Sounds fair away but the reality is......
Took a few more after hearing more good news on the way!
He was saying energy parity with a standard battery, the big question is: how much lighter will it be? How fast will it charge?
More good news before Christmas! That could be interesting.
Thank you
Sorry wrong link in last post, Don't know that happened!

The UK needs gigs factories with British technology.
A fantastic time to be launching a world beating new battery and technology.

word is getting around.
the next few months are going to be totally transitional for ilika. the future knows no bounds and take up will be super strong as companies won’t want old battery technology when the new tech will take their cars to a sensible and acceptable range and charging time to transform the whole electric car dynamic!! 💥💥💥💥

Yes Barno, too true.
ilika M-cap is tiny compared to the Goliath sized company's developing solid state, they will be circling/sniffing around tiny ilika for sure, wondering if the tec is better than theirs, or could the IP added to their own battery tec, making a better product! Then you have the Chinese, they would love to have this technology for themselves.
Cars that can drive 500-1000 miles on a full battery will certainly be an unbelievable boost for the industry.
Llika texhnology annd batteries arent just for the car trade.. battery storage form a battery that doesn’t degrade is the holy grail of energy storage.
Add to that the reliance on Chinese materials to make the current batteries is a political hot potato’s and Llika are set to take on the world.
We have already got 7plus hige companies ready to take Goliath ams install it in their vehicles.
There’s only one way this is going. Huge share price or a take over.
Best for you not to invest here then dsc1978
I don't see solid state batteries until the next decade. Toyota have been banging on about it for years, yet still invested in hydrogen.
That's a good name!
Development is now complete, that's a big achievement, we now have a big solid state battery developed in the UK
Was nice to us.

Are we now ahead of QuantumScape who raised billions?
QuantumScape Corp CFO Kevin Hettrich Sells 45,981 Shares
If we really are on the cusp of a 1,000 mile solid state battery with half the weight of the latest Tesla lithiyum incarnation the real value for IKA here will be licensing and repurposing all massive giga battery factories around the world and taking a cut... keep away from the manufacturing, just sell the IP in there.... Britain's future biggest tech company on the brink of making its way out of incubation?
Wireless charging, yes another new innovation for medical battery implants, should think though, the technology would be available for all manufacturers to make the most of, smart phones have been using it for a long time. I have noticed though, the battery and charger need to be quite close together for it to work, as they do with s- phones, with a car battery and wireless charging, the car wheels are going to elevate the battery, making the deign for a charger more challenging, then you have to look a the time it takes to charge, it will take longer, something you don't want if stopping for a charge on a longish journey
Hi TheT I wouldn't think there is an application of wireless charging into a Goliath battery. Wireless is typically upto 50% less efficient than direct charge so given the cost of the electric you are seeking to harvest I don,t think that will stack . The USP of Goliath is faster charging and more charge retention in a smaller lighter form cf a normal Lithium EV cell
Stearex applications for implanted devices to be recharged insitu is something I am less clear on but i am guessing that the real drive for stearex is the ability to operate in a very small form factor in hostile enviroments. Not sure rechargeability is key for most proposed uses. The company might profer a view if asked
The days of big rises 👍
Https://cirtecmed.com/event/small-smart-speedy-and-scalable-resonant-link-and-cirtec-medical-partner-to-power-the-future-of-implantable-medical-devices/
September, 26, 2023 – South Burlington, Vermont – Wireless charging leader Resonant Link and leading medical device manufacturing solutions provider Cirtec Medical Corp. have announced a strategic partnership to power the future of implantable medical devices. By combining Resonant Link’s next generation wireless power with Cirtec Medical’s expert product design, development, and manufacturing services, this partnership will offer medical device makers the best technology, fully integrated components, and faster time to market.
Would anyone know if this is complementary to Stereax or competition. It sounds like it is a means for re-charging batteries wirelessly; if it is compatible with Stereax (which I am pretty sure is rechargeable), this could be very positive. Alternatively, if RL provide the battery, it could make Stereax redundant ("Small, Smart, Speedy, and Scalable: Resonant Link and Cirtec Medical Partner to Power the Future of Implantable Medical Devices").
They also developing or have developed (a bit unclear) wireless charging for cars (https://www.resonant-link.com/solutions/electric-vehicles). Again, this might be something that Goliath could leverage off?
Any thoughts?
Sounding positive on Proactive interview with more news to come in 2023 and in a trading update this week
Ilika continues to explore opportunities for closer collaboration with strategic partners interested in aligning their product roadmaps with Goliath. In February 2023, Ilika commenced leading a 24-month £8.2 million Faraday Battery Challenge collaboration programme to integrate high silicon content electrodes into its Goliath solid-state batteries to enable automotive level performance. The programme is supported by BMW and Williams Advanced Engineering.
Maybe 🤔🤞
Now that Ilika has locked in on Goliath this is looking like a strong buy. Could well deliver a 5 to 10 fold return upon what is now pretty much an inevitable commercial tie in with a vehicle manufacturer. The main question is which one.
