What I would like to see is Fevertree going after the J2o Business with their own range to compete with Britvic. This is why quite a lot of bars still stock both as Britivic can provide the full service. The J2o market is huge too and Fevertree can do it better with a great natural product.
I don't think there has been a leak, unless it's a bid. The most recent announcement on November stated that they were ahead of expectations. Now that the festive season is upon us, people have woken up to the fact that the next announcement is due in about five weeks. Still seems to be flying off the shelves, tastes better than the Schweppes product. Massive potential outside the UK as well.
Someone must have leaked the news that 2017 performance will be materially ahead of market expectations
6% rise!? No news??
Nice rise, Santa rally taking off fast
or Rather don't want to be greedy :-) ( doh my phone) Looks like its going to make £21 soon, has a habit of dropping in early January if I remember from last year so watch out or another chance to buy
2 percent every day will do, I don't wont to be gready
Now let’s see a steady climb please
Santa rally?
I think the YE results are on the 31st, that should hopefully give the SP a lift. I think further growth potential is there without DGE never mind with them throwing weight behind the brand.
Had a lovely rhubarb gin and tonic earlier - I still believe this has legs. Can not for the life of me understand why Diageo aren’t launching a bid...
Volume still pathetic but sp creeping upwards.
Trading pattern repeating. Sp In the hands of the Bots. Bouncing off the 200 SMA.
Perhaps they phone ahead and warn them there's a big one coming down the pipe.....! ;-)
It never drops when I have dump, why are they so special? :-)
over £3m. Perhaps that's why yesterday's drop?
Martin Millers is another favourite lol. Get buying everything through paypal and help my other holding 👍
Now that you've said that I'm going to make me a Martin Miller's and Fever Tree! Have a good Christmas all...Fever Tree gift boxes all round I hope! Haha
Not that they're alcoholics they just all like Gin :P
Id be topping up at this price but everything is tied up elsewhere. Christmas should be interesting. My family alone drink tonic by the barrel.
Well that's one at £1.9 million
Personally I think that it's only natural for the price to drop on this type of news. A bit like when a firm makes a bid to acquire another firm, the price drops because it is a significant capital outlay and new uncertainties as the business expands. The positive SP change comes when (if) positive news comes off the back of the expansion, when it has developed and has been 'de-risked'. That said, I would have expected this drop yesterday, not today - so that is strange...
I think they can spend a bit on marketing now with America and elsewhere they can afford it with at least £60 mln in the bank by now.
Odd isn't it, news of a new office opening in the US should boost the share price.
