Rising ready for the update early next week
Yes I think the numbers will be good and very lucky with the weather this year and plenty of the summer to come yet!, would expect most drinks companies to report pretty good sales this summer
I have been trying to deepen my understanding of FEVR for a little while now to see if there is the underlying potential I really hoped there was and I must admit all signs seem to be green, like I mentioned in my previous post about their staff. Took a look around online and there seems to be almost nothing but praise for Fever Tree in the UK, but given that really FEVR needs to exploit the huge overseas market (especially the US) I figured I should look further afield too. Having taken a look at a few US pages it is all the same, but the Fever Tree listings on Amazon USA blew me away - immense support and popularly on there (and it ain't cheap either!). That combined with decent numbers and management (plus Brucy bonus if we get this good weather) and I think the future is indeed bright.
Hopefully the start of a sustained rise up to results. Hopefully more good numbers, its been a pretty good summer so far so should translate into good sales. ATB
So far today looks like they were the ones holding this back
Blackrock from my experience all always messing about churning their stock
No it looks like a disposal to me. They had 5% before and are now below 5 % and don't appear to need to tell us the resulting number as below 5%
Was thinking the same thing ! Cant quite make this out ! i THINK they have increased, or it could be more in hope :)
Showing my ignorance here but these Holdings RNS's have never been clear to me - is Blackrock increasing or decreasing its holding in FEVR here? It seems to suggest an increase but it is quite obfuscating.
I did a bit of digging around their employment policies and the teams behind the organisation. Initially I was a little worried and disappointed as I saw lots of very young and quite inexperienced graduates in their team (particularly marketing/comms, which is admittedly full of young people across the board) with frequent promotions/role changes and short tenures in each role. This can be interpreted badly in a large and aged organisation (high turnover) but in a small and growing firm roles and challenges will come and go very quickly as the company growths, morphs, and changes. Despite the initially young and graduate (not to say they are necessarily ineffective or incompetent, by the way!) staff, I did come across some incredibly experienced individuals who were well seasoned in the industry (some having worked for large competitors) which really gave me faith that the current team behind FEVR know what they're doing. I think that with the combination of those seasoned old hands and capable young talent (some Oxbridge grads included) our investments are in good hands here. Of course other major factors have an impact on the success of the business but good staff and good management can survive rough seas and make the most of the wind in their sail at the best of times.

Grayling, I think you're spot on. Nothing complicated, just plenty of stock to meet demand. If you're right and Rolls continues to dump, then previous sp momentum may disappear.
Certainly some odd movements , very small trades moving the price both ways
They have been playing with the share price since the last tree shake it will be interesting to see what happens in the lead up to the half year results
Look on the bright side the weather has been good this year since the last report and that should have a good effect on product sales
Well the Rolls sale seems to have stalled the SP which has now been stuck in a range since it was announced. Could it be that institutions are expecting Rolls to dump more shares once the 6 month tie in expires? This gives them a grace period in which to shift the existing tranche on to others making a tidy profit on the difference between the price they paid (1625p) and the current SP, but is hardly likely to encourage the SP to rise significantly.
I like that and beyond bit. Can we make that to infinity and beyond?
Same here, Where do you think this will go on results if the momentum continues
Need that momentum back! I look forward (with hesitation) to their update hopefully in July.
Stellar, As I am sure you will know very often it is better to sell some of your shares at a loss and use the money to catch the rising prices of another. OK you will not make the best profit but you will make a profit (you hope). Better than that IMHO than to wait until your existing stock makes the profit you want (or hope) as by then the stock you want to buy changes it's price (maybe lower). Strike whilst the iron is hot (say with BOO).
Its impossible to get it right. What im dying for is for one of my other stocks to go up a decent amount so that I can sell that and ride this one back up.
........should have waited until today! This rarely goes below it's SMA50 (1648 at moment), another reason I bought at 1625 if it goes below £16 will be piling in. DD
Looks like a lot of very high PE stock took a hit today: BOO, PURP, ECSC, PRSM, KWS, to name but a few. Also believe overvalued high tech US stock were hit last Friday, so looks like a general pullback for perceived expensive shares and hopefully for FEVR its back to normal, hope so bought in at 1625 (I too thought it should be the floor). GL DD
chcscoop11, I guess if we knew the answers to those questions, we wouldn't be mucking about on bboards like this! We do know that institutions paid c.1625p for the latest block of Rolls's shares, so that could well be the floor-unless some more unpleasant macro-economic news hits the fan. ;-)
