understand your angle but hopefully when all is detailed it will not be that granular.
Tango1 In relation to your 10.49 post it is not so much a controlling in INFA that is the issue but in relation to FRSU and Islandmagee which are assets. As I understand it if an asset or an nterest in an asset is disposed then the notification requirements would be engaged. As an example if EDF was to indicate that they would be interested in buying a 25% stake in Islandmagee then the transaction would be caught because EDF is French.
stokey12- Why would you think INFA would get "CAUGHT" by it? I doubt if China or Russia would be thinking of buying a controlling stake in INFA...
I have seen this article https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=7b075530-1ce7-4210-9087-0f41979394eb&utm_source=Lexology+Daily+Newsfeed&utm_medium=HTML+email+-+Body+-+General+section&utm_campaign=Lexology+subscriber+daily+feed&utm_content=Lexology+Daily+Newsfeed+2020-11-16&utm_term= From a quick read of the article but not the relevant statutory material it would seem that INFA would be caught by this.
