Is anybody aware of what has caused today's sell off (assume low consumer spending report and general political risk) ? Is this an opportunity to add or is this possibly the rally coming to an end? Do we expect a rebound in the future or a period of sustained pricing at this level? Thanks
As unpleasant as it feels, this looks very consistent with the longer term trend: had to add another £2k just now.
Not really sure what is going on here, two small flash crash-type affairs in a week or two!
Discretionary spending in the UK under pressure. Does that include FEVR?! US performance becomes even more important IMHO to sustain current rating.
Hit a bit of a sticky patch here!
It feels like my holdings never rise dramatically together, only every dramatically downwards in sync! I can get a stellar performance one week from a single holding and a respectable or mediocre performance from the rest in the same week, but they all love to tank together and never shine together! The world is against me! :)
Very abrupt trend reversal.FTSE down generally, but momentum stocks hit harder. Prospect of a Labour govnt perhaps?! ;-)
Ouch
Yep totally agree just bought more
To take out any stop losses? Shortage of stock perhaps?
May I ask who bamboo is? An experienced hand of these chat boards I presume? Regardless I am interested to hear what he has to say if you are both rooting for him!
Thanks for that Would be nice to see where he thinks this is going short to medium term as far exceeded my expectations to date
Hi Stellarshares, Have left message as requested on ADVFN. Bamboo2 posts there, so may respond.
Hello Wetdream Would it be possible for you to contact Bamboo from ADVFN to get a chart rundown on Fevr for us please I notice Bamboo over there at times but not registered with them
Part of cost saving apparently. Trying to cut costs by $5bn. Every little £85m helps, I suppose. ;-)
I wonder why PepsiCo sold their entire 4.5% Britivic stake last week.
Just tried Fever Tree's Naturally Light Ginger Beer and must say I'm blown away, seriously zingy and low sugar (fructose) without any sweeteners. Had a look around online and it's almost nothing but 5 star reviews hailing the taste, absence of sweeteners etc. They really have made some cracking products in what I would have thought an overly saturated market if you had asked me 5 years ago, but they've managed to find a niche!
Laughton, If I wanted to use the Divi it's available the same day. But if I wanted the money transferred to my current bank account, then HL transfer the money on the 10th. As I generally leave the dividends to stay on my account to accumulate until I have a reasonable amount to invest, as and where I consider in my best interests ATB
Thanks for that. Barclays are usually the following day, but I guess it will be the next working day this time, which (hopefully!) will be Tuesday. Thanks for the response. ATB
Dar - do you mean they show in your account on the 10th of each month (in which case that can't be right) or do you mean they pay out to you on the 10th?
Yes the dividend was paid on the 26th May. However I don't know about Barclays, but I use Hargreaves Lansdowne and they transfer all dividends received on the 10th of each month. So the dividend for Fevertree won't be in my account until 10th June. Have a good weekend DAR
Was a final dividend not meant to have been paid here yesterday? If so, then has anyone else with Barclays not yet received theirs? Seems odd! ATB
Quite pleased to see the performance options recently awarded relate to 2019 so I think they are pretty optimistic in the future growth.
And long may it continue, cheers to that! Quite excited for the trading/results update around July time (I think)
Pith helmet, baggy shorts, leather suitcase. At first I thought self description. But seriously FEVR is returning capital and more besides. IMO a very good company and worthy investment? Regards DAR
