5-6m oz for me - i'm easily pleased!
Thanks Tymers. I was trying to add a bit of levity to the BB but I do think your figures are more accurate than mine. :-)
Holly work on the basis as at today us dollars per ounce 1860 taking pounds sterling taking we own 30% we have approx £450.00 less costs . Let's take 10m oz let's say Hav lifespan 25 years you will come out with about £75 million p/a now the only questions are will it be more? Will gold increase in value? Newcrest value? Other tenements value? What value the market places on these ie GGP realise a value over life of approx 2 billion what is the immediate effect? Again any co with a firm revenue without costs of 2 billion for me equates to 88p on hav alone
EP.. Ive been trying to work out how much profit per ounce each share is likely to get in order to obtain a proper share value. Ive been using some Figures clever people use called AISC and EBITDA And come to the conclusion that we will get anywhere between £1 and £1800 per ounce. I’m going to use my noodle a bit when we have something called and MRE and times that by my calculations to arrive at proper job fair share price. Now going back to bed cause my brains hurts!!!
Hope this post has been meaningful for you :-\
I have been reading this morning, that the MRE won’t include areas which have been drilled and reported on, my view is when they finalise the MRE they will include everything they know up to that date ! Why would they exclude anything that has already been drilled ? Doesn’t make sense ! But remember it is a maiden resource estimate and will grow as time goes on ! Where it ends up is anybody’s guess ! But it won’t be small that’s for sure.
Hydrogen,
Many thanks for your response yesterday at 22:16. It clarified my understanding.
It's all very exciting and, judging by the latest update from Paddy, powering ahead as we speak.
Just tuned in now after a crazy morning of toddler-taming and I'm catching up on the discussions. It's taking time because, rather remarkably, over 95% of the posts are meaningful today!

He did use Inferred . I believe it was in the last NC update
It seems to me after reading what others who have far more knowledge of resource estimates than myself say ( which is probably the majority of people here ), that the key to using them to evaluate your investment when they are released is to Understand what has not been included yet as much as what is. Also what weighting to put on the type of estimate. Anyway looking forward to the comments on them as and when they arrive. Looking forward to the next few months.
TMT/ Bamps. The MRE doesn't need to restrict itself to reporting in just one category. For example, it could be 10 , of which 8 is inferred and 2 is indicated. Just depends on how much infill will be done, spacing between drills etc etc.
Think it will be a good one
Hi, Bamps, I knew you had it backwards but the distinction was still sound. I believe Sandeep used the word "inferred" recently, someone else will remember when. So I suspect inferred is coming. I agree that people will be disappointed if it is indicated. I don't know if they do a hybrid where they give both an indicated and inferred amount? That would be interesting.
I really do need to let this go for a while. It's not because of Spy, I just got tired of him playing the know-it-all and dissing other people when he's done some stupid stuff, too, so I thought I'd remind him, LOL. That's not why I'm taking a "sabbatical". Real life, mostly. I knew work was going to be blowing up on me, and it's started to.
I do plan on being back, and may pop in briefly if we get big news. BOL.
Hi TmT
I had that the other way round I wasn't correct apparently, I hope you keep posting I value your input.
If they give us an indicated MRE for just the HG sulphide zone in the Southern crescent there will be a lot of disappointed shareholders here and in NCM.
The 2g/t Breccias surrounding the HGZ is where most of the gold ounces are located.
I can't understand why people believe there is another anomaly below cos there isn't. There is a 2g/t anomaly in the centre of the oval between 600 and 900m with a size of 300x300x100 and is poking out of the oval to the North. 1g/t Breccias surround this anomaly.
The drilling logs clearly show the grades becoming lower further down.
If it is only an inferred resource it will be high but the way they are still drilling an indicated resource is still likely.
Its not in Newcrest interest to give a false MRE they are enjoying the fide aswell as Greatland. They need this mine big time.
Hi, Bamps. Did some thinking about this yesterday after signing off, thought I'd come back to you on this.
I think you are probably right and that we're going to get an inferred estimate, rather than indicated, and that gives scope for a higher number. If they are going for inferred, which it now sounds like they are, I think that means they want it to be big, which means your numbers are likely to be better than mine.
BOL to you, Bamps. Be back after a while.
If it was maternal, could follow on with the mother of all finds... Not sure what paternal gives us

"constant requotes" been the same since you turned up.
My price guesses might be a bit off, but the info is spot-on.
Leaving now....
Adios.
@Spy "Too many Know-it-alls on here...... they mostly know jack schit about what's going on."
Yeah, it is a problem.
Look, I enjoy your posts. I suspect you really do know people who work for miners. But for someone who posted the following to say others don't know what's going on is a little rich.
I give you all Spymaster25 himself:
22-9-2020 20:19 "Should see 26p tomorrow with some luck."
20-9-2020 09:56 "30p is coming end of month"
19-9-2020 18:51 "Another Huge buy will drop very soon."
16-9-2020 10:47 "We have big buyers trying to get in before the fund. i expect to see a raft of TR1 a some point. Far too many are concentrating on this week/next week. massively bigger picture here."
15-9-2020 20:52 "There is a 50m buy winging it's way in apparently."
12-9-2020 20:49 Responding to my warning that people should be careful if it went to 25-30p, he said: "There are people far more understanding of what's coming before 30th September, I doubt your in that group."
12-9-2020 13:09 " I think we will get MRE around 7moz by mid November."
11-9-2020 22:38 "RE: Who's seeing an SP of 25p" was the subject, he said, "No doubt mickey, that's a minimum Monday I reckon"
7-9-2020 22:17 "Far too many variables to know if this GDXJ rumour is actually valid or not." (TMT comment -- who knows what's going on, then?)
14-8-2020 08:07 "Nobody will make a move until NCM show their hand."
(TMT comment -- ooh, our man has inside knowledge on what the BODs of Newmont, Barrick, Rio, Anglogold, etc, are all thinking! NOBODY will make a move before NCM!!!)
24-7-2020 08:57 "But as seen all year, this will drop a bit then pick up. SW drills start in August, expect the SP to be moving again by then." (TMT comment -- yeah, it did move -- down to 12p.)
22-7-2020 23:44 "20p in July. All non-believers, jog on...."
22-7-2020 16:47 "I stopped but that does not mean I no longer pick up whispers. i do, just dont post it."
(TMT comment -- glad you cleared that up)
I thought these two just belonged together for some reason:
15-9-2020 12:05 "Lenz, i dont want to be labelled as a ramper....lol"
14-9-2020 21:43 "Hey mickey. You hoping for 30p this month?"
II won't be surprised if Spy is right about 40-50 by the end of the year, I won't be surprised if he's right about the MRE, won't be surprised if he's right about this going over a pound and a possible bidding war. But this guy is still full of (a word that Mrs TMT doesn't want me using).
I'm taking a sabbatical from this board for a while. Still holding, my target SP is £1. But this board just isn't much fun anymore. GLA. Maybe I'll be back in a month or two, the biggest news is probably not until December anyway. Hope you all enjoy yourselves and achieve your investment dreams.
Spy, Hydrogen,
That's excellent news, thanks a lot! However, these two bits of information don't seem to match, even though you've said you're hearing the same thing:
- MRE of 7 to 10Moz;
- only the HG sulphide zone in the SE to be included in the MRE.
Perhaps I've got the wrong end of the stick but the calculations by various posters here are well shy of 7-10 Moz just for the HG sulphide zone. I agree with the overall numbers (although I'm secretly hoping for 12Moz) but can't see how we could hit 10Moz without the breccia or even the thinner, more recently drilled, bits of the HG zone. I'd be grateful for a clarification.

Hydrogen, you have referred me as a sheriff quite a few times now and it has not worried me in the least. I would appreciate if you cease your stupid childish name calling and keep it to yourself as I do not come on the board calling you idiotic names and i do not need to report ANYONE and do not see the sense in doing so, I have better things to occupy my mind.
I have NO interest at all in what Spy or others post as its their opinion and I do not have any reason to complain about anyone's post. If you notice I have cut back on posting on this board due to stupid comments and abuse from a few posters and you are one of them.
I was told you were a respected member and your immature posting does NOT reflect that at all. Let that be an end of your insults as the board was getting back to normal and you have now dragged it back down again with your accusations.
Give it a rest !!
Thanks hydro, Glad your hearing the same as me
Too many Know-it-alls on here...... they mostly know jack schit about what's going on.
Comical.
Until it is drilled out it would be unwise to assume there are no higher grades at depth. Usually higher grades are found at depth, gold being a heavy element. The other targets also all need testing. Remember Telfer itself is one of the largest gold deposits in Aus, Havieron is looking like tier 1 too. Could be part of a district. Forthcoming drill results will be interesting.
Your problem is, you don't like to be wrong and have to continually call people out. I can't be arsed supporting what I put on here. It's been right since December. You carry on on your ETF whinge.
"I have been told categorically by contacts at 2 separate companies "
To be clear, and to lessen the chance of it being removed, neither of those companies are GGP or NCM, right? So this is not legally insider info, this is industry chit chat, right?
So LSE should not care that you've posted it.
Nor can we safely assume that your contacts have certain knowledge. Useful for us to know that's what people in the industry think, and appreciated, but it isn't locked-on, and we use that information in our decision-making at our own risk.
After next drill results speedy lol
spy - we should all take a screenshot
