Now that Ilika has locked in on Goliath this is looking like a strong buy. Could well deliver a 5 to 10 fold return upon what is now pretty much an inevitable commercial tie in with a vehicle manufacturer. The main question is which one.
I’m just glad the drop was due to a broker recommendation (to sell at 220):
“Goldman Sachs cuts ITM Power price target to 220 (230) pence - 'sell'”.
I thought it might be something serious at first. In any case the price is now below the target, which makes the ‘recommendation’ old news.
Nanotechnology solid state batteries are far from being a craze or bubble. They’re fundamental to progress in developing affordable electric vehicles and implantable / wearable medical technology. Battery technology is not simply something a civilised world so heavily dependent on electrical energy can do without
Oilriches - Not sure how you can be definite that the company has no plans to take advantage of the current fir weather to raise funds, unless you’re on the inside? Also selling up doesn’t make someone’s opinion less valid or them any less knowledgable, on the contrary their posts are probably more objective due to the lack of financial interest.
Also expecting a placing. Accordingly took profit back end of last week. But will happily jump back in with a discounted open offer. Primary Bid seems to be the vehicle of choice these days. Meanwhile holding EOG following recent placing on PB. Both great plays
Me too. Just doubled my investment in WG today. Also sat on Petrofac, James Fisher, Bab****, RR, plus various lithium, oil and hydrogen. Whole UK energy and engineering sector is oversold at present. Looking forward to the energy strategy announcement next week
Looking forward to a formal announcement from the UK Government on civil nuclear strategy and investment this week. The fact that Bab**** is firmly embedded within this sector, including a MoU on development of Rolls Royce's small modular reactors looks incredibly promising. Exciting tmes

"See strong finish today pussys, I told ya"
Sure. Enjoy the paper gain on the peanuts you've gambled...and good luck with cashing in your chips
Someone at the stock exchange probably needs their morning coffee before they finally pull the plug.
Hard to see with this headline:

No need to make it personal. Makes sense to listen to those telling you things you don't want to hear. Regardless of motivation, he spotted the fact that the POG is due to be dropped from the FTSE index. Make your own judgement as to what impact that might have
Well that's me out. Bought for an average of 2.5 and just sold for 2.9. Will be donating profit to DEC - Ukraine.
Good luck
