Berenberg reiterates Buy 24 target
hands up who managed to load up at 19P :-)
Back to normal.
Funny enough both Google and Yahoo finance pages are showing 98% drop in FEVR share price at the moment. Yap , from 1900 p to 19p on a snap of thingers
The current price is 221p BELOW the 50 day MA. Yes the SP ran up ahead of itself, but now offers very good value, I suspect a strong trading period in the run up to Xmas. There is a Trading announcement due in mid Jan, I suspect by then the price will be back up to 22-23+ The current price represents an excellent opportunity to buy and hold. ** Icing on the cake, a Bid might come at anytime, the Co is cheap in GBP terms.
Very nice too.
Got some to try tonight. Christmas will be a good time to market some seasonal tonics.
By the way check the Fevertree Clementine Limited edition out available in Sainsburys its really good I hope they keep this one going , keeps selling out in my nearest Sainsburys
yes ive seen they have been on the menu and the radio adverts for a while now. They first had the Woo Woo that I can now see on the menu at Toby
Their radio ads are plugging fevertree g&t with their food anyone heard this too?
So far had no reply from my e-mail to Butler & Mitchells. If they are going to replace Britvic with Fevertree, its another great recommendation.
Muthu Hotels is a small chain, I stayed in their Southend hotel last Saturday. In bar and customer lounge had a special gin menu selection of 6 or 7 gins, all sold with Fevertree tonics which were shown within the menu. The menu was all hotel branded, but I am guessing is supplied from Fever Tree. I was impressed to see us, putting such effort into a small hotel chain. All the small units add up to big sales. Any competition has to go some, to out perform the FT marketing.
Graeme1 The point we are making is this. Check the advert out https://www.tobycarvery.co.uk/content/dam/toby-carvery/pdf/DN17/brand/drinksmenu-eng-nopb.pdf
I can tell you that at least one of Mitchells and Butlers chain i.e. Miller and Carter do stock Fevertree Mediterranean. It is served with their Gin Fresco drink. So although most of the chain still serve gin with Britvic it will only be a matter of time when the Directors realise what extra profits they can make by getting all their chains to stock it.
I think Diageo are the obvious one I think of... they've been spending a bit lately buying premium tequila brands (George Clooney's) etc. I think this is a great fit for them. If your looking to expand you can only buy so many different brands of one "poison" before you're competing with yourself!
A better fit for me would be Pepsi but not as a full takeover, rather taking a shareholding and distributing worldwide we would benefit hugely that way. Also one in the eye for Coca Cola
But Im looking at Diageo and they are focussed purely on alcoholic beverages - cant think of a better fit personally?
Crikey, if they are in the Toby Carvery's, I would take that as an indication of UK market saturation. They will be selling it in Burger King and KFC at this rate!
Great. I may go into my local Toby to check here near Portsmouth too now
Yes- put that information in my E-mail. If i get reply will post.
Mention the actual carvery you went to and that they didn't have Fevertree they advertised?
Have sent e-mail to Mitchell & Butlers asking if they have contract to sell Fevertree in their Toby restaurants. If i get a reply is another matter.
Clearly says enjoy our Gins with a Fevertree Tonic
Looks to me as if its just been agreed to supply Fevertree I have found the Toby drinks menu and it clearly states Fevertree :-)
Had lunch at my local Toby carvery today They were promoting the Toby Gin club and on there advertising brochure is a picture of Gin wth Fevertree tonic water.(Find Toby Gin Ad) Spoke to the barman who told me that they do not and have never have stocked Fevertree, which he thought as with me was very strange. He agreed it is a very good tonic water but they only sale Britvic. Was this just a one off or do Fevertree have contract with Toby to sale their tonic water. Anyone out there know the answer.
