Just received notification that Ive been allocated all the shares I’d asked for through Primary Bid. Not many, but I’ve been with Ilika a while, and was looking for a small top up anyway.
Fingers crossed for other shareholder who missed the boat this morning, with the open offer in due course.

@Bladey - and now that’s you being told off. This would be funny if it weren’t so ridiculous. You can’t say jack on this board without someone having a meltdown and calling you a troll or a liar. Lets just agree to see who’s correct in 6 months
@Boadey. Really can’t be arsed with defending myself anymore. Now I’m you’re trying to tell me off? WTF. Sos dad!
Cheers. The amounts I invest are peanuts to some, and with the dealing fees and spread, perhaps not so lucrative. But it’s important to me. I don’t think the small number doesn’t make my observations / insights less valid. I hope everyone makes a packet on their investments. But that’s not the way the world is. There are risks, and anyone telling you otherwise are lying. I spread my stakes and pay attention to the positive and the negative. Otherwise it’s just fairy tales and tears.
Why did I post on Cineworld now? Simply because its the first time I’ve been to the flicks for ages and was surprised how empty it was. Wondered if others had similar experiences. I have shares in around 15 companies as a savings pot for the kids. Not much, around £15k. Made a few quid on CINE but nothing to write home about. What I find weird is that my post has caused such a fuss. It says a lot about the psyche of some people on here. Not very nice
Yep - my kids are 15 and 17 - why the paranoia about ulterior motives? Just a single observation, so I agree its probably not representative. I pay in interest in lots of companies, and tell it like it is. The one’s you need to worry about are the rampers. Get sucked in by those people and you’re going to loose hard earned money. I also posted one “negative” comment on 88 energy and got a similarly vicious response. Some people just want spin and false hope
Took my kids to see A Quiet Place 2 on Sunday night. The place was empty. Eery. OK it was a Sunday, but not what I expected after a long lockdown. Especially with reduced ticket prices. Sat there and felt relieved that I sold up a while, otherwise I’d have been fretting. Hope I’m wrong for all those still long, but I think the next set of number are going to be far from pretty. Litmus test
Sold out a while ago at 47p when its became uncertain whether drilling would go ahead this season. Kicking myself now. However, I do remember looking at the seismic data, and although I’m no geologist it did seem to be a unclear picture. Just be aware that this is a pure gamble right now. Way too risky for me to get back in at these prices. The potential downside is huge. But happy for all those who have taken their money and ran. Wishing all long term holders the best of luck.
Did any genuine 'retail investor' actually get a chance to buy? I l logged in and looked last night on Primary Bid. It had no price and you couldn't apply. This morning gone and 'over subscribed'. When was it actually open to the public?
Good article on Tesla - highlighting placement of Savannnah at the centre of EU production. Aligns almost precisely on recent EU trade policy announcement on EV ramp up and sourcing lithium from within the Europe, rather than importing from Asia. Strong internal market pressure for approval of mining in Portugal
"Given the current short-term trend, the stock is expected to rise 176.16% during the next 3 months and, with a 90% probability hold a price between $6.97 [£5.08] and $11.47 [£8.36] at the end of this 3-month period."
