After a long wait the patience has been rewarded - I have sold up the lot at 81p - not hanging around to worry about more ups and downs - in my head I had a 60 to 65p target so boom! Good times and chink chink.
What a Monday
Hopefully Mike-Ashley now bids for Debenhams
dumped all my stock. happy days
I'lll keep an eye out for them.. mind i did lose a bit with minerals and oil companies a few years ago. Claawed it back but took 2 years.
I’ve just ploughed mine into BCN, looks good for at least 60p in the next 2-3 months!
Like I had said this is a great win for me. I have more than doubled up here. Now using this profit to plough it back into IMM who I believe may well have similar news - well a takeover of sorts.
Just been reading your previous posts. You called something was going on.
Bit dodgy that, someone scooping them up knowing this was coming.
Well done though. Not in here but glad to see you are. i'll watch your future posts for tips :-).
So JD Sports have bid & now have to buy the company, they cannot now back down as they would look rather foolish. Accordingly it would not surprise me if Ashley bids simply to force JD Sports higher. Mischief making or business acumen - take your choice but could be interesting.
I think Mike Ashley only buys at dirt cheap prices and this company is not sufficiently distessed.
Mike Ashley and sports direct are going to have to counterbiod I reckon or they ve lost the high street shoe war
cheers Beamer.
what if mike Ashley now turns up!
who gives a shit what they are paying. weve made money - who cares now.
If anyone’s short their in for a lovely roasting today
nice start to the week well done all.
hilarious! folk suddenly giving ashley free advice on how to run his business... i only wish i had something in my pf that was going to gift me 60% in the next hour!
Or maybe JD just see it as a great market which will help them grow!
Wonderful news. Stopped posting as couldn't be bothered with derampers any more. What a day....
I think JD are paying too much and doing so to help their relatives out.
I meant that JD will have wanted to do the deal before a Brexit bounce.
Draft - Great result, well played and a rather nice start to the week for you
Not sure why you would think it would settle at 70p? JD already own 20%+ with the board owning the bulk of the rest, no way will it not be accepted.
I thought that they would have held out for over £1. The fact that JD want to take them out shows that they're having some success and they'll have wanted to do the deal before we get a Brexit bounce(??!!!??).
Good deal for JD - takes out one of their competitors and gives them more economies of scale.
Could someone else bid? I can't see Mike Ashley bidding.
Be interesting to see what this does today. Straight to the offer price or will it settle around 70p
