At least...let's hope it stirrs some counter action as is the case with Spire t which is still in a bid situation from rival bidders....nice
Love to know what DK bid for this is . I’ve just bought in at 2.55 with him owning 27% of the company I’m sure he will have a good idea what the results will be next month and with him bidding for the company I would say they will be pretty good .
It's quite obvious the approach is made because of the property - EP Group's property company's stated operational purpose is....."This role has gradually evolved into the preparation of transformational projects that explore the potential of areas whose energy-industrial use has been exhausted....."
Spare industrial property ripe for projects? Now who has a shed load of that. And selling out the Europe parcels business will cover the costs of such ambition.
If this bid ends up at 3.67 I would be happy. But I imagine it is 290 as that would be 40% from 210
TMS can’t be bothered to go through my history on this board but you obviously have got time to go through my history so tell me what date I said these things your accusing me of then you might get an apology in your own time son
I don’t think so I think you may have a touch of dementia. Now accusing me of talking Bol-licks on here is quite funny really as I can remember when you said this share could hit 7 pounds unfortunately I can’t prove this because you deleted your account didn’t angershark
You guys will be well miffed when the £3.67 figure is released
I bought in some time ago when it was bouncing around sub 200p with the intention of holding for possible future reinstatement of dividends
I'll be surprised in the interim if this finishes this week sub £3
TMS still waiting for you to prove the things you accused me of saying obviously I didn’t say those things or you would have posted the proof by now . So you are wrong again on this board just like when you said this share could hit 800p . Just remember I sold these at 581 which I bought at the IPO for 330 now I’m back in at 255 that’s how you play the stock market son if you weren’t so dense I might give you some tips but it would go over your head
@damofarl there are clear synergies between what IDS does and the portfolio of business activities EP Group is involved in. Property is just one area where joining the businesses would make sense. Perhaps IDS could counter by putting a bid in to acquire EP Group, the market values appear fairly similar ;-)
TMS you’re wrong you clown go through my history and show me the post where I said the things you’re accusing me of . You can’t prove it because I didn’t say them now go and give your head a wobble have a nice lay down on your bed and give that 1 brain cell you have a rest
TMS just tell me the date I said these things on my history it’s that simple even for someone as simple as you LOL
Big spike just then on IG index - up 10p in 2 seconds
National Security & Investments may have a say in this.
But it's good to see the price nearly as high as it was 6 months ago. And that after a bid from Daniel. I might buy a share.
The Board of IDS (the "Board") confirms that on 9 April 2024 it received a preliminary and conditional non-binding proposal from EP Group regarding a possible cash offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of IDS not already owned by EP Group and its affiliates, namely VESA Equity Investment S.à r.l ("VESA Equity") at 320 pence per share (the "Possible Offer"). VESA Equity is an approximately 27.5% shareholder in IDS.
Closed at 280p bid - something happened just before the close
Carrington, RNS the bid was 320p
Absolutely amazing posts ... share price was @£6 almost 3 yrs ago and we have the same investors drooling over £2.76... jesus they must have lost a lot of dough. pmsl
Guys settle for the sp tomorrow then its only a 50% loss for some....
I said before the RNS that in the interim we'd be above £3 by close of business friday
That will go at 8am tomorrow clearly instead
Anger i been off here for ages.. still see you on here as a different name and still spitting bile and still up to neck in ids shares and hopes for the future... thought you would have been off and retired now due to the knowledge you reckon you have. pmsl... shame you still hold at £2.76. and even yeasterday@£2.20.. and even whilst some of us cashed in 3 years ago @the £6 mark... well theres investors and theres the money shark.... clue is in the name guys....
Stfu anger, we would rather not have to sift through your drivel during these interesting times, go and play somewhere else. We all know big K isn't going anywhere near your average but at least you won't lose everything, cheer up son :)
Anger.. look back at my posts... never said he wouldnt make a bid.... what i said was he wouldnt buy at @£6 as what i sold my latest batch and moved on... i was just tempted to come back today and see the euphoria from the said people still on here waiting to make a few bob.... guess what? you still here hoping to break even...pmsl.... by the way i am an ex posty now enjoying my riches from a company thats in big trouble.... hope you get to break even soon mate or even make a profit.thats allowing for inflation thats eroded almost 25% off your hard earned money....
They're all crawling out of the woodwork today, me included. TMS, I don't know what institution you've been held in the last few months, but it clearly hasn't worked. I would have doubled the electric shock treatment myself.
TMS , do you realise you come across as a bully. Every single one of your posts is derogitory or highly insulting .
What happened to the regular informative information and expertise and predictions on the chat you always gave which I valued. It doesn’t benefit you to lower yourself to others. Rise above and go back to who you were before . Block the haters and then contribute positively and insightful posts for the rest that want to hear what you have to say .
Fk me anger you are one sad person to go through comments made years ago....at the time rmg was unionised!!!!! but thompson and the downfall of the cwu saw to that... thats why i quit royal mail....so now ids is not unionised as it was, so where was i wrong?
